한.일 여자고등학생의 가정과에 대한 관심과 학습요구의 실태조사 -가족과 보육을 중심으로- (Senior High School Students'Concerns about Home Economics and their Educational Needs in Korea and Japan -In the areas of the Family and Child Care-)

  • The purposes of this study was to investigate high school girl students’concerns about the family life education in Home Economics and their needs for learning in home economics classes in order to develop an advisable co-education curriculum. The questionnaires were completed by 196 first grade students in Seoul in 1993 and 765 first grade students in Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefectures in 1991. The contents of the questionnaire were as follows:1) students’interests in the areas of Home Economics education, 2) students'concerns in their daily life 3) students’interests in a new curriculum for family life education:16 contents from human birth to death. 4) students’experience with their family, and 5) students’educational needs in Home Economics’teaching method. The result of our research showed that:1) Most of senior high school students in Korea and Japan had strong interests in their life and life span. 2) Although there are some differences in the degree of concerns between Korea and Japan, senior high school students in Korea and Japan had strong concerns with their “characteristics and personality”, their “future job”, their “looks and figure”and their “hobby and amusement”, these had not been the contents of home economics in Korea and Japan, but had been in U.S. 3) Very few senior high school students in Japan and especially in Korea had contacts with their grandparents. 4) Senior high school students in Korea and Japan showed strong interests in their near future stage, but they showed less interest in the stage of early childhood. 5) Senior high school students in Korea and Japan showed their diverse needs for learning in home economics classes. The results indicated that co-education curriculum for family life education should meet adolescent needs and concerns, and our new curriculum, “from one’s birth to death/one’s life span”, would be more advisable.

  • The purpose of this research is to offer the basic data for the consumer environmental education by investigation socio-demographic variables, ecologically concerned consumer skill and interrelationship between them. Research was conducted during April for 588 samples who lives in Ulsan by using the questionnaires. The major findings of the research were summerized as follows. 1) The level of ecologically concerned consumer skill was low. 2) Sex, monthly family income, education and life styles have turned out to be significant influence on the level of ecologically concerned consumer skill. 3) The explaining power of life styles was greater than the socio-demographic variables such as sex, monthly family income and education.

중학생의 가정과교육 학습요구도 및 가정생활참여에 관한 연구 (A Study on Middle School Student′s Needs for Home Economics Curriculum Education and the Family Life Participation)

  • The purposes of this study is to find middle school student's needs for Home Economics Curriculum and the family life participation. The samples are 323 middle school students in Kangneung. The results of this study are summarized follows; 1. It is shown that the family life participation of boys was higher than that of girls. 2. Variables that affect middle school student's needs for Home Economics curriculum are needs for Home Economics, number of brothers and sisters and the age for mother. 3. Variables that affect middle school student's the family life participation are human development and family relationship, the clothing, participation in class of Home Economics, perception of life status and sex. 4. The relative contributions of independent variables of the family life participation of middle school students are as follows. The degree of explanation of middle school student's family environmental variable is 12.2%. Adding the variable of Home Economics course, the degree of explanation is increased to 21.8%(deviation 9.6%). Adding the variable of needs for Home Economics curriculum, the degree of explanation is increased to 33.1% (deviation 11.3%).

교원 재교육 프로그램에 대한 한국어 교원의 요구와 관련 변인 연구 -국내 대학 부설 한국어교육기관을 중심으로- (A Study of Korean Teachers' Needs in In-Service Teacher Training and Variables Related to Their Needs: A Case of University Korean Language Education Centers in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine Korean teachers' needs in in-service teacher training and variables related to their needs. This study was conducted with teachers from Korean language centers in Korean universities. The following three research questions were investigated: (1) What are the teachers' experiences of Korean language teaching and in-service teacher training? (2) What are the teachers' needs and expectations for the content and components of in-service education programs? Are there any disparity between teachers' needs and institutional needs? (3) What are the variables to be considered in designing an effective in-service teacher education program? In order to answer the research questions, a survey was developed and distributed to university Korean language institutions and Korean language teachers. The results indicated that both institutions and teachers are highly aware of the importance of the need for in-service teacher training. The results also suggested that a more teacher-centered, bottom-up approach should be implemented for successful outcomes of teacher education programs. Based on the results, this study offers a summary of the need for in-service teacher training and variables (both individual teacher variables and environmental variables) to be considered in designing the content and components of a teacher education program.

유아기 지속가능발전교육을 위한 교사역량에 대한 개념도 연구 (A Concept Map Study on Teacher Competency for ESD(Education for Sustainable Development) in Early Childhood)

  • Objective: This study aimed to reveal early childhood teachers' perceptions of teacher competency for ESD using concept mapping and demonstrating its importance. Methods: 16 early childhood teachers in charge of 3-5 year olds conducted statement writing, and then the importance of selected statements were rated by 160 early childhood teachers in charge of 3-5 year olds. Selected statements were analyzed through multidimensional scaling and hierarchical cluster analysis. Results: Early childhood teachers perceived teacher competency for ESD in early childhood as concept mapping with two-dimensions and six clusters. The following six clusters were established (1) ethics for sustainable development, (2) willingness to participate in ESD, (3) development and operation of a sustainable development curriculum, (4) recognition and practice of environmental issues, (5) realization of value for sustainable development, and (6) practical thinking for ESD. And then among the six clusters, the most important cluster was recognized as 'ethics for sustainable development', and among the statements 'having an open mind to understand multiculturalism and the disabled' was considered relatively important Conclusion/Implications: Based on these results, we discussed the importance of teacher competency for ESD in early childhood, development of teacher competency scale, and preparation of a teacher education plans for each competency.

