Oriental medicine as a candidate for effective cancer treatment recently gain positive concerns in fields of therapeutic oncology. that is why some herbal medicines have been empirically safer in toxicity than anticancer drugs used in western medicine, and to show excellent therapeutic efficacy in human trial. Thus, these effects by clinically applied-herbs have not yet fully demonstrated in experimental tumor model. This study was initiated to evaluate the antitumor effect of Insambaekhaptang as candidate of antitumor-herbal agent against B16 melanoma metastasized into C57BL/6 mice lung. In experiment to test whether Insambaekhaptang can directly kill cancer cells in vitro or not, Insambaekhaptang showed direct killing action in concentration or higher against B16 melanoma cells using MTT assay, and showed lower IC50. Another experiment to know whether Insambaekhaptang can inhibit growth and metastasis of cancer cell or not, Insambaekhaptang significantly inhibited Solid tumor by intraperiperal injected-melanoma and lung metastasis induced by intravenous injected-melanoma in inbred C57BL/6 mice. When quantitative survival time increasing, we could obtain results that increased 113% in treated by Insambaekhaptang. These results show that Insambaekhaptang can inhibit growth of B16 melanoma cells through various biological mechanisms.
There is a big attention to digital convergence products(DCP) nowadays. However, consumers' response on the DCP is not always positive. These products may not match consumers' value and consumers may not know how to use them, because the DCP is generally innovative products. DCP marketers should learn that why consumers do not purchase them. Thus, this paper examines and identifies the consumers' purchase-avoiding psychological factors and antecedents on DCP. In detail, It is empirically checked that how the relationship between purchase-preventing factors such as complexity, incongruence, uncertainty, and unreasonability and purchase-avoiding psychological factors such as dissonance, innovation resistence, and perceived loss is. Also, these purchase-avoiding psychological factors' influence on the purchase-intention is empirically checked. As results, complexity and incongruence have an effect on the innovation resistence significantly. Uncertainty and unreasonability influence perceived loss variable. Unreasonability also influences consumers' cognitive dissonance variable. Additionally, cognitive dissonance have an influence on innovation resistence positively, and such innovation resistence influence consumer's purchase-intention negatively. Therefore, marketers should think twice about the roles of these purchase-preventing factors before launching.

We Korean geographers have been interesting merely in research trends and models which induced in more advanced societies. We unconcerned with the models were painfully acquired through many field surveys and accumulated researches. Approaches to the generalization without accumulating experienced studies are just like 'building on the sand' and 'it is nothing but the paper'. We still need many field surveys, regional approaches and very basic researches for induced the Korean geographic models. In geography. 'where' is not main goal. 'Why and how' are the most important. We know these very much. But we do not recognize that 'what is where' in Korea, still now. We must have our own Korean spatial models. But geography is not build in a day and in one generation. It needs interdisciplinary or system approaches accompany with the other fields of sciences. We concern with the spatial principles and laws which were hidden by the complicated phenomena in real world.

