Although knowledge transfer between two different parties occurs in IS development projects, the majority of prior studies focused on knowledge transfer from IT consultants to clients. Considering two parts of knowledge transfer in IS development projects, we must consider both 'where knowledge is transferred from' and 'where it is transferred to'. Therefore, in this study, we attempt to describe two different routes of knowledge transfer, such as knowledge transfer from an IT consultant to a client and knowledge transfer from a client to an IT consultant. In this regard, we have examined the effect of two different routes of knowledge transfer on system implementation success in IS development project. Specifically, we adopted the knowledge stock-flow theory to examine the causal relationship between IT consulting firms and clients in terms of knowledge transfer and eventual system implementation success. Survey data collected from 213 pairs of individuals (both clients and IT consultants) were used to test the model using three different analytic approaches such as PLS (partial least squares) and two types of mediated regression techniques. We found that knowledge transfers partially mediated both the relationships between IT consultants' IT skills (project members' business knowledge) and system implementation success. Furthermore, the effects of each knowledge transfer were distinguished by depending on the types of system, such as ERP or groupware. Our attempts have significant implications for both research and practice given the importance of effective knowledge transfer to IT consulting.

The purpose of this study is to review the relationship between managerial system and incremental innovation, and the mediating effect of knowledge transfer in small business. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data were gathered and analysed from 255 enterprise managers in western Kangwon-do province. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, CEO's support and education/training appeared to be positively related with knowledge transfer. Second, managerial system and knowledge transfer appeared to be positively related with incremental innovation. Third, knowledge transfer had mediating effect on the relationships of CEO's support-incremental innovation and education/training-incremental innovation.

암묵지는 전이를 통해 증식되며, 가치 또한 증대된다. 암묵지 전이는 조직의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 가장 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 암묵지 전이가 매우 중요함에도 불구하고, 암묵지 전이는 활발히 이루어지지 못하고 있다. 암묵지 전이를 방해하는 장벽이 암묵지 전이를 저해하고 있기 때문이다. 암묵지 전이를 방해하는 장벽은 지식과 지식전문가에 대한 이해부족, 업무 가중 및 미흡한 보상, 신뢰부족과 지식 접착성(Knowledge Stickiness)이다. 암묵지 전이의 장벽을 극복하기 위해서는 암묵지 지식전이를 주도적으로 추진하는 대리인이 필요하다. 지식중개자는 암묵지 전이를 위한 근간이며, 효율적인 지식네트워크의 구축은 암묵지 전이를 위한 핵심성공요소이다. 그러나 지식네트워크 관련된 대부분의 연구는 네트워크의 근접성과 밀도, 중심성 등 기초지표를 활용하는 수준에 머무르고 있다. 암묵지 전이 활성화를 위한 새로운 지식중개인 진단 프레임워크가 필요하다. 따라서 사회연결망분석을 기반으로 조직관점 및 지식근로자관점의 암묵지 전이를 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 BSKT 구축안을 제시하고자 한다.

Technology transfer from universities and research institutes to industries is recognized as a critical issue to strengthen industrial competitiveness, and the roles of technology transfer intermediaries are becoming one of the most important factors for successful technology transfer In today's global and knowledge-based economies, technology transfer services are started shifting to Internet and vertical transfer of technology from R&D labs to industries is becoming more emphasized than horizontal company-to-company transfer of commercialized technology. And the need of comprehensive technology transfer services necessitates cooperation among technology transfer intermediaries and networks offering complementary services. In order to respond to these changes, it is required to construct a new type of technology transfer system. But there are few researches on technology transfer system configuration for design and realization of technology transfer intermediaries. This paper presents the configuration models of technology transfer from universities and research institutes to industries. The configuration models are classified and described from the viewpoint of flows of information, technology and knowledge.

