The purpose of this study is to determine the spatial and temporal resolutions that can represent land surface characteristics comprised of various land use using Landsat/AMSR2-based soil moisture data. We estimated the Landsat (30 m×30 m)-based soil moisture values using the soil moisture regression model. Then, the Landsat (30 m×30 m)-based soil moisture (reference values) were resampled to the relatively coarse resolutions from 1 km to 4 km, respectively. Comparing the reference values to the resampled soil moisture values, we confirmed that uncertainties were increased with the spatial resolutions of 2 km~4 km indicating that the spatial resolution of 1 km×1 km is required to represent the complicated land surface. Also, the AMSR2 soil moisture values have less uncertainties compared to SMAP data with the temporal resolution of 1~2 days. Thus, our findings can be useful for various areas such as agriculture, hydrology, forest, etc.
In this paper, interference effects between NGSO and HAPS in the feeder link have been simulated and analyzed by means of calculating excess time percent and duration below the ell protection ratio. As the results, in the case of HAPS interference into NGSO, it can be obtained that the lowest C/I values are 20.42dB in 50km and 12.73dB in 20km of HAPS altitudes, respectively. And in the case of NGSO interference into HAPS, it can be obtained that the lowest ell values are 13.94dB and 10.42dB respectively. HAPS system has more interference reception from other systems or effects more interference into other systems as its altitude is lower. Also, the lowest ell values are appeared at difference time with its altitude.

The gravity measurment has been carried out at 48 gravity stations with intervals of 1.0~1.5 km along the survey line between Samcheog, Gosari and Taebaek to study subsurface geology and geologic structure in the northeastern part of the Ockchon zone. The Bouguer gravity anomaly values were obtained from the measured gravity values through the gravity corrections. The subsurface geology and geologic structure were interpreted quantitatively by means of the Fourier series method and Talwani method for 2.5 dimensional body. In the study area, the depth of Conrad discontinuity is about 10 km at Samcheog, northeastern end of the survey line, and it is increased rapidly to about 12.5 km at Miro, 15 km at Gosari and 15.5 km at Dongjeom, southwestern end of the survey line, respectively. The depth of the basement of the Ockchon zone exposed at Samcheog is increased smoothly to about 2 km at 5 km from Samcheog along the survey line, and is exposed again in the area between Singiry and Gosari. Beyond Gosari its depth is increased to about 1.7 km, and displaced 2.3 km downward by Osipcheon fault near Dogyeri and 0.5 km by Baeksan thrust near Cheolam, respectively. Many V-shaped low Bouguer gravity anomalies resulted from the fracture zone associated with faults imply the existence of Osipcheon fault and several inferred faults. The low Bouguer gravity anomaly zone between Tongdong and Dongjeom is caused by Jurassic gneissose granite. A local high Bouguer gravity anomaly at 35 km along the survey line from Samcheog is interpreted by the effect of iron deposit of high density existed at subsurface. The thickness of Great Limestone Group varies from 0.5 km to 1.4 km, that of Pyeongan Supergroup from 0.4 km to 0.9 km, and that of Yangdeog Group is about 0.3 km. The thickness of Jurassic gneissose granite varies from 1.5 to 3.0 km.

The path loss data was re-calculated according to the distance between the base station and a mobile station in the mobile telecommunications network. In this paper, the averaged path loss data was plotted with the conventional path loss models(free space, plane earth, Hata model ${\ldots}$). The standard deviations for the 2 Km, 1 Km, 0.5 Km-interval averaged path loss were 2.29 dB, 3.39 dB, 4.75 dB, respectively. Additionally, the derivative values for the 2 Km, 1 Km, 0.5 Km-interval averaged path loss were evaluated to find the positions with more than 1 times or 2times of the standard deviation. The situations with the sharply fluctuated path loss were calculated to 5 positions in the 2 Km interval, to 7 positions in the 1 Km interval, to 19 positions in the 0.5 Km interval, respectively. And, the exact distances between the base station and a mobile station were found with the sharply fluctuated path loss.
This research investigates injury values and vehicle deformation for vehicle frontal crash compatibility. To investigate compatibility in an individual case, it is possible to impact two vehicles and evaluate the injury values and deformations in both vehicles. In this study, four tests were conducted to evaluate compatibility. A large and mini vehicle were subjected to a frontal car-to-car crash test at a speed of 48.3 km/h with an offset of 40%. An inclination car-to-car crash test using the large and small vehicle were conducted at 30 km/h at a $30^{\circ}$ angle. The results of the 48.3 km/h, car-to-car frontal crash revealed extremely high injury values on the chest and upper leg of the Hybrid III 50% driver dummy with seatbelt in the mini vehicle compared to the large vehicle. For the 30 km/h, car-to-car inclination crash, however, injury values in the small vehicle were 1.5 times higher compared to the large vehicle.

