Gas transport through graphene-derived membranes has gained much interest recently due to its promising potential in filtration and separation applications. In this work, we explore Kr-85 gas radionuclide sequestration from natural air in nanoporous graphene oxide membranes in which different sizes and geometries of pores were modeled on the graphene oxide sheet. This was done using atomistic simulations considering mean-squared displacement, diffusion coefficient, number of crossed species of gases through nanoporous graphene oxide, and flow through interlayer galleries. The results showed that the gas features have the densest adsorbed zone in nanoporous graphene oxide, compared with a graphene membrane, and that graphene oxide was more favorable than graphene for Kr separation. The aim of this paper is to show that for the well-defined pore size called P-7, it is possible to separate Kr-85 from a gas mixture containing Kr-85, O₂ and N₂. The results would benefit the oil industry among others.

In this paper, we have investigated the output characteristics of the Stokes Raman laser in hydrogen, deuterium, and their mixed gases as a function of the incident pump energy and gas pressure using KrF excimer laser as pumping source for generating the differential absorption lidar (DIAL) wavelengths suitable in measuring the ozone concentration of the troposphere. The optimization results of compact excimer-Raman laser transmitter in DIAL system for the tropospheric ozone sounding at the 292 nm/319 m and 292 nm/313 nm wavelength pairs are presented. for the ozone sounding in the 4-12 km range, it has been demonstrated that the design of transmitter for DIAL lidar may be significantly simplified by the use of 292 nm/319 nm wavelength pair. The investigations of Raman scattering in the mixture of hydrogen and deuterium gases have shown that such mixture may be efficiently used for developing the multi- wavelength light sources for DIAL systems.

GMON-KR 시스템은 한국을 비롯하여 미국, 러시아, 중국 등 4개국을 연결하는 글로벌 과학기술협업연구망인 글로리아드의 활용도를 모니터링하여 망의 유지, 보수 및 관리를 도와주며 망의 사용국가, 사용성격 등을 분석하는데 유용하게 사용할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 2005년에 글로리아드-미국과 한국과학기술정보연구원에서 공동으로 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 GMON-KR 시스템을 확장하여 좀더 사용자 친화적인 방법으로 글로리아드-한국 망의 트래픽을 분석할 수 있도록 하기 위한 가시화 연구의 결과를 소개한다.

It is well known that rapidly activating delayed rectifier $K^{＋}$ channels ( $I_{Kr}$ ) playa role in repolarisation in mammalian hearts. Recently, human ether-a- go- go related gene (HERG) channels was shown to be a molecular equivalent to $I_{Kr}$ . We have investigated the permeation of various external cations on $I_{Kr}$ in mammalian hearts and on HERG channels expressed in Xenopus laevis oocytes.(omitted)

This work aimed to develop ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) thin films ablation with a KrF Eximer laser required for the application in flat panel display, especially patterning into small geometry on a large substrate area. The threshold fluence for ablating ITO on glass substrate is about 0.1 J/cm$^2$. And its value is much smaller than using third harmonic Nd:YAG laser. Through the optical microscope measurement the surface color of the damaged ITO is changed into dark brown and irradiated spot is completely isolated form the undamaged surroundings by laser light. The XPS analysis showed that the relative surface concentration of Sn and In were essentially unchanged (In :Sn=5:1) after irradiating Eximer laser. Using aluminium mask made by second harmonic Nd:YAG laser the ITO patterning is carried out.

PDP의 luminous efficacy의 향상을 위해서는 동작가스의 연구가 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 bolsig simulator를 사용하여 여러 비율의 Xe+Kr+Ne 3원가스 시뮬레이션을 통하여 각 가스입자들에 전달되는 이온화에너지, 여기에너지를 조사하였다. 실험에서 short discharge gap과 long discharge gap을 가진 7인치 테스트 패널 2개를 사용하여 가스압력과 Xe+Kr+Ne 혼합비를 변화시켜가며 discharge voltage, luminance, luminous efficacy를 측정하여, 방전특성을 연구하였다.

본 논문은 한국어-스페인어와 한국어-불어 간의 양방향 이국어 사전(Bi-directional bilingual lexicon)을 자동으로 구축하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 한국어와 스페인어/불어 간의 병렬 말뭉치를 직접적으로 구축하기에는 어려움에 따르기 때문에, 영어를 중심언어로 하는 영어(EN)-한국어(KR)/스페인어(ES)/불어(FR) 병렬 말뭉치를 이용하여 문맥 벡터를 만들고 그들 간의 유사도를 계산하는 변형된 문맥 벡터 방법을 제안한다. 영어는 다른 언어와의 이국어 병렬 말뭉치가 비교적 많이 공개되어 있기 때문에 이 방법을 이용하면 비교적 쉽게 KR-ES와 KR-FR 양방향 이국어 사전을 구축할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법으로 실험해본 결과 최고 85%(ES${\rightarrow}$KR)의 정확도를 얻을 수 있었다.

The purpose of this paper was to identify the metabolic pathway of a new neuroprotective agent, KR-31543 for ischemia-reperfusion damage in human liver microsomes and characterize cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes involved in the in vitro metabolism of KR-31543 generates two metabolites in human liver microsomes : M1, N-(4-chlorophenyl)-N-(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-ylmethyl)amine and M2, hydroxy-KR-31543. A liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometric (LC/MS/MS) method was developed for the determination of a new anti-angiogenic drug KR-31831 in rat plasma. KR-31831 and internal standard, KR-31543 were extracted from rat plasma with dichloromethane at basic pH. A reverse-phase LC separation was performed on Luna C8 column with the mixture of acetonitrile-ammonium formate (10 mM, pH 4.5) (67:33, v/v) as mobile phase. The detection of analytes was performed using an electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry in the multiple-reaction-monitoring mode. (omitted)