Internally Korean insurance market is that whole life products' growth are becoming slowdown that's why new insurance products have appeared on the market in consideration of consumer's needs recently. Externally domestic insurance market competitions has drifted from insurance industry to whole financial industry since bankasurance started. Life insurance companies should open up a new market to survive from severe competitions. Worksite marketing can be an alternative. An insurer make arrangements with an employer about an insurance terms which an insurer offers in Worksite marketing. Then eligible individuals enroll in the plans at their own discretion and pay 100 percent of the premium for coverage through payroll deductions. An employer doesn't need to pay extra money for additional benefit but can raise employee's loyalty and satisfaction of company through worksite marketing. An employee can be covered at discounted premium rate and less strict underwriting guidelines to an insurer compared to individual insurance. In developed countries specially U.S insurance market, Worksite marketing is getting very popular and growing rapidly due to the advantages. Worksite marketing has both individual insurance characters and group insurance characters. Individual insurance characters are that employees enroll in the plans at their own discretion and pay 100 percent of the premium for coverage. Group insurance characters are that actively at work and participation etc. An insurer have to reflect these two characters on Worksite marketing when an insurance company work out a plan for developing products and underwriting guidelines. When an insurer devise worksite products, one should consider participation level which means percentage of eligible employees participating. Participation is related to anti-selection. As we know underwriting is essential for every kind of insurance, especially underwriting plays major role in worksite marketing. We can see that in the below. Firstly, it has a function in calculation of premium rate. When calculate premium rate for worksite products underwriters have to estimate expected participation level and risk factors. So underwriters and acturies keep in close contact with each other. Secondly, underwriting methods are important. When an insurer underwrite worksite products, there are three kinds of underwriting methods. These are Simplified issue underwriting, Full underwriting and Guaranteed issue underwriting. Simplified issue underwriting typically requires no medical examination, but usually requires supplying satisfactory answers to one or several health and/or lifestyle questions. Full underwriting requires a complete medical history questionnaire that may further require an exam. Guaranteed issue underwriting means that coverage is issued without the employee having to provide evidence of insurability. When insurer set the GI limit are usually based on the type of industry, number of eligible employees, the average amount of coverage and participation level. In addition to insurer should have a clear definition of eligible employee on the insurance provision and application form. It will minimize possibility of trouble claims and anti-selection. An insurer also establish preexisting condition exclusion and special guidelines for late entrants. When an insurer introduce Worksite marketing to Korean insurance market, an insurer has to examine market research to analyze potential market and strategy of sales most of all. Also an insurer should review real situation of the U.S, England and Japanese market etc. There are a lot of new technologies about worksite marketing process that an insurer should learn. When an insurer consider many things which we explained it can be a real alternative.
As global climate changes, the interest in environmental crisis is increasing and a number of international agreements and regulations against this crisis are being established. Global information technology(IT) corporations are building their own pro-environmental green IT strategies to cope with the regulatory measures. Green IT broadly refers to pro-environmental technologies designed to replace hazardous materials, maximize energy effectivity, and find alternative energies. In the current stage of the IT industry development, Green IT specifically refers to the technologies that deal with the server heat generation and the energy reduction in data center. This study defines the concept of Green IT and reviews its origin and necessity. Then, it examines the issues regarding Green IT industry in Korea as well as other countries and compares the Green IT strategies developed in each country. Reviewing the recent development of IT and data center market enables us to see that overall Green IT strategies focus on the establishment of Green Internet Data Centers. Therefore, this study analyzes the cases in which some domestic and foreign corporations introduced Green Data Centers in order to examine the protocol and legal requirements for building Green IT, the aspects of environmental evaluation and design, and specific strategies for launching Green IT strategies and its future assignments. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, to introduce Green Data Center as a strategy to build Green IT, the government and corporations should cooperate with each other. Partial introduction at the initial stage is desirable because, through the process, mutual trust between the two parties can be built more smoothly. Second, CEO's determination to build Green IT and continue its operation is indispensable. CEO's are required to have clear understanding as to why Green IT needs to be built and how it should be constructed. Those who initiate the construction of Green Data Center for Green IT need to know the definition and necessity of Green IT while at the same time understanding the implicit meanings of Green IT. They also need to be aware of future-oriented values of Green Data Center and readjust their corporate business activities in the pro-environmental direction. Finally, not only the CEOs' pro-environmental activities but also the change of mind on the part of all corporate employees is required to realize Green IT. It should be remembered that pro-environmental Green IT starts with minor activities.
This study was carried out to know the insect fauna of turf grass area in forest. In Korea, graves and public cemetery in mountain areas are usually covered by turf grass which were mainly examined. There were 86 species belonging to 77 genera of 39 families in 11 orders. Among them, site 3 had highest occurrence (38%), second was site 2 (36%) and in the last place was site 1 (26%). Hemiptera revealed best species composition (29.1%) and came Coleoptera (19.8%), Orthoptera (15.1%), Lepidoptera (12.8%) and Odonata (5.8%) etc. The reason why Hemiptera and Orthoptera are mainly found in these areas is because they usually feed on short plants that grow in there. Taxonomic species composition, occurrence ratio by site and species and comparison analysis were provided.

