ReRAM cell, also known as conductive bridging RAM (CBRAM), is a resistive switching memory based on non-volatile formation and dissolution of conductive filament in a solid electrolyte [1,2]. Especially, Chalcogenide-based ReRAM have become a promising candidate due to the simple structure, high density and low power operation than other types of ReRAM but the uniformity of switching parameter is undesirable. It is because diffusion of ions from anode to cathode in solid electrolyte layer is random [3]. That is to say, the formation of conductive filament is not go through the same paths in each switching cycle which is one of the major obstacles for performance improvement of ReRAM devices. Therefore, to control of nonuniform conductive filament formation is a key point to achieve a high performance ReRAM. In this paper, we demonstrated the enhanced repeatable bipolar resistive switching memory characteristics by spreading the Ag nanocrystals (Ag NCs) on amorphous GeSe layer compared to the conventional Ag/GeSe/Pt structure without Ag NCs. The Ag NCs and Ag top electrode act as a metal supply source of our devices. Excellent resistive switching memory characteristics were obtained and improvement of voltage distribution was achieved from the Al/Ag NCs/GeSe/Pt structure. At the same time, a stable DC endurance (>100 cycles) and an excellent data retention (>104 sec) properties was found from the Al/Ag NCs/GeSe/ Pt structured ReRAMs.
In this paper, we address an optimization problem for minimizing the inspection and rework cost in an inspection-rework system, which forms a network of nodes including a K-stage inspection system, storage areas for items, a source inspection shop, and a re-inspection shop. We assume that (n, 0) acceptance sampling is performed in the source inspection shop and that only 100(1-r)% of items of rejected lots are re-inspected in the re-inspection shop. Since all the nodes are interrelated, in order to formulate our steady-state objective function, we make a steady-state network flow analysis between nodes, and derive both the steady-state amount of flows between nodes and the steady-state fraction defectives by solving a nonlinear balance equation. Finally we provide some fundamental properties and an enumeration procedure for determining the optimal values of (K, r) which both minimizes our objective function and attains a given target average outgoing quality.
Water leak phenomena in the liquid sodium which is a coolant of liquid metal reactor, were investigated by carrying out sodium-water reaction experiment. It was confirmed that sodium and water react each other by the analysis of material composition of aspecimen at the end of experiment. When steam of $100kg/cm^2$ was passed through the leak path of the specimen for 4 hours, reaction products from sodium-water reaction were observed on the leak site. However, re-opening phenomena were not observed at this condition. It was interpretted that the reaction product precipitated on leak path and thermal transient caused self-plugging and re-openning phenomena, respectively.

The purpose of this study was to examine the radiolabeling and biodistribution of $^{188}Re(V)$-DMSA as a therapeutic cancer radiopharmaceutical. We made a DMSA kit($NaHCO_3$ 1.5 mg, meso-2,3-dimercaptosuccinic acid 1.0 mg, L(+)-ascorbic acid 0.7 mg, $SnCl_2{\cdot}2H_2O$ 0.34 mg, pH 2.9) for labeling with $^{188}Re$. In this kit, $^{188}ReO_4{^-}$ 5 mCi/2 ml added and boiled at $100^{\circ}C$ for 3 hr in water bath. The final pH adjusted to 7.5 with 7% $NaHCO_3$ solution. We checked the labelling efficacy with TLC-SG(n-butanol : acetic acid : $H_2O$ = 3 : 2 : 3) and examined the stability both in room temperature and in serum at $37^{\circ}C$. Biodistribution(1, 3, 13, 24, 48 hr) of $^{188}Re(V)$-DMSA compound was evaluated in Sarcoma 180 tumor-bearing mice. Each labeling efficiency and stability at room temperature for 48 hours was over 98% and 95%, respectively. The stability in serum were 82%(6 hr) and 85%(48 hr). Tumor uptake of $^{188}Re(V)$-DMSA in Sarcoma 180-bearing mice were $0.66{\pm}0.15%$(1 hr), $0.51{\pm}0.10%$(3 hr), $0.19{\pm}0.05%$(24 hr) and $0.13{\pm}0.02%$(48 hr). These result are consistent with those of $^{99m}Tc(V)$-DMSA which were reported previously. In conclusion, $^{188}Re(V)$-DMSA may be a useful therapeutic radiopharmaceutical for treating some cancers and metastatic bone lesion.
The effects of ginseng saponins, G-Rbl and G-Rc on the rat liver LDH A-gene transcnptional activity was investigated during pro-replicative phase of rat liver after partial hepatectomy. Changes in LDH A-mRNA levels in regenerating rat liver after intraperitoneal administrations of G-Rbl of G-Rc were tested by slot blot hybridization methods. The results showed that G-Rbl (1 mg/100g B.W) and G-Rc (1 ma/100g B.W) caused marked increases of LDH A-mRNA contents by respectively 1.9- and 1.5-fold in rat liver at 5·hours after partial hepatectomy. Dose dependent effect of G-Rbl and G-Rc (1-25 mg/100g B.W) on the LDH A-mRNA levels on regenerating rat liver were also analyzed. The maximal in- creases of liver LDH A-mRNA levels were observed with the doses of 1 mg for G-Rbl and 5 mg for G-Rc However, when the administration doses of G-Kbl and G-Rc were increased to 20 mg, G-Rbl caused a marked decrease of LDH A-mRNA level to 61% of those in sham-operated rat liver In contrast, G-Rc slightly decreased the liver LDH A-mRNA contents by 30% as compared to those of the maximum value but still maintained 22% higher LDH A-mRNA levels then those of sham-operated rate liver. On the basis of these experimental results, we conclude that ginseng saponin, G-Rb 1 and G·Rc have stimulatory effect at the lower concentration (1 mg/100g B.W) and inhibitory effect at the higher concentration (20 moi loos 5.W) on the LDH A-gene transcription during regeneration of rat liver, Additionally we also investigated the stimulatory effects of ginsenosides on the protein and DNA synthetic activities in hepatocyte primary cell cultures isolated from regenerating rat liver. Both of G·Rc and -Re increased the synthetic rates of hepatocytes proteins and DNA at the administration doses of 50 ug and 100 ug/3 ml/dish respectively representing 1.3-1.6 fold increases. From these results we postulate that G-Rc and -Re may have a mitogen enhancer activity for the hepatocyte proliferation during rat liver regeneration period. Keywords Inductive effects of ginsenosides, G-Rb, -Rc, and -Re, rat LDH A-gene transcription, the sin thetic rate of proteins and DNA in regeneration rat liver.

