In a social environment where population aging is rapidly progressing, the healthcare service market is growing fast with the increasing interest in health and quality of life based on rising income levels and the evolution of technology. In this study, after keywords were extracted from Korean and US patent data published on KIPRIS from 2000 to October 2019, frequency analysis, time series analysis, and keyword network analysis were performed. Through this, the change of technology trends were identified, which keywords related to healthcare was shifted from traditional medical words to ICT words. In addition, although the keywords in Korean patents are 55% similar to those in the US, they show an absolute gap in patent production volume. In the next study, we will analyze various data such as domestic and international research and can obtain meaningful implications in the global market on the identified keywords.

The aim of this study is to examine the research trends of global scientific production of Geospatial Information (GI) papers from 1998 to 2013 by using keyword network analysis. This study constructed keyword network model through papers and keywords related to GI research retrieved from the Web of Science DB and performed keyword network analysis such as Degree Centrality, Betweenness Centrality, and Closeness Centrality. The results show that GI has been steadily applied to various fields, and also the research trends of GI techniques could be quantitatively characterized through keyword network analysis. This study result can be applied to establish the policies and the national R&D planning of geospatial information.

The purpose of this study is to explore the research trends and knowledge structures of 『Journal of Elementary Mathematics Education in Korea』 by applying the keyword network analysis. To do this, we analyzed the frequency of the occurrence of keywords in the journal and conducted keyword network analysis using the Krkwic program and NodeXL program. The results of the analysis are as follows. Firstly, 749 keywords were extracted from keyword cleansing process and 48 keywords, including mathematics curriculum, mathematics textbooks, school mathematics, mathematical problem solving, mathematically gifted student, etc. appeared more than five times. Secondly, the keyword network analysis showed that the keywords-mathematics textbooks, school mathematics, mathematical problem solving, mathematical communications-have high connection centrality. Finally, we provided the limitations of this study and suggested future research.

In various research fields, it is important to identify the trends and meaningful patterns in large volumes of text data. We examined the research trends and patterns in global journal articles related to aviation and airlines from 1997 to 2016 using keyword network analysis. Keyword network models were constructed, and centrality (degree and betweenness) analysis was performed using 25,959 articles from the Scopus database. The results suggested that the recent research trends in aviation and airlines could be quantitatively described through keyword network analysis. The engineering and social science fields were the most relevant fields with keywords related to aviation and airlines. In addition, it was shown that betweenness centrality increased with the degree centrality of keywords. The results of this study could be applied to establish policies and suggest further research topics in the field of aviation and airlines based on empirical data.

This research was conducted on 176 GVCs-related research papers listed in the Index of Korean Academic Writers. The analysis methodology used the keyword network analysis methodology of big data analysis. For the comprehensive analysis of research trends, the research trends through word frequency (TF), important topic (TF-IDF), and topical modeling were analyzed in 176 papers. In addition, the research period of GVCs was divided into the early stages of the first study (2003-2014), the second phase of the study (2015-2017), and the third phase of the study (2018-2020). According to the comprehensive analysis, the GVCs research was conducted with the keyword 'value added' as the center, focusing on the keywords of export (trade), Korea, business, influence, and production. Major research topics were 'supporting corporate cooperation and capacity building' and 'comparative advantage with added value of overseas direct investment'. According to the analysis of major period-specific research trends, GVCs were studied in the early stages of the first phase of the study with global value chain trends and corporate production strategies. In the second research propulsion period, research was done in terms of trade value added. In the recent third phase of the study, small and medium-sized enterprises actively participated in the global value chain and actively researched ways to support the government. Through this study, the importance of the global value chain has been confirmed quantitatively and qualitatively, and it is recognized as an important factor to be considered in the strategy of enhancing industrial competitiveness and entering overseas markets. In particular, small and medium-sized companies' participation in the global value chain and support measures are being presented as important research topics in the future.

