In this paper, we propose a new approach to sequential linear regression adaptation of continuous density hidden Markov models (CDHMMs) based on transformation space model (TSM). The proposed TSM which characterizes the a priori knowledge of the training speakers associated with maximum likelihood linear regression (MLLR) matrix parameters is effectively described in terms of the latent variable models. The TSM provides various sources of information such as the correlation information, the prior distribution, and the prior knowledge of the regression parameters that are very useful for rapid adaptation. The quasi-Bayes (QB) estimation algorithm is formulated to incrementally update the hyperparameters of the TSM and regression matrices simultaneously. Experimental results showed that the proposed TSM approach is better than that of the conventional quasi-Bayes linear regression (QBLR) algorithm for a small amount of adaptation data.
Multiple rotation-based transformation (MRBT) was introduced recently for mitigating the apriori-knowledge independent component analysis (AK-ICA) attack on rotation-based transformation (RBT), which is used for privacy-preserving data clustering. MRBT is shown to mitigate the AK-ICA attack but at the expense of data utility by not enabling conventional clustering. In this paper, we extend the MRBT scheme and introduce an augmented rotation-based transformation (ARBT) scheme that utilizes linearity of transformation and that both mitigates the AK-ICA attack and enables conventional clustering on data subsets transformed using the MRBT. In order to demonstrate the computational feasibility aspect of ARBT along with RBT and MRBT, we develop a toolkit and use it to empirically compare the different schemes of privacy-preserving data clustering based on data transformation in terms of their overhead and privacy.

We propose utilizing a fuzzy cognitive map(FCM) to integrate tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge both of which are crucial to the success of knowledge management. Recently, explicit knowledge is getting more available as CRM and data mining approaches become popular as the advent of using database and the Internet technology. However, for the knowledge management to be successful, tacit knowledge should be seamlessly integrated with explicit knowledge seamlessly. The problem hindering such effort is how to find a vehicle facilitating transformation of explicit knowledge into tacit knowledge, and vice versa. FCM has been important method for representing tacit knowledge as a form of explict knowledge. In this respect, we suggest the detailed process about how to integrate explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge by using FCM. We gathered extensive set of data from the credit card company, and applied our proposed method. Results showed that our approach is robust and promising for the field of integrating two different kinds of knowledge.

This research explores and develops digital transformation factors influencing the logistics service-provider sector in Thailand while also examining the impact sustainability factors associated with digital transformation. Divided into two parts, Part one of the theoretical study framework covers 21 factors relating to logistics, including drivers, objectives, implications, and success factors. The second part concerns 23 factors associated with logistics sustainability, including economic, environmental, and social aspects. This quantitative empirical research was conducted using an online questionnaire instrument, and a structural equation modeling (SEM) technique was used to test the proposed model. The findings from 545 samples collected between August and November 2020 from respondents working in logistics service-provider companies in Thailand show that digital transformation drivers and objectives seem likely to impact success factors and implications in digital transformation positively. Digital transformation success factors also positively impact logistics sustainability. In comparison, logistics sustainability has a significant impact on Thailand's logistics service-provider sector's economic, environmental, and social aspects. Lastly, this research highlights the significance of digital transformation success factors and extends the current knowledge about digital transformation factors and their potential impact on logistics sustainability.
The purpose of this study was to introduce the Knowledge Quartet (KQ) framework by which we can analyze teacher knowledge revealed in teaching mathematics. Specifically, this paper addressed how the KQ framework has been developed and employed in the context of research on teacher knowledge. In order to make the framework accessible, this paper analyzed an elementary school teacher's knowledge in teaching her fifth grade students how to figure out the area of a trapezoid using the four dimensions of the KQ (i.e., foundation, transformation, connection, and contingency). This paper is expected to provide mathematics educators with a basis of understanding the nature of teacher knowledge in teaching mathematics and to induce further detailed analyses of teacher knowledge using some dimensions of the KQ framework.
It is the development of a mathematics teachers' teaching knowledge that manifests a mathematics teacher's professional knowledge growth. It is becoming a direct and effective approach of conversion of mathematical knowledge into the knowledge of mathematics teaching. Through the investigation, the study revealed that the knowledge conversion process of mathematics teachers in middle school is restricted by three aspects including eight factors. From this point, the authors have structured the path and model on influencing factors of middle school Mathematics Teaching Knowledge Conversion (MPCK), and discuss the mechanism of the transformation process.

Ganglioneuromas are benign tumors. Surgical excision is the treatment of choice with very good prognosis. However, neuroblastomatous malignant transformation of ganglioneuromas was previously reported. We report a patient with spinal neuroblastoma recurrent from a ganglioneuroblastoma after disease free survival of 13 years. This is one of the rare examples of spinal neuroblastoma and to our knowledge the second case report with malignant transformation from a ganglioneuroblastoma or a ganglioneuroma. The present case is the only report in the literature with further genetic investigations.