The stability and accuracy of ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) used for evaluating the contents of rutin and quercetin in tartary buckwheat (Fagopyrum tataricum Gaertn.) seeds extracted by seven different extraction methods were determined. The seven extraction methods were reflux extraction (RE), ultra-sonification extraction (UE), stirrer extraction (SE), RE after UE (UE+RE), RE after SE (SE+RE), UE after SE (SE+UE), and RE with UE after SE (SE+UE+RE). Among the seven extraction methods used, RE yielded comparatively higher contents of rutin (2,277 mg/ 100 g) and quercetin (158 mg/100 g) than those yielded by other six extraction methods. The intra-day repeatability and inter-day precision of RE was 0.4-3.2% considering relative standard deviation (RSD), while accuracy was 88.8-102.4%. Therefore, RE with UPLC would be a rapid, accurate, and stable method for analyzing rutin and quercetin contents in tartary buckwheat.

This paper describes a prototype mechanical white noise generator has a source level of more than 170.0 dB (re $1{\mu}Pa$ at 1 m) at the frequency range of 10 Hz to 100 kHz. The results of performance evaluation of the generator are as follows. The average source level of the generator measured by a step of $15^{\circ}$ in horizontal (0 to $360^{\circ}$, 25 points) was 185.2 (SD (standard deviation): 2.3) dB (re $1{\mu}Pa$ at 1 m). The maximum and minimum source levels were appeared at the frequency range of 2.5 to 5.0 kHz and around 100 kHz, respectively. The average source levels at $0^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$, $180^{\circ}$ and $270^{\circ}$ were 162.9 (SD: 10.6), 168.4 (SD: 10.0), 162.1 (SD: 9.1) and 166.5 (SD: 11.1) dB (re $1{\mu}Pa$ at 1 m). The average source level measured by a step of $30^{\circ}$ in vertical was 184.9 (SD: 2.2) dB (re $1{\mu}Pa$ at 1 m). The relative maximum variation width of the source levels in horizontal and in vertical measurement were less than 7.0 dB and 1.0 dB, respectively.
Esophageal reflux of gastric contents causes esophageal mucosal damage and inflammation. Recent studies show that oxygen-derived free radicals mediate mucosal damage in reflux esophagitis (RE). Chlorogenic acid (CGA), an ester of caffeic acid and quinic acid, is one of the most abundant polyphenols in the human diet and possesses anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-oxidant activities. In this context, we investigated the effects of CGA against experimental RE in rats. RE was produced by ligating the transitional region between the forestomach and the glandular portion and covering the duodenum near the pylorus ring with a small piece of catheter. CGA (10, 30 and 100 mg/kg) and omeprazole (positive control, 10 mg/kg) were administered orally 48 h after the RE operation for 12 days. CGA reduced the severity of esophageal lesions, and this beneficial effect was confirmed by histopathological observations. CGA reduced esophageal lipid peroxidation and increased the reduced glutathione/oxidized glutathione ratio. CGA attenuated increases in the serum level of tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$, and expressions of inducible nitric oxide synthase and cyclooxygenase-2 protein. CGA alleviates RE-induced mucosal injury, and this protection is associated with reduced oxidative stress and the anti-inflammatory properties of CGA.

This study proposes a method of separating uranium (U) and minor actinides from rare earth (RE) elements in the LiCl-KCl salt system. Several RE metals were used to reduce UCl3 and MgCl2 from the eutectic LiCl-KCl salt systems. Five experiments were performed on drawdown U and plutonium (Pu) surrogate elements from RECl3-enriched LiCl-KCl salt systems at 773 K. Via the introduction of RE metals into the salt system, it was observed that the UCl3 concentration can be lowered below 100 ppm. In addition, UCl3 was reduced into a powdery form that easily settled at the bottom and was successfully collected by a salt distillation operation. When the RE metals come into contact with a metallic structure, a galvanic interaction occurs dominantly, seemingly accelerating the U recovery reaction. These results elucidate the development of an effective and simple process that selectively removes actinides from electrorefining salt, thus contributing to the minimization of the influx of actinides into the nuclear fuel waste stream.
