가상현실을 이용한 경량전철 주행시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of the Driving Simulator for Automated Guideway Transit using Virtual Reality Technology)

  • In this paper, we introduced a simulator to visualize the driving scenery of newly developed train called the K-AGT(Korea Automated Guideway Transit). The simulator consists of mainly two parts; control system and display system. In the control system, user can control the driving speed of the K-AGT, the driving environment(day and night), the operation of the train door and the screen door and user's views(driver's view, left window view, right window view, passenger's view). In the display system, immersive driving scenery generated by stereoscopic head mount display system and 3 channel PDP display system are displayed. We are expect to utilize the system to share the idea among customer, designer and constructor and verify the operating condition of the K-AGT intuitively.

  • Korea Railroad Research Institute(KRRI) developed the Driverless Rubber Tired Korea-AGT(Model: K-AGT) from 1999 to 2004. We have finished the safety and performance tests of K-AGT. Data obtained from this testing can be used to evaluate the growth of reliability. The most widely used traditional growth tracking model is included as IEC International standard. With the tracking model all corrective actions are incorporated during test, called test-fix-test. In the test-fix-test strategy problem modes are found during testing and corrective actions for these problems are incorporated during testing. In this paper, we demonstrated reliability analysis using growth model of driverless rubber tired K-AGT system to prove reliability of development system. Therefore, we introduce the well-known NHPP model and analyze a reliability growth using ReliaSoft's RGA software.

TPS를 이용한 한국형 고무차륜경량전철(K-AGT)의 성능특성 분석 (Train Performance Characteristics of Korean Rubber-Tired AGT System by TPS)

  • In this work, the characteristics of train performance of Korean rubber-tired AGT system(K-AGT) are evaluated by using TPS(Train Performance Simulation) and these results are compared to those of other LRT(Light Rail Transit) systems. The performance characteristics of K-AGT was analyzed by comparing the scheduled speed and the energy consumption in case of station interval change and rail track condition change in, the scheduled construction line. In the scheduled construction line, scheduled speed of K-AGT was no difference with other systems and energy consumption was less than other LRT's. In case station intervals are increased, scheduled speed of K-AGT shows similar increasing rate and in curved and graded track conditions K-AGT has no difference in scheduled speed with other systems. As a simulation result by track condition change, when the track which is smaller than curved line of 250m dominates more than $50\%$ in whole track, K-AGT is similar to other systems to the point of scheduled speed and there is advantage in energy consumption.

  • Light Rail Transit (LRT) System is an urban transit system which has approximately an intermediate transportation capacity between conventional subway and bus ($5,000{\sim}25,000$ persons per hour and per direction). It is a high-tech system which operational capacity, punctuality and mobility are remarkably improved. There are some types of LRT systems such as monorail, tramway, AGT(Automated Guideway Transit), and so on. The LRT systems have been applied and being operated in about a hundred lines around the world and many projects that apply the LRT systems in Korea are being proceeded and scheduled. For the efficient management, economical construction, and safe operation of various LRT systems, the establishment of national standard is necessary such as vehicle standardized specification, vehicle performance test standard, vehicle safety standard, construction guide, operation regulation, etc. of LRT systems. This paper presents the standard specification of electrical equipment of linear induction motor type light rail vehicle, that is LIM AGT(AGT system propelled with linear induction motor) vehicle. The LIM AGT system has been applied in Japan subway and ART(Advanced Rapid Transit) system of Canada and Yongin LRT is currently under construction.

  • Korea Railroad Research Institute developed the driverless rubber-tired Korean-AGT system from 1999 to 2005 and has done its performance and reliability tests on the test line at Gyeongsan-city. We made the reliability management program to control required the RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability & safety) of the K-AGT system. Therefore, we demonstrated the development and application of Reliability DB program. The main functions of K-AGT Reliability DB program manages failures and maintenance data systematically from the test line through test period and provides various analysis results based on the inputted data.

  • 경량전철(LRT: Light Rail Transit)은 중량전철에 비해 많은 장점을 가진 효과적인 대중교통수단이다. 따라서 많은 지자체에서 도입을 추진하고 있고, 부산광역시에서는 이미 반송선과 부산김해경전철 등 2개 노선을 국내 최초로 무인운행방식으로 도입하여 운행중에 있다. 본 연구는 이렇게 도입된 경전철과 관련한 이용자 측면의 서비스 만족도를 분석하고, 부족한 부분을 보완하여 경전철의 서비스를 개선해 나가는 데 우선순위를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 실제 무인자동운전 경량전철(부산김해경전철과 반송선)의 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 경량전철에 대한 안전성 의식과 서비스에 대한 이용만족도를 파악하고, 구조방정식 기법을 활용하여 두 개의 서비스 이용만족도 모형(반송선모형과 부산김해경전철모형)을 구축하여 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과 이용자 중심의 경전철 서비스 개선대책과 우선순위를 도출하였다.

경전철시험선에서 송신전력 10mW/MHz에 대한 열차제어용 무선시스템의 전파도달범위 예측 (Radio coverage prediction of RF-CBTC system under transmission power 10mW/MHz at K-AGT test line)

  • 한국형 경전철의 무선통신기반 열차제어시스템은 지상과 차상 무선기 사이의 전파지연을 이용하여 열차의 위치를 검지하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 허가없이 사용할 수 있는 무선기기에 대한 정보통신부 고시기준에 적합하도록 경전철시험선 무선시스템의 송신전력을 줄여 사용할 수 있는지를 전파모의실험을 통해 검토하였다. 우선, 시험선에서 스펙트럼분석기로 측정한 데이터를 분석하여 무선전파(傳播) 모델을 결정하고, 경전철시험선의 지형데이터와 감소된 송신전력을 전파전파(電波傳播)예측 프로그램에 적용하여 전파도달거리를 예측하고, 예측데이터를 바탕으로 송신전력을 줄였을 경우의 실효성을 제시한다.

경산시험선 CBTC 시스템용 무선통신시스템 시험(2) (Analysis and Test of CBTC Wireless Communication System in KyungSan test Line (II))

  • Korean-Automated Guideway Transit (K-AGT) was successfully developed through Light Rail System Development Project. Since then, the domestic development rate of on-board signalling system of light rail has been improved up to 90% by Practical Utilization Project of Light Rail. After utilization project, furthermore, POSCO ICT has developed the wayside signalling system of CBTC, including wireless communication equipment. KRRI carried out the performance test of the wireless communication, interfacing and using the other CBTC equipments of KyungSan Test Line so as to see whether it conforms IEEE 802.11x, international communication standard in view of operational concept of CBTC. In this paper, we presents analysis results of roaming test while train runs.
