낙동강 수역의 붕소 오염원과 분포특성 연구 (A Study for Source and Distribution of Boron in Nakdong River)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the source(s) and distribution of boron in Nak-dong River. In the year of 2002, the boron has been adopted as a toxic constituent for Korean drinking water standard. In this study, the analytical samples were collected at 11 stations in March, June, September and December 2002. These samples were analyzed by inductively coupled plasma-mass (ICP-MS) method. The recovery, relative standard deviation and method detection limit of the ICP-MS method for boron was $89{\sim}111.3%$, $2.21{\sim}3.81%$ and $5{\mu}g/L$, respectively. The distribution of boron was ranged $65{\sim}155{\mu}g/L$ in March, $26{\sim}125{\mu}g/L$ in June, $22{\sim}140{\mu}g/L$ in September and $50{\sim}162{\mu}g/L$ in December. The higher levels of boron were found at Kum-ho river nearby the industrial complex, which seemed to be greatly affected by domestic sewages and wastewater from the upper streams. Thus, the concentration of boron and that of other components showed strong statistical correlation in this area. In the Nak-dong River, industrial wastewater and domestic sewages is thought to be the sources of boron.

  • Pneumatic servo valve which is widely applied in industrial world is advanced technology compounded with electric, electronic and machine. And It is consist of Linear Force Motor. Spool Commutation Mechanism and Microprocessor. In this study, we accomplished test method of Linear Force motor test, Static characteristic test, Dynamic characteristic test for KS(Koran industrial standard) of Pneumatic servo valve. we accomplished study about the main item of Static characteristic test which is related to unload flow characteristic test. And Dynamic characteristic test was step input test and frequency response test. Specially about frequency response test, There was a difficulty resulting from the time delay problem caused by the basic compressibility of air. In order to solve the problem in this study. we proposed two methods. First, displacement of the servo valve spool was directly measured by using a laser sensor. Second, method of calculating control flow by measuring pressure and temperature of chamber.

우리나라 작업환경 측정기관의 정도관리를 위한 기준값에 관한 연구 (An Evaluation of Reference Values Used for Quality Control of the Korean Industrial Hygiene Laboratory)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate accuracy and precision of reference values used for quality control of the Korean industrial hygiene laboratory for three rounds. Factors affecting on accuracy and precision, including analytical procedures, were investigated. The results are summarized as follows. 1. Pooled relative standard deviation of reference values analyzed by reference laboratories was 2.01-5.91%, and that by both reference laboratories and participated laboratories was 3.18-6.63%. Better results were obtained when results of reference laboratories were employed. 2. Significant relationship was indicated between analytical precision and concentration of materials in samples. Variation increased by decreasing sample concentration. 3. Recoveries of lead and cadmium were about 98.6% and 99.8% respectively. There was a significant difference between lead values with and without recovery correction. 4. Organic solvent results corrected by desorption efficiency only and those corrected by Both internal standards and desorption efficiency were more accurate than those uncorrected. But, the latter was the best.

항공 품질경영시스템 인증활동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Certification Activities on Aerospace Quality Management System)

  • The AS9100 aerospace standard has become the aerospace quality management system standard instead of ISO9001 and MIL-Q-9858A by international aerospace manufacturing companies. The organization which adopts AS9100 standard is to be certified by an independent third party certification body as IAQG requests. The quality management system certification assessor shall utilize the AS9101 standard prepared by IAQG to assess AS9100 organization. In this paper, AS9101 quality system questionnaire is analyzed and scoring method which characterizes AS9101 is reviewed. Score attained can be utilized as an organizational quality index. Practical data gathered by certified assessors from 2002 to 2007 are analyzed and suggested to improve the organization's system operational efficiency based on the analysis results. Suggestions can be utilized by any organization to prepare assessment or to enhance the level of quality system maturity. This study is applicable to the future as well as present aerospace manufacturing activities throughout the world.

