MIRIS Paα Galactic Plane Survey: The results in l = 276°-296°

  • The Multipupose InfraRed Imaging System (MIRIS) Paα Galactic Plane Survey (MIPAPS) covers the whole Galactic plane with the latitude range of -3° < b < +3°. Next to the first result in l = 96°-116° (Cepheus), we present the results in l = 276°-296° (Carina). This region with the direction toward the inner Galaxy, has much higher extinction but much more Paα-emitting sources than Cepheus. We list up the detected Paα sources, and compare them with the WISE H II region catalog (there are 308 H II regions and candidates in this region) and VPHAS+ Hα image. By detecting the Paα and Hα recombination lines, 71 H II region candidates are newly confirmed as definite H II regions, out of which 53 H II regions are detected at Paα. For the Paα-detected sources, we measure the Paα and Hα fluxes and estimate the E(B-V) color excesses for the extended sources.

  • The SPICA (SPace Infrared Telescope for Cosmology & Astrophysics) is a next generation infrared space telescope being prepared by JAXA, ESA and other international collaborators. We propose to develop FPC (Focal Plane Camera) consisting of two near-infrared cameras: FPC-G (I band) for focal plane guidance and FPC-S (0.7 - 5 um) for a back-up of FPC-G and a NIR instrument for scientific observations. In this talk, we introduce the requirement and the design concept of the FPC as well as the development strategy of the project.

  • In this paper, we consider the parameter space of the rational plane curves with uni-branched singularity. We show that such a parameter space is decomposable into irreducible components which are rational varieties. Rational parametrizations of the irreducible components are given in a constructive way, by a repeated use of Abhyankar-Moh Epimorphism Theorem. We compute an enumerative invariant of this parameter space, and include explicit computational examples to recover some classically-known invariants.

레이다 공간급전용 다중-개구 송신 혼 안테나 (The Multi-Aperture Transmit Horn Antenna for Radar Space Feeder)

  • In this paper, the transmit antenna for the space feeder used for the phased array antennas is investigated. The multi-aperture horn antenna is proposed as the transmit antenna and the characteristics are verified with the Matlab coding, HFSS of Ansoft Corp., and MWS of CST Corp., The E-plane and H-plane beam patterns of the multi-aperture horn antenna are nearly symmetrical and the sidelobe level of the I-plane beam pattern is lower than that the of general pyramidal horn antenna. The fabricated multi-aperture horn antenna is measured using the near-field measurement system. The measured results show good agreement with the simulated ones.

  • This research tried to observe transition quality of unit plan for public space Korea public operated house since the 1950s. Plane of public-operated house had continually accommodated lifestyle change until present from the late 1950s. "Frontward 3 urface unit 3LDK'composition plans become settle by the representative plane after the 1990s. The process that with special quality change of public space the relation is deep. it is proposed consequently to analyze the space special quality change of the public operated house unit plan style.

Focal Plane Damage Analysis by the Space Radiation Environment in Aura Satellite Orbit

  • Radiation-induced displacement damage which has caused the increase of the dark current in the focal plane adopted in the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) was studied in regards of the primary protons and the secondaries generated by the protons in the orbit. By using the Monte Carlo N-Particle Transport Code System (MCNPX) version 2.4.0 along with the Stopping and Range of Ions in Matter version 2010 (SRIM2010), effects of the primary protons as well as secondary particles including neutron, electron, and photon were investigated. After their doses and fluxes that reached onto the charge-coupled device (CCD) were examined, displacement damage induced by major sources was presented.

Conceptual Design of a Rocket-Powered Plane And Its Use For Space Tourism

  • A rocket-powered vehicle is designed conceptually which uses an engine running on methane and oxygen and delivering 10 tons of thrust. The aerodynamic coefficients of the vehicle are taken to be those of the Japan's HOPE-X, and the weight of this vehicle is estimated using a method developed by NASA. The resulting vehicle will be about 9 meters long, 5.8 meters in wing span, weigh about 2 tons empty, carry a maximum of 5.6 tons of propellant, and endure a g-load of 4.5. The craft will be able to carry five passengers, in addition to a pilot, and fly for space tourism between a northern and a southern airport with a maximum g-load varying from 3g to 4g depending on the route flown.

  • 본 논문에서는 한국형 우주비행기(KSP)에 대한 새로운 재진입 유도를 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 방법은 우주 왕복선 유도 개념과 유사하게 다양한 비행경로 제약조건과 경계조건을 만족시키는 기준 항력 프로파일을 미리 결정하고, 결정된 기준 항력 프로파일을 추종하는 방식으로 유도명령이 구현된다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 항력 동역학을 조사하였으며, 그 결과 항력과 비행경로각의 동역학적 응답 특성이 상당히 다르다는 사실이 밝혀졌다. 이 사실을 바탕으로 제안한 유도명령은 시간분리 기법과 궤환선형화 방법을 사용하여 결정된다. 제안한 유도기법의 주요 특징은 간단한 구조와 명확한 작동 메커니즘에 있다. 따라서 제안된 방법은 기존 방법에 비해 구현이 간단하다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 방법의 성능을 조사하기 위해 수치 시뮬레이션을 수행한다.

효율적인 공간도형의 방정식 지도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Teaching Method of Equation of Figure in Space Effectively)

  • Two groups of students, who are the students in the natural science course of high school in Korea, learned the equation of figure in space (point, line, plane) to understand more effectively with two different textbooks. One group was taught with the textbook used now in most high schools and the other group was taught with the textbooks systematized by associating old concept with new concept. The results are as follows : 1) We need understand the basic concept of vector plainly and flexibly to apply it to the solution of problems. 2) It helps students understand new concepts how we should establish the concept about point, line and plane in space by applying the concept about those on XY plane, 3) It is very effective in understanding the new knowledge system more easily to analyze the existent concepts and to arrange them systematically for efficient understanding of new concepts. 4) The texts which consist of contents organized by basic concepts improve students' learning ability.

산후조리원의 공간구성 및 규모에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Space Organization and Programming of Postpartum Care Center)

  • This study aims to provide space organization of the Postpartum Care Center and basic data for architectural planning in the reasonable size. Nurturing method of infants at independent Postpartum Care Center combines rooming-in and non rooming-in and space organization is planned accordingly. Types of the existing floor plans are classified as a type centered on maternity protection room, a type of the separate space for multipurpose, a near type to the infants' room. New types of plane are presented as follows a core type concentrate upon nurse room, the infants' room and the same environmental and balanced corridors between the both. When an average capacity of 20 at Postpartum Care Center is planned, proper suitable floor space of Postpartum Care Center is above $753.9m^2$ and $37.69m^2$ per postpartum woman is required. It is indicated that an average floor space per postpartum woman of the reviewed facilities is smaller than one of the Postpartum Care Center in a plan and plane distributed by function too lack in nursing space. Expansion of space for the Postpartum Care Center is generally required, also the enlargement of nursing space is necessary to be harmonized with the management of a medical facilities and those mutual cooperation.