Continuous measurements of the extinction coefficient( $b_{ext}$ ) and scattering coefficient due to Particle( $b_{sp}$ ) were made during the fall 1993 in Seoul along with the measurements of the size distribution, ionic composition of particles. On the average, $b_{sp}$ values are 55% and 79% of $b_{ext}$ values during the clear and smoggy Periods respectively. Also the average values of $b_{ext}$ and $b_{sp}$ were 0.791$\times$10$^{-3}$$m^{-1}$ (visual range 4.9km) and 0.628$\times$10$^{-3}$$m^{-1}$ (visual range 6.2km) during the smoggy Period, and 0.297$\times$10$^{-3}$$m^{-1}$ (visual range 13.1km) and 0.164$\times$10$^{-3}$$m^{-1}$ (visual range 23.8km) during the clear period, respectively. The Peak at about 1${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ of the Particle size distribution during the smoggy period is about four times higher than that during the clear period while the peaks at about 5${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ during both periods are similar. Also, the concentrations of sulfate and nitrate at about 1${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ during the smoggy Period are much higher than these during the clear Period.eriod.
Two forms of homo serine dehydrogenase have been isolated from 8-day-old cotyledons of Canavalin lineata by a heat denaturation, ammonium sulfate fractionation, DEAE-8ephacel ion exchange and Sephacryl 8-300 gel filtration chromatographies, and Pro cion red dye, Cibacron blue dye and Resource Q column chromatographies. The molecular weights of T -form (threonine-sensitive) and K-form(threonine- insensitive) were estimated to 230 kD and 135 kD, respectively. In the presence of 10 mM threonine, the activity of T-form was inhibited with almost 70%, but that of K-form was not at all. The Km values tor homo serine of T- and Kform were 1.6 mM and 0.3 mM, respectively. The Km values for NAD of T- and K-form were 2.34 mM and 0.03 mM, respectively. And Km values for NADP of two isozymes were the same as 0.01 mM. The activities of T- and K-form were markedly stimulated up to 4.9and 2.8-fold, respectively, by 400 mM KCI. The partial purified(gel filtration) enzymes(Tform and K-form) can be reversibly converted.verted.
In this study we have studied running stability, safety and passenger comfort of the Chinese first class passenger car made by our company and CCRW. A fine analysis model of 72 d.o.f. was constructed for simulating dynamic behavior of the car on straight and curved tracks having irregularity configurations. We have calculated the various characteristic values such as critical speed, lateral force, derailment ratio, wheel unloading ratio and passenger comfort index, then evaluated them by comparing with reference values.

It was confirmed that the fish diversity decreased with increasing index of weir's density (IWD) in the four river systems. The IWD showed difference with watershed, it was high in the Nakdong River (NDR). Both two river systems of Gum River (GUR) and Yeongsan River (YSR) were similar, whereas relatively lower density observed in the Han River (HNR) system. A result of 2-Dimensional Kolmogorov-Smirnov (2-DKS) as a nonparametic test showed different threshold values affecting fish diversity with the river systems. The p-values based on Dmax, were significantly different at 0.05 level (except for YSR). The threshold values affecting fish diversity were also different with watershed. The values were 1.6/km of the HNR, 1.3/km of the NDR, and 2.3/km of the GUR, respectively. The fish diversity was decreased when IWD is over threshold values. The IWD of total 404 rivers (about 33%) among 1,217 surveyed in this study showed above threshold value. These rivers should be considered first for evaluating river continuity. The IWD and threshold value suggested in this study would be useful for selecting a stream priority for river connectivity study.