  • 콘크리트 제품(製品)의 제조(製造)에 산업폐기물(産業廢棄物)과 연탄재의 이용(利用)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)를 위하여 시멘트 모르터에 사용(使用)되는 잔골재 대용(代用)으로 연탄재를 사용(使用)하여 연탄재의 모르터를 만들었고 시멘트에는 카바이트 찌거지, Bottom-ash를 혼입(混入)하여 3종류(種類)의 모르터를 만들어 표준사(標準砂)를 사용(使用)한 모르터와 압축(壓縮), 인장(引張) 및 휨강도(强度)를 비교(比較) 시험(試驗)하였다. 본시험(本試驗) 이외(以外)에 경제성(經濟性)의 검토(檢討), 내구성시험(耐久性試驗)등 구명(究明)되어야할 문제(問題)가 남어 있으나 본시험(本試驗)에서 얻은 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 표준사(標準砂)를 사용(使用)한 모르터의 압축(壓縮), 인장(引張) 및 휨강도(强度)를 각각(各各) 100%로 했을 때 1:2에서 압축강도(壓縮强度)는 재령(材令) 7일(日)에서 시멘트 : 연탄재는 70%, (시멘트+카바이트 찌거기) : 연탄재는 61%, (시멘트+Bottom-ash) : 연탄재는 58%의 강도(强度)가 나타났으며 재령(材令) 28일(日)에서 시멘트 : 연탄재는 56%. (시멘트+카바이트 찌거기) : 연탄재는 49%, (시멘트+Bottom-ash) : 연탄재는 48%의 강도(强度)를 나타냈다. 2. 압축강도(壓縮强度)는 1:2의 재령(材令) 7일(日)에서 KS 규격치(規格値)에 대(對)하여 시멘트 : 연탄재는 84%, (시멘트+카바이트 찌거기) : 연탄재는 73%, (시멘트+Bottom-ash) : 연탄재는 70%의 강도(强度)를 나타내고 있고 재령(材令) 28일(日)에서 시멘트 : 연탄재는 85%, (시멘트+카바이트 찌거기) : 연탄재는 73%, (시멘트+Bottom-ash) : 연탄재도 73%의 강도(强度)를 나타내고 있다. 3. 인장강도(引張强度)에서는 1:2의 재령(材令) 7일(日)에서 시멘트 : 표준사(標準砂)에 비(比)해 시멘트 : 연탄재는 64%, (시멘트+카바이트 찌거기) : 연탄재는 36%, (시멘트+Bottom-ash) : 연탄재도 36%의 강도(强度)가 나타났으며 재령(材令)28일(日)에서 시멘트 : 연탄재는 70%, (시멘트+카바이트 찌거기) : 연탄재는 47%, (시멘트+Bottom-ash) : 연탄재는 36%의 강도(强度)를 나타내고 재령(材令) 7 및 28일(日)에서 시멘트 : 연탄재가 KS규격(規格) 이상이 었으며 기타(其他)는 재령(材令) 7일(日)에서 $61{\sim}62%$, 재령(材令) 28일(日)에서 $75{\sim}90%$이었다. 4. 휨강도(强度)에서는 1 : 2의 재령(材令) 7일(日)에서 시멘트 표준사(標準砂)에 비(比)해 시멘트 : 연탄재는 46%, (시멘트+카바이트 찌거기) : 연탄재는 53%, (시멘트+Bottom-ash) : 연탄재는 50%의 강도(强度)가 나타났으며 재령(材令) 28일(日)에서 시멘트 : 연탄재는 90%, (시멘트+카바이트 찌거기) : 연탄재는 77%, (시멘트+Bottom-ash) : 연탄재는 69%의 강도(强度)를 나타냈다. 5. 연탄재를 이용(利用)한 모르터는 시멘트 모르터에 비(比)해 낮은 강도(强度)를 나타내나 저강도(低强度)를 요(要)하는 시멘트 또는 콘크리트 이차제품(二次製品)에 이용(利用)이 가능(可能)하다고 보며 연탄재와 산업폐기물(産業廢棄物)을 건설재료(建設材料)로 이용(利用)하므로서 각종공해방지(各種公害防止)와 폐기물처리(廢棄物處理)의 세력절약(勢力節約)과 폐기물(廢棄物)의 유효이용으로 자원(資源)의 절약(節約)을 기(期)할 수 있을 것으로 사료(思料)된다.

대산 석유화학 산업단지 인근 지역에서의 BTEX 인체 위해성 평가 (Human Health Risk Assessment of BTEX from Daesan Petrochemical Industrial Complex)

  • 본 연구에서는 대산 석유화학 산업단지에서 배출되는 BTEX (benzene toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene)의 농도 및 분포 특성을 조사하여 지역주민에 대한 잠재적 위해성을 파악하였다. 산업단지 인근 지역주민들은 다양한 매체(공기, 물, 토양), 특히 공기를 통해 화학물질에 노출될 수 있다. 이 연구는 결정론적 및 확률론적 위해성 평가 접근 방식을 모두 사용하여 흡입에 의한 인체 건강 위험을 평가하였다. 결정론적 위해성 평가 결과 모든 지점에 대해 비발암 위해도의 유해지수(HI) 1.0보다 훨씬 낮은 결과가 나타났다. 그러나 발암 위해성 평가 결과, 산업단지 내에 위치한 A 지점에서 벤젠에 대한 초과발암위해도는 2.28×10-6로 기준치인 1.0×10-6을 약간 상회하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 해당 지점에 대한 확률론적 위해성 평가 결과, 보수적 기준인 1.0×10-6을 초과하는 Percentile은 45.3%로 나타났으며, 민감도 분석 결과 노출시간(ET)가 결과에 미치는 영향이 가장 크다고 판단되었다. 인체 위해성 평가 결과, 에틸벤젠, 톨루엔, 자일렌에 대해서는 인체에 위해한 영향이 적은 것으로 판단되었으나, 벤젠은 초과발암위해도 기준(1.0×10-6)을 초과하는 것으로 나타났다. 산업단지에서 공기 중 VOCs에 대한 광범위한 모니터링을 통해 이러한 잠재적 위험을 평가하기 위한 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.