중학생의 가사노동에 대한 의식 및 참여도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Middle School Student’s Consciousness and Participation of Household Work)

  • The major purpose of this study is to investigate the middle school students’consciousness and their participation of household work. The participants were 540 middle school students but the final data used in this study was 489. For the statistical analysis of this study, frequency, percentage, mean. standard deviation. Cronbach’s $\alpha$ coefficient, one way ANOVA, t-test. Duncan’s Multiple Range Test and Pearson’s correlation were calculated. The results of this study were summarized as follows: 1. It was appeared that the middle school students’consciousness and their participation of household work was high. 2. According to the household environmental variables. there was not any significant difference in the middle school students’consciousness of household work but there was significant difference in the middle school student’s participation of household work. 3. According to the school environmental variables there was not any significant difference in the middle school students’consciousness of household work, but there was significant difference in the middle school students’ participation of household work. 4. According to the degree of family life satisfaction, there was significant difference both in the middle school students’consciousness and in their participation of household work in whole categories. 5. According to the degree of Home Economics course cognition there was significant difference both in the middle school students’ consciousness and in their participation of household work in whole categories.

제7차 초등학교 교육과정의 보건교육 내용 분석 (An Analysis of Health Education Contents of the 7th Elementary Curriculum)

  • In this study we analysed time allotment and the contents of a health textbook and its teacher's guide book of the 7th elementary curriculum. We intended to offer the basic data needed to establish the single health education. So the analysed results are as follows according to the health education model developed by the korean nursing association and health teachers' meeting and the teaching time allotment presented by the teacher's guide book. It's goal is practice in regular class time of the subjects for the time and contents of health education in the 7th elementary curriculum. The total class periods of health education of the 7th elementary curriculum are 229 hours and annual periods of health education per year are an average of 38 hours. The health education of the 7th elementary curriculum is separated into the 9 following subjects: Wise life, Pleasant life, Righteous life, We are 1st grade, Physical education, Science, Social studies, moral education and Practical course. The health education of the 6th elementary curriculum was combined with the units of physical education, but in the 7th curriculum it must be separated by a single, required health subject. The contents of health education of the 7th elementary curriculum is mostly dominated by units of community and environmental health with a total of 55 hours (24%). Therefore, the units of home health and social health, development of physical strength are fairly insignificant. The newly added contents in the 7th curriculum are "pregnancy and child birth, the protection and counterplan from rape, the reasons and prevention of stress, the reasons and the treatment of obesity, the damage of smoking and drinking, etc. According to the result above, we must establish the criteria for each year's health education in the 8th elementary curriculum. The contents of mental health, home health and social health should be revised and added new items. The health education that is separated in some subjects now must be established as a systematically integrated health education.

SEDRIS STF를 이용한 데이터 변환 (Data Conversion using SEDRIS STF)

  • 멀티미디어 분야에서는 오늘날의 시스템의 요구사항을 만족할 뿐만 아니라 미래의 데이터 공유 필요성을 만족할 수 있도록 확장될 수 있는 환경 데이터 표현 및 교환 메카니즘을 필요로 한다. 이러한 메카니즘은 표준화된 방법으로 데이터 표현 및 엑세스를 할 수 있도록 해야 한다. SEDRIS의 STF(SEDRIS Transmittal Format)는 이러한 목적을 가능케하는 표준으로써, 환경 데이터 사용자 및 생성자에게 명료하게 정의된 교환 명세를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 SEDRIS의 표준 교환 포맷을 이용하여 상용 포맷(3DX MAX)을 정보 내용의 의미 손실없이 교환 포맷으로, 교환 포맷을 상용 포맷으로 변환하기 위한 컨버터를 개발하였다.

  • M&S 분야에서는 오늘날의 시스템의 요구사항을 만족할 뿐만 아니라 미래의 데이터 공유 필요성을 만족할 수 있도록 확장될 수 있는 환경 데이터 표현 및 교환 메카니즘을 필요로 한다. 이러한 메카니즘은 표준화된 방법으로 데이터 표현 및 액세스를 할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 그리고 지형, 해양, 대기 및 우주공간에 대한 통합된 데이터를 포함하는 데이터베이스를 지원해야 한다. SEDRIS는 이러한 목적을 가능케하는 표준으로써, 환경 데이터 사용자 및 생성자에게 명료하게 정의된 교환 명세를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 SEDRIS 기술 및 API를 이용하여 통합환경 영역내에 포함된 데이터 애트리뷰트를 추출할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

지속가능패션교육을 위한 자유학년제 프로그램 개발 (제1보) -프로그램 현황 분석 및 제안을 중심으로- (Development of a Free School Year Program for Sustainable Fashion Education I -Focused on Status Analysis and Suggestion about the Program-)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a free semester program using sustainable materials therefore improving the clothing & textiles section of the middle school textbook and the systematic and in-depth sustainable fashion education based on theme selection activity, as one of free semester system activities in the middle school. Our analysis on the programs, which was performed from 2018 to 2019, showed that the clothing & textiles programs were majorly focused making simple household items through basic needlework and knitting. The programs that related to the sustainable fashion education were environmental programs associated with other textbooks, or mainly included simple upcycling and were mainly operated as arts & physical education or club activities, rather than theme selection programs. According to results from a questionnaire survey on teachers incharge of the system, they had an intention of starting sustainable fashion education program or clothing & textiles section but failed due to low number of participants, practice cost, and time burden. Based on our analysis, this study proposed a 17-session based free semester program that includes the understanding of the sustainable fashions concept, classification of sustainable materials and systematic and stepwise practice in association with the middle school textbook clothing & textile section. The teaching materials developed in this study are expected to be incorporated in the program that helps students understand the right concept of sustainable fashions and respond to the pending environmental issue actively and systematically.