The CAD/CAM System for deep drawing transfer die in mechanical press proess has been developed. The developed CAD system can generate the drawing of drawing of transfer die in mechanical press. Using these results from CAD system, it can generate the NC data to machine die's elements on the CAD system. This system can reduce design man-hours and human errors. In order to construct the system, it is used to automate the design process using knowledge base system. The developed system is based on the knowledge base system which is involved a lot of expert's technology in the practice filed. Using AutoLISP language under the AutoCAD system, CTK customer language of SmartCAM is used as the overall CAD/CAM environment. Results of this system will be provide effective aids to the designer and mannufacturer in this field.

본 연구는 사회 정치적 관점에서 조직 내 지식이전에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색함으로써 지식 이전 프로세스를 설명하고자 한다. 지식의 흐름은 다양한 이해관계에 있는 개인과 집단 안에서 발생한다. 따라서 지식 이전 프로세스는 조직 내의 정치적 성향과 다양한 사회적 네트워크에 따라 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 연구는 사회정치학에서 이용되고 있는 조직 정치 이론과 사회적 네트워크 이론을 이용하여 지식 경영 프로세스에 미치는 영향에 대해서 연구하였다. 그 결과, 본 연구에서는 지식 이전 프로세스에 있어 조직 정치 성향과 사회적 네트워크관계인 내집단과 외집단 강도에 상호 유의한 의미가 있고 사회 네트워크가 지식 이전에 영향을 미치는 것을 실증적으로 발견하였다. 이뿐만 아니라 지식관리시스템이 조직 정치 성향에 따른 내집단 간의 관계 강화라는 부정적 효과를 상쇄하는 조절효과가 있음을 실증적으로 입증하였다.

본 연구는 지식정보를 활용하고 지원할 수 있는 기술가치평가 시스템의 개발에 관한 것이다. 정형화된 특허정보와 기술에 의한 제품시장정보를 제공함으로써 기술의 잠재사업이익 추정을 지원하며, 산업특성 및 기술혁신단계를 분석하여 기술기여도를 산출하고, 실물옵션법을 이용하여 최종 기술가치를 산출하는 단계로 개발된 기술가치평가 시스템을 소개하였다.

This study focuses on the knowledge-transfer activities of Korean universities at the organisational level. Considering the idiosyncratic characteristics of the Korean university system, as well as those of universities in other recently developed Asian countries experienced a rapid economic catch-up, this study is more interested in the relationship between the scientific capacity of universities and their knowledge-transfer activities, and between universities' funding sources and their knowledge-transfer activities. According to the results of the study, scientific capacity in a specific discipline, such as engineering, is important for universities in both other developed countries and in Korea, while scientific capacity (regardless of the discipline) is apparently not important for Korean universities, particularly in the area of domestic publication. Furthermore, this result supports the proposition suggested that strategically chosen industrial sectors in rapid catch-up countries are closely related to the scientific capacity of universities in specific disciplines. In terms of funding sources, the amount of funding from industry is strongly related to the knowledge-transfer activities of universities, whereas the proportion of funding from industry relative to the total amount of funding is not as significantly related to knowledge-transfer activities. The failure to identify a significant relationship between central government funding and knowledge-transfer activities may be due to less strict requirements for commercialisation in central government R&D programmes. Otherwise, central government funding fails to generate meaningful knowledge-transfer activities in universities.

This paper reviewed the relationship between information technology system and knowledge management activities, and the moderating effect of industrial type. The results of multiple regression analysis, based on the responses from 219 employees in manufacturing and financing service sector, showed that information technology infrastructure and information technology usage have positive effects on knowledge acquisition, knowledge transfer, and knowledge usage. In moderating effects, information technology infrastructure more positively related with knowledge acquisition in financing service sector than in manufacturing sector. And also information technology usage more positively related with knowledge transfer in financing service sector than in manufacturing sector.

The purpose of this paper is to develop a CAD/CAM system for generation of designing and manufacturing information such as total drawing sub-assembly drawing, part drawing detail drawing part list and NC data for machining by CNC lathe were CUT machining center.
