In this study, It classified type of irrigation water development in islands district. As result, the types which were type of reservior, fleshwater lake, pumped storage, ets. Most of islands district has developed reuse irrigation system as a pumped storage system. But, Irrigation water-reuse ratio doesn't define a basis clearly and the value of measurement for water-reuse ratio doesn't exist so far. so, we measured Irrigation water-reuse to clarify for water-reuse ratio in a pumped storage system.

We give conditions so that a polynomial be factorable through an $L_{\gamma}({\mu})$ space. Among them, we prove that, given a Banach space X and an index m, every absolutely summing operator on X is 1-factorable if and only if every 1-dominated m-homogeneous polynomial on X is right 1-factorable, if and only if every 1-dominated m-homogeneous polynomial on X is left 1-factorable. As a consequence, if X has local unconditional structure, then every 1-dominated homogeneous polynomial on X is right and left 1-factorable.

For the remarkable enhancement of high-speed rail passenger services, a system which provides various multimedia contents and Internet search functions was designed. The system gets inputs from a passenger and displays various multimedia contents on the touch sensitive LCD panel attached on a passenger seat. This kind of service is new in Korea and not easy to find in other countries, either. In this paper, we presented a design of a system which provides not only one-way broadcasting services but also searching capability of various information interactively. Informations to be provided are train schedule, transfer information, tour information, E-books, movies, music, ets. Successful completion of the system development in the following years is expected to strengthen international competitiveness of Korean railway industry.

After the Kyoto Protocol has been ratitied in Feb. 16 2005, the developed countries which is involved in Annex-1 have tried to mitigate GHG to the reduction objective. To accomplish this objective, EU developed EU-ETS, CDM project, and so on. Korea has faced pressure to be a member of Annex-1, because Korea and Mexico are only non-Annex-1 countries in the OECD nations. This study is intended to examine unfolding transition on negotiations of Conference of Parties(COP), the Kyoto Mechanism referred as a cost-effective tool to meet a targeted level of greenhouse gas decrease, and trends in responses of developed countries to the Kyoto Protocol, and finally suggests legal and politic counterplans responding to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(hereafter, UNFCCC).

Recently, the subject of \"wavelet analysis\" has drawn much attention from both mathematical and engineering application fields such as Signal Processing, Compression/Decomposition, Statistics and ets. Analogous to Fourier analysis, wavelets is a versatile tool with very rich mathematical content and great potential for applications. Specially, wavelet transform uses localizable various mother wavelet functions in time-frequency domain. In this paper, discrimination analyses of acquired electrical current signals for each and mixed loads were tried by using Morlet wavelet transform. Their representative loads were classified as TV, DRY(Dryer), REF(Refrigerate), and FL(Fluorescent Lamp).

Nowadays, road transportation which has played a key role in the market of both passenger and freight transportation is facing with a serious problem, the traffic congestion causing a delay of transportation. Therefore, railroad transportation is considered as an attractive alternative mode of inland transportation due to its inherent merits in mass transportation such as relatively low cost compared with road transportations, less air pollution and noise than other mode ets. In this paper, therefore, we examine the current situation of railroad transportation markets including TKR(Trans- Korean Railway}, TSR(Trans-Siberian Railway} and prospects for the connection of TKR-TSR. And then we examine the structure of the container transportation market by railroad in Korea with a brief analysis of the traffic volume of TKR-TSR.

The purpose of this study is to estimate monthly Morton evapotranspiration (ET) using normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) from MODIS satellite images. Morton ET for land surface conditions was evaluated by using daily meteorological data, and the monthly averaged Morton ETs for each land cover were compared with the monthly NDVIs of three years (2000-2002) at Chungjudam Watershed. There was a high correlation between monthly NDVI and Morton ET for the watershed with average coefficient of determination, 0.80. By comparing the MODIS NDVI ET with SLURP Morton ET, the SLURP ET was smaller than the MODIS NDVI ET. This was estimated from the consideration of soil moisture condition for the ET occurrence in the SLURP model, the limited information from the monthly NDVI values, and the errors from the derived regression equations.

The purpose of this study is to estimate monthly evapotranspiration (ET) using normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) obtained from NOAA/AVHRR data sets. Actual evapotranspiration was evaluated by the complementary relationship (Morton, 1978, Brutsaert and Stricker, 1979), and monthly NDVI was obtained by maximum value composite method from daily NDVI images in the Korean peninsula for the year 2001. The monthly actual ETs for each land cover were compared with the monthly NDVIs to determine relationships between actual ET and NDVI for each land cover category. There was a high correlation between monthly NDVI and monthly averaged actual ET. This study presents an alternative approach for land surface evapotranspiration based on remote sensing techniques.

This study was conducted to compare two biomarkers of environmental tobacco smoke (ETS); urinary cotinine and 1-hydroxypyrene-glucuronide (1-OHPG). Urine samples were collected from 102 junior high school students. Urinary cotinine was determined by GC and urinary 1-OHPG was assayed by synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy (SFS) after immuno-affinity purification using monoclonal antibody 8E11.(omitted)

While there a growing interest in Voluntary Carbon Disclosure (VCD), comparatively little is discussed whether the improved quality of voluntary carbon disclosure can lead to subsequent changes in a company's carbon reduction performance. Drawing on companies under the Korean Emission Trading Scheme (ETS) with the contents analysis of their sustainable reports, the present research seeks to address the existing knowledge gaps in the current literature on environmental disclosure. Findings empirically show that an increase in the voluntary carbon disclosure score is positively transformed into changes in carbon performance and further develop that the effect of voluntary carbon disclosure on carbon performance varies depending on changes in management capability with the moderation effect.