Objectives: Yearly, annual report of cancer patients in Korea is released by National Cancer Center. But, this report is focused in all of the patients in nation. So, there is needed to modify and analyze this report to be used properly for local resident. In Ulleung island, local county and Ulleung medical center don't have cancer occurrence data of local resident until now. The aim of this analysis is to know characteristics and data of cancer patients occurrence in Ulleung island for 10 years. Methods: We are offered data of cancer patients occurrence in Ulleung island for 10 years from National Cancer Center. This data was composed of sex, address (only town level), diagnosed date, diagnosis. So, we analyze this data and compare to Korea data for same duration. Results: There were 268 patients for 10 years (1993-2002). Man were 175 about 65% and women were 93 about 35%. There were 163 in Ulleungeup about 60%, 39 in Seomyun about 14.5% and 48 in Bukmyun about 18%. There were 19 patients in unknown residence. After 1998, above 30 patients were occurred, but before 1998, below 27 patients were occurred. Diagnosed date was concentrated in June, 33 patients were occurred about 12%, but least occurred month was December. Most occurred age were from 60 to 69, there were 80 patients about 30%. Most occurred cancer was gastric cancer, there were 54 patients about 20%. Hepatic cancer was second and third was lung cancer. In man, most occurred cancers were gastric cancer and hepatic cancer, both was 38 patients. In woman, gastric cancer and uterine cervix cancer were occurred mostly. After 2001, in Korea most occurred female cancer was breast, but in Ulleung island, most occurred cancer was stomach. Conclusions: Researcher should demand and analyze cancer data from National Cancer Center that cancer management project in local county and public health education of cancer could focus on local resident because annually released cancer data from National Cancer Center focus on a nation. In Ulleung island, cancer incidence was more than incidence in Korea and breast cancer was occurred less than in Korea. So, more study should be needed to confirm why more cancer were occurred than Korea and breast cancer was less occurred.

The purpose of this study is to propose strategies of puzzle-based learning for Informatics gifted education through analyzing Informatics gifted elementary students' computational problem solving approaches in puzzle-based learning contexts. Six types of educational puzzles, which are constraints, optimization, probability, statistically speaking, pattern recognition, and strategy, were used in teaching 14 Informatics gifted students for 8 sessions. The results of pre and post test and each students' answers were analyzed to identify why students were not able to solve the puzzles. We also analysed what essential computational strategies are needed to solve each type of puzzles, and what students did not know in solving puzzle problems. We identified some problems caused by puzzle representation methods, and various students' intuitions that disturb puzzle solving. Also, we identified essential computational strategies to solve puzzles: backtracking, dynamic programming, abstraction, modeling, and reduction of big problem. However, students had difficulties in applying these strategies to solve their puzzle problems. We proposed the revised puzzle-based learning strategies, which is based on the improved problem representation, just-in-time cognitive feedbacks, and web-based learning system.

Purpose. The purpose of this study was to investigate career awareness of the students majoring in optometry in Gyeongnam area so that it could be used as a database to educate them on their career. Methods. The graduates of the Department of Optometry in 6 universities of Gyeongnam area were surveyed through a questionnaire. Results. Most of their motive for entering Department of Optometry was for 'finding a job(38%), while at the time of entrance, most of them (55%) thought 'optician' as their job after graduation. Now most of them are the expectant graduate and they still think 'optician' as their job(54%). The biggest reason why they think of this career was 'aptitude(34%),' and most of them wanted their first monthly wage as less than '1.5 million won (46%).' For the desired work time, most of them said 'less than 10 hours a day (73%),' and they have been figured out to want '2 days off a week and monthly paid holiday (35%).' For the questions asking any improvements that are needed for department of Optometry, they (32%) answered 'equipments that are old or in short.' For the question asking if they are willing to choose optical task even if they entered a company that is irrelevant with it, most of them (37%) said they will if the conditions work, and the other 37% said they didn't know. Conclusions. The cooperation among universities and the field and their interest are required so that the students of the Department of Optometry would be able to work with pride as a professional to improve social welfare.
Most Social Network Service (SNS) provide online chat, video and file sharing, blogging and others. Because of this advantage, people depend on SNS to communicate with others. However, recently SNS encourage people to reveal too much information broadly so SNS users are concerned about privacy invasion and data spill. They also feel fatigue in process of touching people they don't know while using SNSs. That is the reason why they attempt to switch from opened SNS to Closed SNS. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to empirically investigate and analyze the effect of the factors on the SNS users' switching behavior when using SNS. To accomplish this purpose, this research adopted "Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM)" framework. The PPM is proposed by population geologist, who used it to explain the incentives of demographic migration. Following PPM model, this research empirically examines the three categories of antecedents for SNS switching intention toward closed SNS: push (i.e., weak connection, privacy concern, relative complexity), pull (i.e., enjoyment, belongingness, peer influence), mooring (i.e., SNS fatigue, user resistance) factors. The survey was conducted for 285 users on SNS communities in Korea. The results of this study are as follows; First, wear connection and privacy concern are significantly related to SNS switching intention. Second, enjoyment and belongingness are significantly related to SNS switching intention. Finally, the results show that SNS fatigue has a moderating effect on the links between push factors and SNS switching Intention. Also, user resistance has a moderating effect on the links between pull factors and SNS switching Intention. These findings contribute to the SNS literature both theoretically and practically.