EPMA를 이용한 침탄강의 정확하고 신뢰성 있는 탄소농도 측정을 위한 분석조건 최적화 (Optimization of Analytical Condition for Reliable and Accurate Measurement of Carbon Concentration in Carburized Steel by EPMA)

  • The carbon concentration in the carburized steels was measured by electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) for a range of soluted carbon content in austenite from 0.1 to 1.2 wt%. This study demonstrates the problems in carbon quantitative analysis using the existing calibration curve derived from pure iron (0.008 wt%C) and graphite (99.98 wt%C) as standard specimens. In order to derive an improved calibration curve, carbon homogenization treatment was performed to produce a uniform Kα intensity in selected standard samples (AISI 8620, AISI 4140, AISI 1065, AISI 52100 steel). The trend of detection intensity was identified according to the analysis condition, such as accelerating voltage (10, 15, 30 keV), and beam current (20, 50 nA). The appropriate analysis conditions (15 keV, 20 nA) were derived. When the carbon concentration depth profile of the carburized specimen was measured for a short carburizing time using the improved calibration curve, it proved to be a more reliable and accurate analysis method compared to the conventional analysis method.

소음지도를 이용한 도로교통소음에 관한 연구 - 시화멀티테크노밸리 개발사업을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Road Traffic Noise Effect Using a Noise Map - Development of Sihwa Multi Techno Valley -)

  • Korean society is faced with various new problems arising from the development projects of new towns, industrial cities, large-scale residential complexes, etc. started from the 1970s. Particularly with the construction of residential and industrial complexes by the roadsides, they are openly exposed to road traffic noise and vibration. Thus, the objective of this study is to examine using noise maps how increasing traffic volume affects road traffic noise and what problems it causes in areas where new towns or complexes are constructed by development projects. According to the results of this study, in areas around the sites of development projects, the noise level increased by road traffic noise compared to that before development and was 1.16~6.92 times higher than the environmental noise standard, but measures to reduce road traffic noise was lukewarm. In addition, areas with soundproof facilities showed a noise level 1~3 step lower than other areas, and in individual buildings, the noise level on the side facing the road was 1~2 step higher than that on the rear side.

사업체 규모 및 출하특성 자료를 이용한 화물운송시장 분할 (Freight Market Segmentation Using Company Size and Shipment Characteristics Data)

  • 화물운송시장의 분할은 운송시장의 효율화를 기하고 운송인이 물동량을 유치하기 위한 전략을 알기 위해 사용된다 화주 개개인의 성향을 파악하기 어려우므로 화주를 동질성을 갖는 몇 개의 군집으로 묶어 집단의 성향을 파악한다. 우리나라의 경우 표준산업분류의 배열순서에 따라 시장분할을 하여 왔다. 본 연구는 제조업체를 대상으로 새로운 운송시장 분할 가능성을 평가하였다. 연구의 결과 시장분할을 위한 적정 기준은 연간 입 출하량으로 우수한 분할능력을 보였다 또한 표준산업분류표의 배열순서에 따른 시장분할과 다른 결과를 도출하였다 본 연구는 물동량 발생 주체인 제조업체의 규모와 출하특성을 나타내는 자료를 이용하여 운송시장을 분할한 시도로서 의의가 있다.

ISO 품질시스템 인증과 경영품질 (ISO Quality System Certification and Management Quality)

  • Ever since the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) established the ISO 9000 Family standard in 1987, many countries have selected this as their national standard and have provided support for its implementation and conducted assessment activities on the results of its implementation. Likewise, certification assessment was first begun in Korea in 1994, with the result that over 7,600 certificates have been issued to domestic enterprises during the past 5 years or so. This is significant not only in the remarkable growth rate in terms of quantity but also in the fact that it has made possible the establishment of a quality system that meets international standards among Korean enterprises. In this article, it will briefly introduce the establishment and certification of the ISO quality system for those organizations that are complying with the quality system as a part of the process of strengthening their quality competitiveness. For those organizations that have already established the quality system and implemented it for years, we will show the direction for continuous quality improvement in order for these organizations not only to fulfill the requirements but to maintain the superiority of the quality system and their management quality. In addition, it will show what preparations are necessary for organizations and certification bodies in order to expand a manufacturing process-oriented quality system to one that is geared to the total management quality.