The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of researches that have been conducted for the last 20 years through analyzing global research trends and evolutions of design articles from 1999 to 2018 with keyword network analysis. For this purpose, we selected 3,569 articles in 22 journals related to design research retrieved from the Scopus database and constructed keyword network model through the author keyword and index keyword. The frequency of the author and index keyword, the centrality of betweenness and degree were analyzed with the keyword network. The results show that design has been applied to various fields for recent 20 years, and the research trends of design could be quantitatively characterized by keyword network analysis. The result of this study could be used to suggest future research topics in the field of design based on quantitative and empirical data.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze research trends, using the keyword home health care, in articles published in the Journal of Korean Academic Society of Home Health Care Nursing over the past 10 years. Methods: An analysis was conducted of 50 home health care-based studies chosen from among the 206 studies published in the Journal of Korean Academic Society of Home Health Care Nursing from 2010 to 2019. The analysis focused on research methodology and keyword. Descriptive statistics were used to examine the frequency distribution of research methods and keywords. Results: Study participation was mainly focused on nurses (52.0%). Most of the studies used quantitative methods (96.0%), and 43 studies (86.0%) used self-report structured questionnaires. The most commonly used data analyses methods were descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, correlation, and regression. Major keywords were home health nursing, elderly care facility, visiting nurse, home care service, home healthcare nurse, home care agencies, long-term care, and home care. Conclusion: The results of this study identified current trends and interests in the Journal of Korean Academic Society of Home Health Care Nursing. This study suggests that future studies include a variety of research methods and maintain appropriate standards of research ethics.

This article aims to explore and discuss research trends in global cruise industry using keyword network analysis. We visualize keyword networks in each of four groups of 1982-1999, 2000-2004, 2005-2009, 2010-2014 based on the top 20 keyword nodes' degree centrality and betweenness centrality which are selected among four centrality measurements, comparing them with frequency order. The article shows that keyword frequency collected from 240 articles published in international journals is subject to Zipf's law and nodes degree distribution also exhibits power law. We try to find out research trends in global cruise industry to change some important keywords diachronically, visualizing several networks focusing on the top two keywords, cruise and tourism, belonging to all the four year groups, with high degree and betweenness centrality values. Interestingly enough, a new node, China, connecting the top most keywords, appears in the most recent period of 2010-2014 when China has emerged as one of the rapid development countries in global cruise industry. Therefore keyword network analysis used in this article will be useful to understand research trends in global cruise industry because of increase and decrease of numbers of network types in different year groups and the visual connection between important nodes in giant components.

Based on this study, the research trends were identified for the field of public libraries in Korea by utilizing the keyword network analysis. For 20 years from 2003 to 2022, a total of 752 papers related to the public libraries published in the four largest academic journals in the field of library and information science in Korea were analyzed. The research results are as follows. First, from 2003 to 2022, an annual average of 37.6 papers were published, demonstrating a pattern of repeated rise and fall. Second, the keywords of 'service' and 'culture' were identified as the most discussed keywords as they were found to be among the top five in terms of the frequency of occurrence, connection centrality, and the mediation centrality analysis results. Third, in terms of the results of analyzing the co-occurrence frequency of keyword pairs, attention was paid to the keyword pairs of education-program, service-user, service-children, and service-disability.

Purpose : This study aimed to analyze research trends in the field of integrative medicine through a bibliometric analysis of articles published in Integrative Medicine Research (IMR) journal from 2017 to 2022. Methods : Articles published in IMR journal between 2017 and 2022 were searched using the Web of Science database on August 22, 2023. The analysis was performed using the Bibliometrix and Biblioshiny tools in R (version 4.3.1) and VOSviewer (version 1.6.19). Results : The key findings were as follows: average citations per article (9.41), total authors (1,142), single-authored articles (12), average articles per author (0.27), average co-authors per article (5.27), and rate of international co-authorships (15.69 %). The most-cited article was on the cryopreservation of cells or tissues and their clinical applications. The top keyword analysis by author keywords showed that "acupuncture" was the most frequently used keyword (33 times). Co-occurrence network analysis showed 85 high-frequency keywords that appeared five or more times, and the top five keywords by total link strength were "acupuncture," "herbal medicine," "prevalence," "alternative medicine," and "complementary." The study found that, contrary to the trend in complementary and alternative medicine research in Korea, the IMR journal actively conducts intervention studies to provide clinical evidence. Conclusion : In the IMR journal, "acupuncture" was the most frequent of author keywords. The analysis of keyword trend topics over time showed that the keyword "systematic review" continued to appear from 2020 to 2022, and the keyword "clinical practice guideline" appeared for the first time in 2021. In particular, the co-occurrence network analysis highlighted keywords related to intervention research, in contrast to domestic research trends. While this study analyzed only one journal, future studies expanding the category of integrative medicine and increasing the number of journals analyzed may provide further insights.
