Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the Correlation between Pelvic angle and the Tibiofemoral angle in the Genu varum. Method : Age of All subjects were 20-37 years. 33(male 10, female 23) subjects were assessed by whole spine x-ray and orthogram. The collected data consisted of items on general characteristics, Pelvic Incidence(PI), Pelvic Tilt(PT), Sacral Slope(SS) and Tibiofemoral Angle(TFA) of the subjects. Results : The PI, PT and TFA had a relationship significantly. However, there was no relationship between SS and TFA. Conclusion : The results suggest that TFA is related to PI, PT. Internal rotation due to genu varum of femoral at hip influence that PI and PT increase.

Objectives : To examine the correlation between obesity and blood pressure, smoking and drinking (define drinking: do you mean alcohol?) habit in adolescence. Methods : Data collected on 524 subjects from among Kyungwon University students who had participated in a health screening test were reviewed. With the exception of 20 subjects whose health status was deemed to be abnormal based on current illness or results of the health screening test, 504 healthy cases were analysed. We investigated the correlation between obesity as defined by BMI and blood pressure, smoking and drinking habit. Results : 1. The blood pressure of the obese group was high. 2. blood pressure was higher in smokers, and drinking did not influence blood pressure. 3. Smoking had an effect on obesity and drinking had no significant effect on obesity. Conclusions : Obesity is related to blood pressure and smoking habit. Drinking had no significant effect on obesity and blood pressure in this sample.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the conservative treatment for supraspinatus tendinitis with kyphotic cervical curvature patient. Methods : We used chuna, Herbal medication, Acupuncture, Bee Venom Acupuncture, Physical Therapy for this patient. And we measured of VAS score, ROM and Extent of the subjective symptoms of shoulder pain to evaluate treatment effects. Result : Patient's shoulder pain and cervical curvature has improved. VAS score and Extent of the subjective symptoms of shoulder pain score were also decreased.

The occurrence of neurologic symptom, for example cauda equina syndrome or disc rupture after Chuna treatment seems to be an uncommon event considering the large number of Chuna treatment performed. We experienced a woman who developed sudden complication after lumbar Chuna treatment. Patients in spinal hernation undergone Chuna treatment can be the causative factor in neurological symptom and must be considered in each case. Therefore, physicans and patients should be aware that neurological complication may occur as a result of lumba Chuna treatment.

Objectives : To study that lateral epicondylitis(tennis elbow) is related with cervical spondylosis. Subjects : The study was composed of 25 patients of lateral epicondylitis(LEP group) and 25 normal control group(CON group). Method : Simple radiologic scale was compared such as cervical lordotic angle, grading for disc degeneration. Pavlov ratio and Intervertebral body Index Results : Cervical lordotic angle and disc degeneration is not significantly different. And Pavlov ratio and intervertebral body index is significantly decrease in the LEP group. Conclusion : The cervical spondylosis is related with ocuuring lateral epicondylitis.

Objectives The aim of this study was to investigate anti-inflammatory activity of Mugi-hwan (MGH) Water Extract. Methods Cells were treated with 2 ug/ml of LPS 1 hour prior to the addition of MGH. Cell viability was measured by MTS assay. The production of NO was determined by reacting cultured medium with Griess reagent. The expression of COX-2, iNOS and MAPKs was investigated by Western blot, RT-PCR. The content of level of cytokines ($PGE_2$, IL-6, in media from LPS-stimulated Raw 264.7 cells was analyed by ELISA kit. Results MGH inhibited the production of NO, $PGE_2$, IL-6 as well as the expressions of iNOS, COX-2 in the murine macrophage, RAW 264.7 cells. MGH also had suppression effects of LPS induced MAPKs activation. Conclusions These results suggest that MGH has an anti-inflammatory therapeutic potential, which may result from inhibition of MAPK phosphorylation, thereby decreasing the expression of pro-inflammatory genes.
