  • This paper proposes a unified high-frequency bipolar buck-boost (UHFBB) control strategy for a dual-active-bridge (DAB), which is derived from the classical buck and boost DC/DC converter. It can achieve optimized current stress of the switches and soft switching in wider range. The UHFBB control strategy includes multi-control-variables, which can be achieved according to an algorithm derived from an accurate mathematical model. The design method for the parameters, such as the transformer turns ratio and the inductance, are shown. The current stress of the switches is analyzed for selecting an optimal inductor. The analysis is verified by the experimental results within a 500W prototype.

  • Feminist artists are special in Chinese modern art. Sticking to their own artistic ideas, they constantly emphasize women's psychological characteristics and aesthetic values in their works under the background of modern society. Since feminism was introduced into China from western arts in the 1970s, it has greatly inspired Chinese female artists. This study used comparative analysis and correlation analysis to establish the connection between the works of local Chinese female artists and modern women's wear design, this connection is the common language form of Chinese female artists and modern fashion designers when expressing female psychology and aesthetics. This is a way for Chinese female artists to seek dialogue with Western and global female art, and the development characteristics of the localization of feminism in Chinese art and design. The significance of the research is to improve the international artistic atmosphere of Chinese feminist art and instill a new understanding of Chinese feminist art in the world.

  • This paper is a preliminary study of architectural characteristics of Jangdae (general's podium), which shows one of the technical changes in fortification of Joseon Dynasty. As a facility for commands of generals and training for officers and men, it was located inside a fortress. Although it is not certain when the first Jangdae was built, the number of them dramatically increased around 18th century. Since the top priority function of the Jangdae was the prospect, it was installed at the hilly spot with open architecture. In addition, the open structure of Eupseong fortress towers on the riverside banks could simultaneously offer the functions as viewing around and Jangdae. Since Jangdae was also a place for military drills and reviews of soldiers, a wide podium was positioned at the front to muster the soldiers. This feature was standardized in the space organization of Jangdae in Joseon, and a mere podium was installed unless the topographic restrictions allows enough space. On the other hand, as a place for a commander, the hierarchy of the Jangdae was revealed through a variety of architectural characteristics. The hierarchy was assigned to the commander's space through the altitude difference, and diverse ornaments were added to show a sense of class. The floor plan of the Jangdae building can be largely categorized into rectangle and square, and the typical sizes of the former are $5{\times}4$ Kans (traditional measuring unit between two columns) and $3{\times}2$ Kans. Out of these two types, buildings of $5{\times}4$ Kans were found in flat land and eupseong fortresses with large space, and the relatively smaller ones of $3{\times}2$ Kans in mountain fortresses. All buildings of square floor plan had $3{\times}3$ Kans style, and the center Kan was twice wider than the side Kan to make the central space wide. It seems that the purpose was to secure the interior space of the upper story because the center Kan accounts for the floor area of the upper story. Some Jangdae's had internal story to form overhead space. The multi-roofed tower style with eaves attached to the upper and lower story is found exclusively in Jangdae. The buildings shows the Onkanmulim style which extends Naejinju (inner column) of the lower story to be the Byeonju (outer column) of the upper story, and the log-framed floor in the upper floor was structured by inserting the Changbang (connecting beam) between the Naejinju's and joining the log frames. In addition, the towers in eupseong fortresses had log-framed floor in the upper floor by setting up the high Nuhaju (column underneath a roof) and joining Cheongbang to the upper part of the column while it cannot be regarded as multi-roofed because only the upper part has a roof.

  • To get the basic information about ginseng seedling production, yield of ginseng seedling and soil physico-chemical components of Ban-Yang-Jik (semimodified soil) nursery in 29 farmer's field were investigated. The number of available seedling per Kan (Kan means $180{\times}90cm$ area) is $362{\pm}226$. Root weight per seedling was negatively correlated with ammount of fine and extremely fine sand. Positive correlations were shown between pH and OM, K, Ca and Mg, and also between EC and Ca, Mg and ammonium and nitrate nitrogen in soil of nursery. There were significant linear relations between root weight and OM, K, Ca and Mg in soil of nursery. On the other hand, quadratic relation was held between the root weight and $P_2O_5$, but the root weight has no correlation with nitrogen. The nitrogen contents of soil might not influence on the growth of ginseng seedling as greatly as those of $P_2O_5$, K and Ca. The contents of $P_2O_5$, K and Ca in root were increased with increase of the contents of $P_2O_5$, K and Ca in soil of nusery, respectively. It showed the linear correlation between the root weight and $P_2O_5$ and Ca, otherwise quadratic correlation between the root weight and K in root.

  • The regulation of gene expression plays an important rolet in cell cycle controls. In this study, a novel $mas3^+$ (mitosis associated protein) gene, a homolog of human SMARCADl, was isolated and characterized from a fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe. The overall homology between the helicase proteins of the two species is $87\%$. This DEAD/H box-containing molecule has seven highly conserved sequence regions that allow us to place it in the SNF2 family of the helicase superfamily. Knock-out cell of $mas3^+$ gene was constructed using kanMX6 as a selection marker. Survival of mas3 null mutant exposed to UV or MMS was similar to those of wild type cells. $mas3^+$ expression was lowest at $G_2$ and gradually increased. Cytokinesis of mas3 null mutant was abnormal at $26^{\circ}C\;and\;35^{\circ}C$ and a large number of multi-septate cells were produced. These results indicate that the $mas3^+$ is involved in cytokinesis and cell shape control.

