혼종모형을 이용한 임상간호사의 사회지능 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of Social Intelligence of Nurses Using Hybrid Model)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to conduct a concept analysis of social intelligence in nurses so that applying social intelligence to the nursing field. Methods: In this study, we followed the hybrid model procedure, involving the following steps: First, in the theoretical stage, the attributes and definitions of the concept of social intelligence were determined through literature review. Second, the concepts' reality was confirmed during fieldwork. In the final analysis stage, the results confirmed in the theoretical and fieldwork stages were compared and analyzed to confirm the properties and definition of the concept. Results: Nurses' social intelligence consists of three dimensions: social cognitive nursing competency, human-centered social evolution, and skills for solving complex nursing situations. Nurses' social intelligence is a professional nursing competency that flexibly coordinates complex nursing situations, developed through accumulating experiences of continuous reflection and relationship expansion based on receptive listening and social sensitivity in clinical interpersonal relationships. Conclusion: Nurses' social intelligence is widely used in clinical practice and is shown to have a significant direct and indirect impact on clinical nursing. To effectively apply social intelligence in the clinical context, individual and organizational efforts are required to share and transfer knowledge and capacity-building methods through collective intelligence and education.

Behavioral Interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Brief Review and Guidelines With a Specific Focus on Applied Behavior Analysis

  • We conducted a comprehensive review of behavioral and educational interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The most prominent type of intervention, Comprehensive Early Intervention, often referred to as Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI), has been found to be particularly effective in improving intelligence and adaptive behaviors. The naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention, designed to enhance social and communication abilities, showed effectiveness in improving language, cognitive function, and social initiation. However, more studies are needed to examine its effectiveness. Intensive individualized intervention, which provides a tailored intervention for a specific target behavior, was effective in improving social skills and communication, as well as reducing sleep, eating, and toileting problems. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is the most effective method for dealing with emotional difficulties, but it has not been widely used because of the shortage of trained experts. Parent-mediated intervention (PMI) involves parents acquiring knowledge and specific skills to improve their child's functioning or reduce challenging behaviors. Speech and language therapy, sensory integration, Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communications Handicapped Children, developmental approaches, and social stories are frequently used interventions. However, evidence of their effectiveness has yet to be well established. Based on these findings, intervention recommendations for autism include EIBI, Early Start Denver Model, intensive individualized intervention, CBT, and PMI. The choice of intervention should be tailored to the individual's needs and delivered by qualified professionals with expertise in the specific intervention.

어린이집 교사 대상 학령전기 아동의 눈건강에 대한 확장된 병행과정 모델 기반 질적 내용분석 연구 (A qualitative content analysis based on an extended parallel process model study of daycare center teacher behaviors concerning the eye health of preschool children)

  • Purpose: This study is to explore the antecedent factors of daycare teacher behaviors concerning the eye health of preschool children by applying an extended parallel process model. Methods: Focus group interviews were conducted with ten daycare center teachers on September 4 and 14, 2023. A data analysis was performed according to the content analysis method by clustering the data into the four categories: the two threat factors of severity and susceptibility and the two efficacy factors of self-efficacy and response-efficacy. Results: Daycare center teachers' perception of the severity of eye health problems in preschool children was high in relation to eye trauma, but it was recognized that viewing the electronic devices were of a less severe because symptoms were not noticed in a short period of time. They also showed low susceptibility because they were not sufficiently interested in the eye health hazard behaviors of preschool children. The self-efficacy of daycare center teachers was low because this was a lack of knowledge about symptoms of eye problems. However, they recognized that eye health activities performed in the preschool age could prevent negative eye health outcomes, thus showing a high response efficacy. Conclusion: In the future, it is necessary to increase the sensitivity and engagement of daycare center teachers concerning with the eye health of preschool children and to increase their self-efficacy. It will also be necessary to develop various interventions to improve eye health for preschool children that can be implemented by daycare center teachers.

