  • Suppose L/K be a finite abelian extension of number fields of odd degree and suppose an abelian variety A defined over L is a K-variety. If the endomorphism algebra of A/L is a field F, the followings are equivalent : (1) The enodomorphiam algebra of the restriction of scalars from L to K is simple. (2) There is no proper subfield of L containing LGF on which A has a K-variety descent.

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove the following result: Let A be a noncom mutative Banach algebra. Suppose that there exist continuous linear Jordan derivations $D:A{\rightarrow}A$, $G:A{\rightarrow}A$ such that [$D^2(x)+G(x)$, $x^n$] lies in the Jacobson radical of A for all $x{\in}A$. Then $D(A){\subset}rad(A)$ and $G(A){\subset}rad(A)$.

  • In this note we prove the space (A, ${\parallel}.{\parallel}$) is a Banach space and ${\parallel}ab{\parallel}{\leq}{\parallel}a{\parallel}{\parallel}b{\parallel}$ for $a,b{\in}A$ where $A:=\{a:=(a_t)_{t{\in}G}:{\sum}_{t{\in}G}{\parallel}a_t{\parallel}_t<{\infty}\}$, $G=\mathbb{N}^*$. Also we show some property in (A, ${\parallel}.{\parallel}$).

  • Let G(A) denote a generalized Kac Moody Lie algebra associated to a symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrix A. In this paper, we study on representations of G(A). Highest weight modules and the category O are described. In the main theorem we show that some G(A) modules from the category O are completely reducible. Also a criterion for irreducibility of highest weight modules is obtained. This was proved in [3] for the case of Kac Moody Lie algebras.

  • Let $F^{\alpha}G$ be a twisted group algebra with basis ${{\mu}g|g\;{\in}\;G}$ and $P\;=\;{C_g|g\;{\in}\;G}$ be a partition of G. A projective class algebra associated with P is a subalgebra of $F^{\alpha}G$ generated by all class sums $\sum\limits{_{x{\in}C_g}}\;{\mu}_x$. A main object of the paper is to find interrelationships of projective class algebras in $F^{\alpha}G$ and in $F^{\alpha}H$ for H < G. And the a-spherical function will play an important role for the purpose. We find functional properties of a-spherical functions and investigate roles of $\alpha-spherical$ functions as characters of projective class algebras.

  • Two examples of $\varepsilon$-famed manifolds are constructed. It is proved that an $\varepsilon$-framed structure on a manifold is not unique. Automorphism groups of r-framed manifolds are studied. Lastly we prove that a connected Lie group G admits a left invariant normal $\varepsilon$-framed structure if and only if the Lie algebra of all left invariant vector fields on G is an $\varepsilon$-framed Lie algebra.

  • Let V be an arbitrary system of weights on an open connected subset G of ${\mathbb{C}}^N(N{\geq}1)$ and let B (E) be the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators on a Banach space E. Let $HV_b$ (G, E) and $HV_0$ (G, E) be the weighted locally convex spaces of vector-valued analytic functions. In this paper, we characterize self-analytic mappings ${\phi}:G{\rightarrow}G$ and operator-valued analytic mappings ${\Psi}:G{\rightarrow}B(E)$ which generate weighted composition operators and invertible weighted composition operators on the spaces $HV_b$ (G, E) and $HV_0$ (G, E) for different systems of weights V on G. Also, we obtained compact weighted composition operators on these spaces for some nice classes of weights.

  • The main goal of this paper is to show the following: Let d and g be (continuous or discontinuous) linear derivations on a Banach algebra A over a complex field C such that $\alphad^3+dg$ is a linear Jordan derivation for some $\alpha\inC$. Then the product dg maps A into the Jacobson radical of A.

  • In this paper, we study decompositions of weak ideals in difference algebras and obtain equivalent conditions for closed weak ideals. Moreover, we show that if I is an ideal of a difference algebra X, then $I^g$ is an ignorable weak ideal of X.