  • In order to produce L-lysine from cellulosic substrates by the intergeneric protoplast fusion between cellulolytic bacteria, Cellulomonas flavigena KFCC31221 and amino acid producing bacteria, Brevibacterium flavum ATCC14067, Corynebacteriurn glutamicum ATCC13032, conditions for protoplast formation and regeneration of these strains were investigated. After the strains were mutated with 500$\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$ N-methyl-N'-nitro N-nitrosoguanidine for 30 min and the mutants were enriched by treating 300$\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$ penicillin-G for 2 hrs, B. flavum Hse- Str$^{r}$ , C. glutamicum Met$^{-}$Thr$^{-}$ Rif$^{r}$ and Cellulomonas flavigena Thr$^{-}$Val$^{-}$Kan$^{r}$ were isolated. The rate of protoplast formation ranged from 95 to 98% when strains were treated at the concentration of 500$\mu\textrm{g}$/$m\ell$ of lysozyme, pH 6.5, 33$^{\circ}C$, for 6 hrs. in Tris- malate buffer supplemented with 0.4M sucrose as osmotic stabilizer. Approximately 30-33% protoplast was regenerated on the regeneration complete medium(RCM) containing 1.5% agar and 0.5M sodium succinate overlaid with the same medium except 0.7% agar.

  • It is considered an implant failure when there is esthetic problems in the anterior area although the prosthesis function normally. In 2003, Dr. Kan et al stated that implant bone level is determined by the adjacent teeth. After that many scholars have studied how can achieve the esthetics result on adjacent teeth bone loss cases. In 2012, Dr. Takino published an article in Quintessence. He summarized previous articles and reclassified the defects from class 1 through 4. Class 1 and 2 depicts a situation where there is no bone loss on adjacent teeth. In Class 3 and 4, interproximal bone loss extends to the adjacent tooth. If one side is involved, it is Class 3. If both sides are involved, it is Class 4. The clue for esthetic implant restoration is whether bone loss extends to adjacent tooth or not. If the bone level of adjacent tooth is sound, we can easily achieve the esthetic but the bone level is not sound, the surgery will be complicated and the esthetic result will be unpredictable. So regenerative surgery for adjacent tooth is necessary for long-term maintenance. But the options and process were so complicated, the purpose of this article is to report the method simplify the surgery and gain a similar outcome.

  • CHOOSA GORACK which is a typical example of traditional houses in the CHO SEON dynasty consists of the four terraced builfing group. Among those,SADANG CHAI are located in the highest level, and SADANG CHAI and SADANG CHAI are toward south direction. It means that building orientation and level were influenced by the distinction of social level and the idea of ancester worship. Floor and ceiling level in the same building is different which was caused by the distinetion of social level in the CHO SEON dynasty and an ariental dual as a variety of openings, exposed ceilings, and furniture against a wall were creating a typical Korean visual harmony. Although the furniture and equipments were very important elements in ONDOL BANG the occupance ratio of these were low because the free space in BANG should be utilized effectively to accommodate the space variation. Both an AN CHAI and SARANG CHAI were composed by the standard space module called KAN.And interior elements were established by several factors such as the human scale, the behavior pattern in traditional sitting life style, and the lumber size of post and lintel construction of Korean house.BANG and DAE GHUNG, composed of KAN,were expanded and arranged side by side so that the natural light and ventilation through them could be used in the result of the kind of lay out, traffic circulation was disturved. In conclusion,CHOOSA GOTACK was formed by the sirect effice of the KOREAN penisula. However this study was based on one sample. It may not enough to deduct soild conclusion. Therefore continuous and farher study is needed for the sestemane evaluation.

  • This study presents a method to find the extant central halls with the plan most similar to the remains and to find out and compare the architectural style of extant buildings for the restoration. In the Joseon dynasty, there existed both remains and the extant hall. In particular, the $3{\times}2Kan$ hall is the minimum size that functions as the hall, so the number of comparison articles is small. The subjects are three remains and 29 Extant Halls. The absolute size of the comparison articles are the Area, Ratio of front/side, and the relative sizes are the Ratio of front Eokan/Hyeopkan and Ratio of the front Eokan/the side row. The Daeungjeon remain in Bugjijangsa is similar in absolute size and relative sizes to Oeosa daeungjeon. The Bubdang remain in Seonchalsaji is similar to Sangwonsa daeungjeon in the Area and Ratio of front/side, and similar to Daejeogsa geungnakjeon in the Ratio of front/side and Ratio of front Eokan/Hyeopkan. The Bubdang remain in Seungseonsaji is similar to Seodongsa daeungjeon in the Area, Ratio of front Eokan/Hyeopkan and Ratio of the front Eokan /the side row. Consequently, this method has high value as a way to expand by other comparison articles.