산학협력이 중소벤처기업의 기술혁신성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Efforts of Technological Innovation by Academia-Industrial Collaboration for Venture Businesses)

  • 본 논문은 산학협력 네트워크 활동이 중소 벤처기업의 기술혁신 성과에 어떻게 미치는지를 연구한 것으로 산학협력을 통한 공동장비 활용협력, 기술인력 지원 및 교류협력, 공동 기술개발 및 기술지도 협력의 세 가지 요인이 기업가 역량과 흡수 능력에 어떤 영향을 미치는지와 최종적으로 이러한 기업가 역량과 흡수 능력이 중소벤처기업의 기술혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 시화반월지구에 위치한 1100여개의 중소벤처기업을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 설문 결과를 구조방정식 모형에 적용하여 개별 요소간의 상관관계를 파악하여 이를 검정하였다. 또한 산학협력 체결 기업과 미체결기업 간의 기술 혁신성과를 비교함으로써 중소벤처기업의 산학협력 활용능력을 제고하기 위한 방안을 수립하였다. 구조방정식을 통한 개별 항목의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 공동장비 활용협력, 기술인력 지원 및 교류협력, 공동 기술개발 및 기술지도 협력 모두 기업가 역량에 큰 영향력을 미쳤으나, 지식흡수능력에는 부분적으로 영향을 미쳤으며, 최종적으로 기업가 역량과 지식흡수 능력 중 기업가 역량만 기술혁신 성과에 영향력을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 위의 요소들이 업종별, 제품성장 단계별로 미치는 영향은 기업가 역량에는 동일하게 나타나고 다른 요소들은 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 산학협력에 대한 다른 전략이 마련되어야 함을 알 수 있다. 또한 산학협력 체결 기업은 미체결 기업에 비해 기술개선, 신제품 개발 건수, 공정개선 건수의 항목이 산학협력 미체결 기업보다 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Development of a Breast Cancer Awareness Scale for Thai Women: Moving towards a Validated Measure

  • Background: Breast cancer is a major health problem among women around the world. Recent developments in screening and treatment have greatly improved the prognosis of patients with breast cancer in developed countries. However, in developing countries breast cancer mortality remains high.Breast cancer awareness is a first and important step in reducing breast cancer mortality. The development of a validated instrument to measure breast cancer awareness is crucial for the understanding and implementation of suitable health education programs to facilitate early deletion and minimize mortality. Objective: The objective of this study was to develop an instrument for the assessment of breast cancer awareness in Thai women. Materials and Methods: This methodological study was conducted in two stages: (1) literature searches and semi-structured interviews were conducted to generate items of the breast cancer awareness scale (B-CAS) which were subsequently examined for content and face validity, and (2) an exploration of the factor structure of the resulting instrument and an examination of its reliability. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire in Thai women aged 20-64 in August, 2015. Results: A total of 219 women (response rate 97.4 %) participated in this validation study. The B-CAS contains five domains with 53 items on breast cancer awareness: 1) knowledge of risk factors, 2) knowledge of signs and symptoms, 3) attitude to breast cancer prevention, 4) barriers of breast screening, and 5) health behavior related to breast cancer awareness. Items with a content validity index < 0.80 were excluded, and factor structure for the remaining items reflected the hypothesized five factor model. The scales based on all retained items was shown to have strongly internal consistency reliability (Cronbach's ${\alpha}=0.86$). Conclusions: The B-CAS provides good psychometric properties to assess breast cancer awareness in women. It can be used to examine breast cancer awareness in Thai women and it could lead to the development and evaluation of suitable educational interventions for raising breast cancer awareness. Future research should focus on further validating the B-CAS including an assessment of construct and criterion-based validity.

Effectiveness of a Health Educational Program Based on Self-Efficacy and Social Support for Preventing Liver Fluke Infection in Rural People of Surin Province, Thailand

  • Opisthorchiasis is a major problem in Thailand particularly in northeast region which also has a high incidence of cholangiocarcinomas. Since health modification is needed, this quasi-experimental study aimed to assess the effectiveness of a health education program based on self-efficacy and social support in Tha Tum district, Surin province, Thailand. A total of 70 participants were purposive selected with a history of opisthorchiasis. Participants were divided into experimental and control groups, each with 35 subjects. The experimental group received a health education program composed of: (1) knowledge improvement, lectured with multimedia, demonstration, brochure, and handbook; (2) group discussion about their health beliefs, sharing their ideas and experience; and (3) social support from village health volunteers (VHV), heads of villages (HV), friends, and members of families, and public health officer (PHO). Follow-up was by PHO/VHV/HV, with provision of certificates and flasg for household that did not eat raw fish. Data were collected by predesigned questionnaires after implementation of the program for 3 months. Comparative data was analyzed by paired simple t-test and independent t-test. The results revealed that the experimental group had mean score of knowledge higher more than before the experiment (mean difference=3.1, t=3.915, 95%CI-3.3, -1.8 p-value=0.001), and the control group (mean difference=2.5, t=4.196, 95%CI=1.4, 3.6, p-value=0.001) with statistical significance. The mean scores of practice were higher than before the experiment (mean difference=4.6, t=4.331, 95%CI-5.3, -3.1, p-value=0.001), and control group (mean difference=4.4, t=6.142, 95%CI=4.2, 7.9, p-value=0.001). The mean scores of perceived susceptibility and perceived severity of opisthorchiasis, al well as perceived benefits and perceived barriers to prevention of opisthorchiasis, were also higher than before the experiment and in the control group (p-value <0.001). In conclusion, this was a successful health education program for liver fluke avoidance. Therefore, it may useful for further behavior modification in the other epidemic areas.

