  • A linear mapping ${\phi}$ on an algebra $\mathcal{A}$ is called a centralizable mapping at $G{\in}{\mathcal{A}}$ if ${\phi}(AB)={\phi}(A)B= A{\phi}(B)$ for each A and B in $\mathcal{A}$ with AB = G, and ${\phi}$ is called a derivable mapping at $G{\in}{\mathcal{A}}$ if ${\phi}(AB)={\phi}(A)B+A{\phi}(B)$ for each A and B in $\mathcal{A}$ with AB = G. A point G in A is called a full-centralizable point (resp. full-derivable point) if every centralizable (resp. derivable) mapping at G is a centralizer (resp. derivation). We prove that every point in a von Neumann algebra or a triangular algebra is a full-centralizable point. We also prove that a point in a von Neumann algebra is a full-derivable point if and only if its central carrier is the unit.

  • In this paper we study a $C^{*}$-dynamical system (A, G, .alpha.) where A is a UHF-algebra, G is a finite abelian group and .alpha. is a *-automorphic action of product type of G on A. In [2], A. Kishimoto considered the case G= $Z_{n}$, the cyclic group of order n and investigated a condition in order that the fixed point algebra $A^{\alpha}$ of A under the action .alpha. is UHF. In later N.J. Munch studied extremal tracial states on $A^{\alpha}$ by employing the method of A. Kishimoto [3], where G is a finite abelian group. Generally speaking, when G is compact (not necessarily discrete and abelian), $A^{\alpha}$ is an AF-algebra and its ideal structure was well analysed by N. Riedel [4]. Here we obtain some conditions for $A^{\alpha}$ to be UHF, where G is a finite abelian group, which is an extension of the result of A. Kishimoto.oto.

  • In this paper, let Q be the real quaternion algebra which consists of all quaternionic numbers, and let G be the Lie group of all automorphisms of the algebra Q. Assume that g is an arbitrary given left invariant Riemannian metric on the Lie group G. Then, we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for an automorphism of the group G to be harmonic.

  • A linear map T from a Banach algebra A into a Banach algebra B is almost multiplicative if $\left\$\mid$ T(fg) - T(f)T(g) \right\$\mid$ \leq \in\left\$\mid$ f \right\$\mid$\left\$\mid$ g \right\$\mid$(f,g \in A)$ for some small positive $\in$. B.E.Johnson [4,5] studied whether this implies that T is near a multiplicative map in the norm of operators from A into B. K. Jarosz [2,3] raised the conjecture : If T is an almost multiplicative functional on uniform algebra A, there is a linear and multiplicative functional F on A such that $\left\$\mid$ T - F \right\$\mid$ \leq \in', where \in' \to 0$ as $\in \to 0$. B. E. Johnson [4] gave an example of non-uniform commutative Banach algebra which does not have the property described in the above conjecture. He proved also that C(K) algebras and the disc algebra A(D) have this property [5]. We extend this property to a derivation on a Banach algebra.

  • Fix $n-2$ elements $h_1,{\cdots},h_{n-2}$ of the quotient field B of the polynomial algebra $\mathbb{C}[x_1,x_2,{\cdots},x_n]$. It is proved that B is a Poisson algebra with Poisson bracket defined by $\{f,g\}=det(Jac(f,g,h_1,{\cdots},h_{n-2})$ for any $f,g{\in}B$, where det(Jac) is the determinant of a Jacobian matrix.

  • Further properties on a fuzzy ideal of a right K(G)-algbera $\mathcal{G}$ are investigated. Using a family of ideals of a right K(G)-algebra $\mathcal{G}$ with additional conditions, a fuzzy ideal of $\mathcal{G}$ is established. Given a fuzzy set $\mu$ in $\mathcal{G}$, the least fuzzy ideal of $\mathcal{G}$ containing $\mu$ is described. Using a chain of ideals of $\mathcal{G}$, a fuzzy ideal of $\mathcal{G}$ is constructed, and their properties are investigated.

  • Let Q be a finite quiver and $G{\subseteq}Aut(\mathbb{k}Q)$ a finite abelian group. Assume that $\hat{Q}$ and ${\Gamma}$ are the generalized Mckay quiver and the valued graph corresponding to (Q, G) respectively. In this paper we discuss the relationship between indecomposable $\hat{Q}$-representations and the root system of Kac-Moody algebra $g({\Gamma})$. Moreover, we may lift G to $\bar{G}{\subseteq}Aut(g(\hat{Q}))$ such that $g({\Gamma})$ embeds into the fixed point algebra $g(\hat{Q})^{\bar{G}}$ and $g(\hat{Q})^{\bar{G}}$ as a $g({\Gamma})$-module is integrable.

  • Graph algebras establish a connection between directed graphs without multiple edges and special universal algebras of type (2,0). We say that a graph G satisfies an identity $s{\approx}t$ if the corresponding graph algebra $\underline{A(G)}$ satisfies $s{\approx}t$. A graph G=(V,E) is called an $(xy)x{\approx}x(yy)$ graph if the graph algebra $\underline{A(G)}$ satisfies the equation $(xy)x{\approx}x(yy)$. An identity $s{\approx}t$ of terms s and t of any type ${\tau}$ is called a hyperidentity of an algebra $\underline{A}$ if whenever the operation symbols occurring in s and t are replaced by any term operations of $\underline{A}$ of the appropriate arity, the resulting identities hold in $\underline{A}$. In this paper we characterize $(xy)x{\approx}x(yy)$ graph algebras, identities and hyperidentities in $(xy)x{\approx}x(yy)$ graph algebras.