농특산물 직거래판매시설에 관한 현장중심의 참여디자인 효과: 참여자의 의식변화를 중심으로 (The Effect of Field-Based Participation Design on Agricultural Direct Sales Facilities: Process Change of Awareness on Participant)

  • 변화하는 사회에 따라 디자인 과정에서도 사용자의 참여를 요구하는 참여디자인이 증가하지만, 실제 디자인개발에서 발생하는 문제 개선이나 참여디자인의 효과를 나타내는 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 사용자 현장을 중심으로 한 참여디자인을 통해 참여자의 의식변화 측면에서 효과를 확인하고자, 본 연구에서는 농촌의 농특산물 직거래판매시설을 대상으로 이해관계자 모두가 참여한 참여디자인 프로그램을 통해 참여자 의식변화를 조사하여 현장중심의 참여디자인 효과를 확인하였다. 먼저 문헌고찰 통해 참여디자인의 이해와 연구동향을 살핀 다음 효과분석을 위한 효과 검증모델을 활용하여 설문 문항을 개발하고, 참여디자인 프로그램의 디자인워크숍을 구성하여 이를 현장에 적용하였다. 효과를 분석하기 위한 참여자 의식변화 조사는 프로그램의 사전과 사후에 동기, 지식, 인식, 기능, 참여의 영역에서 디자인전공자를 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하고, 개방형 질문에서 추가로 결과를 보완하여 참여디자인의 효과를 파악하였다. 그 결과, 참여디자인 프로그램을 통해 참여자들은 직거래판매시설에 대한 지식과 기능의 영역에서 효과가 있었고, 참여디자인의 결과에 높은 만족감과 공동 작업의 중요성을 느끼는 것으로 나타났으며, 운영과정에서는 농촌의 현장특성에 맞게 프로그램의 충분한 일정계획 마련과 원활한 디자인 작업을 위한 환경조성이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

일부 보건소 내소 여성의 유방자가검진과 유방암 검진의 관련요인 (The Behavioral and Educational Factors Affecting the Breast Self-examination and Breast Cancer Screening)

  • The purpose of this research was to find out plans to promote the fulfillment of the breast self-examination and breast cancer screening, which is preventive health behavior about women's having breast cancer exam in some part of our country with searching for the primary causes which have an effect on their fulfillment. The subjects of the study were 540 literate volunteers who were of age from 20 to 69 and who visited 8 health centers in Taegu. The survey research was made through questionares in the 8 health centers in Taegu from the 15th to the 30th of September, 1998. Based on Becker's health belief model asking medical staff's opinions with bibliographies, the major findings from the survey was as follow. The fulfillment rate of the breast self-examination and the breast cancer screening was 37.8%(204 subjects), 27.6% (149 subjects) each. Getting breast self-exam varied significantly depending on subject's age, income of family, religion, occupation and the number of children. As far as the breast cancer screening was concerned, there was remarkably significant difference in accordance with their age, marital status, religion, occupation, income of family, the number of children, ways of nursing and parturition age of the first baby. The subjects in their forties accounted for the highest rate. Based on the fulfillment of the breast self-examination and the breast cancer screening, the average points of all the variables presented from the health belief as well as the points of the susceptibility, seriousness, benefits, knowledge and level of health concern of interest in health were significantly higher than the points of non-fulfillment of them in the statistical analysis whereas the barriers was lower than them. In consequence of the multiple-logistic regression analysis putting the breast self-examination and the breast cancer screening in dependent variables, occupation, knowledge, seriousness, benefits, barriers and cues to action had significant effects on breast self-examination against breast cancer. Looking more attainments, thinking diseases more seriously, feeling more usefulness and there being any patient around with breast cancer led to the higher rate of the breast self-examination against it. On the other hand, feeling more impedition as well as housewives caused the lower rate of it. The breast cancer screening was significantly affected by age, sensitivity, usefulness, impedition and behavior momentum as well. The cases who are older, feeling more sensitivity against breast cancer, more usefulness of the examination and where any patient around, the fulfillment rate was higher. Contrarily the more impedition they felt, the lower the fulfillment rate was. Accordingly, the study of the causes, which have significant effects on the fulfillment of the self-examination and the breast cancer screening in order to find it in an early stage, and the development of health education programs as well as proper education for public health through carrying on campaigns and stepping up public relations must be indispensable.

IT 탐색 및 활용 역량이 조직 민첩성에 미치는 영향: 국내 중소 물류기업을 대상으로 한 실증 연구 (Impact of IT Exploration & Exploitation Capability upon Organizational Agility: Evidence from Small and Medium Sized Logistics Firms in South Korea)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 IT 탐색 및 활용 역량과 운영기술 역량이 조직 민첩성에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하는 것이다. 최근 경쟁이 심화되고 정보기술의 급격한 변화로 고충을 겪고 있는 국내 중소 물류기업을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. IT 탐색 및 활용 역량과 조직 민첩성에 관련된 선행연구들을 바탕으로 이론적으로 인정을 받은 기존 연구 모형을 본 연구에 맞게 수정하여 채택하였고 이에 따라 연구 가설을 제시하였다. 실증적인 연구방법을 채택하여 2018년 국내 중소물류기업들로부터 설문지를 회수하였고 설문 데이터의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하고, 연구 가설을 검정하였다. 연구결과는 IT 탐색 및 활용 역량이 운영기술 역량을 강화하고 다시 운영기술 역량이 조직 민첩성을 향상시킨다는 결론을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 기존 문헌을 바탕으로 제시된 연구 모형이 최근 시점에서도 여전히 유효한지를 확인하였고 그 이론이 국내 중소 물류기업에도 적용된다는 점을 확인함으로써 IT 탐색 및 활용 역량과 조직 민첩성에 관련된 연구의 일반화에 기여했다는 점에서 공헌을 찾을 수 있다. 실무적으로는 국내 물류 중소기업의 조직 민첩성을 향상시키기 위하여 새로운 정보기술을 탐색하고 이미 도입한 정보기술을 잘 활용하는 두가지 노력이 병행되어야 한다는 점에서 기업의 실무 담당자들과 물류산업을 활성화하려는 정부 정책 담당자들에게 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

초등학생의 디지털·AI 리터러시 함양을 위한 컴퓨팅 사고력 기반 교수·학습 전략 개발 (Development of Digital and AI Teaching-learning Strategies Based on Computational Thinking for Enhancing Digital Literacy and AI Literacy of Elementary School Student)

  • 인공지능, 빅데이터, 생명과학 산업 등이 선도하는 지식정보사회의 물결이 우리 삶의 방식에 전방위적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 이에 교육부는 미래사회 변화에 대응할 수 있는 기초소양과 역량을 함양할 수 있는 교육과정 개선을 추진하며 AI·소프트웨어 교육을 비롯한 디지털 기초소양 강화를 서두르고 있다. 모든 교과교육을 통해 디지털 기초소양 함양의 기반을 마련하고 정보 교육과정과 연계한 AI 등 신기술분야의 기초 및 심화 학습을 내실화하는 것은 미래사회에 대비한 교육으로서 반드시 필요한 부분이라 볼 수 있다. 하지만 디지털·AI 리터러시 함양을 위한 각각의 내용에 대한 연구는 비교적 활발히 이루어지고 있는 반면 디지털·AI 리터러시를 함양할 수 있는 교수·학습 전략에 대한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 디지털·AI 리터러시를 키워줄 수 있는 컴퓨팅 사고력(CT) 기반의 디지털·AI 교수·학습 전략을 개발하여 델파이 전문가 검증을 실시한 결과 타당함으로 분석되었고, 이를 바탕으로 교수자 사용성 평가 및 학습자 효과성 분석을 진행한 후 최종 교수·학습 전략을 완성하였다.
