Land surface temperature (LST) for large areas can only be derived from surface-leaving radiation measured by satellite sensors. These measurements represent the integrated effect of the surface and are superior to point measurements on the ground, e.g. in Urban Heat Island. ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer) is an imaging instrument that is flying on the NASA's Terra satellite launched in December 1999. ASTER acquires 14 spectral bands and can be used to obtain detailed datas of land surface temperature, emissivity, reflectance and elevation. Spatial resolution of 90m of TIR channels of ASTER is useful when we analyze the spatial variations of surface heat fluxes in urban areas. The purpose of this study is to extract the LST using ASTER TIR channels.

This paper describes the design, fabrication and characteristics of a buckling microvalve using a MCA (multilayer ceramic actuator). The mechanical and fluidic analysis are done by finite element method. The designed structure is normally closed microvalve using buckling effect, which is consist of three separate structures; a valve seat die, an actuator die and a small piezoelectric actuator. The flow rate of the fabricated MCA valve was 0-8.13 ml/min at the applied pressure of 0-50 kPa. Maximum non-linearity was 2.24 % FS at a duty cycle of 50 %. The maximum pressure was 230 kPa and the leak rate was $3.03{\times}10^{-8}\;Pa{\cdot}m^{3}/cm^{2}$ at a supply voltage of 100 V.

본 연구는 멀티터치 인터페이스를 이용한 음향 효과 재생 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 적외선 카메라를 통해 인식된 손의 위치를 분석하고 해당위치에 형성된 오브젝트의 물리적 움직임을 통해 미리 설정된 음향과 리듬효과를 얻는다. 본 연구에서는 시 청각적 피드백을 사용하여 보다 풍부한 감성을 자극시켜 엔터테인먼트 효과 외에 아동 치료 목적으로도 사용 할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다.

Acrophobia is an abnormal fear of heights. Medications or cognitive-behavior methods have been mainly used as a treatment. Lately the virtual reality technology has been applied to that kind of anxiety disorders. A virtual environment provides patient with stimuli which arouses phobia, and exposing to that environment makes him having ability to over come the fear. Recently, the patient can take diagnose from a medical doctor in distance with the telemedicine system. The hospital and doctors can get the medical data, audio, video, signals in the actual examination room or operating room via a live interactive system. Audio visual and multimedia conference service, online questionary, ECG signal transfer system, update system are needed in this system. Virtual reality simulation system that composed with a position sensor, head mount display, and audio system, is also included in this telemedicine system. In this study, we tried this system to the acrophobia patient in distance.

In this paper, a new motion detection method using an order-statistic filter is proposed to improve the image quality when the QT subsampling structure is used for reduction of bandwidth of high-resolution TV signals. This new method is applicable to the MUSE system of HDTV and various schemes using the multiple subasmpling with frame-offset for the reduction of bandwidth in highresolution TV signals.

The metabolism of carbinoxamine, 2-[(4-chlorophenyl)-2-pyridinyl-methoxy]-N, N-dimethylethaneamine, was studied in adult male volunteers after an oral dose of 15 mg. Solvent extracts of urine obtained with or without enzyme hydrolysis were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry after derivatization with MSTFA/TMSCl (N-methyl-N-trimethylsilyltrifluoroacetamide/trimethyl chlorosilane). The structures of metabolites were determined based on the electron impact (EI) and chemical ionization (CI) mass spectra. Nonconjugated metabolites identified in the urine were carbinoxamine, nor-carbinoxamine, and bits-nor-carbinoxamine. Parent drug, nor-carbinoxamine, and bits-nor-carbinoxamine were also detected as conjugated forms. These metabolites observed in human urine were different from those previously reported in the rat. Urinary excretions of carbinoxamine were reached to maxima in 4 hours after drug administration with 4.9%-8.1% and 2.5-4.2% of the dose excreted during 24 h as carbinoxamine and its glucuronide, respectively.

Psoriasis is a common genetically determined, chronic, inflammatory skin disease characterized by rounded crythematous, dry, scaling patches. It is caused to blood heat(血熱), shortage of blood(血燥) and blood stasis(血瘀) in oriental medicine. We treated a patient who suffered from chroinc and recurred psoriasis, and who was differenciated with endogenous wind due to shortage blood(血燥生風) with Danguiumjagagam(當歸飮子加減). After 10 days of treatment with Danguiumjagagam(當歸飮子加減) and acupunture, we observed an improvement. Based on this experience, it is considered that oriental medicine can be applied to the treatment of psoriasis.

Dyshidrotic eczema is a eczema making vesicles at the hand and foot with pruritus, tend to chronically recurred. It is caused to retention of Damp-heat in interior(濕熱蘊積), interior heat due to Yin deficiency(陰虛內熱) in Oriental medicine. We treated a patient who suffered from recurred dyshidrotic eczema differentiated with retention of Damp-heat in interior(濕熱蘊積) with Chunggisangagam(淸肌散加減). After about 30 days of treatment with Chunggisangagam(淸肌散加減), acupunture and aroma therapy, we observed an improvement. Based on this experience, it is considered that the Oriental medicine can be applied to the treatment of dyshidrotic eczema.

보건복지부는 "보건복지 내부업무 포탈 및 EAM시스템 구축" 이라 명명된 Enterprise Portal 프로젝트를 공공기관 최초로 추진하여 기존의 정보시스템들이 업무 및 지식 기반 하에 유기적으로 상호 연계 및 연동되는 체계적이고 확장성이 뛰어난 포탈시스템으로 구축하였다. 본 논문에서는 보건복지부 정보화 비전 및 추진 현황에 대한 설명과 EP(Enterprise Portal)시스템 도입의 개념 및 장점에 대해 기술하고, 보건복지부가 Enterprise Portal 시스템을 도입하게 된 추진 배경과 기존 시스템(전자결재, 지식관리, 문서관리, 커뮤니티, 게시판, 검색)에 어떻게 적용하였는지에 대해 설명하고자 한다. 아울러 Enterprise Portal 시스템의 적용으로 인한 실제적 효과 및 고려해야 할 문제점에 대해 기술함으로써 향후 Enterprise Portal 시스템을 도입하고자 하는 공공기관/기업체에 추진 방안 및 대응 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Trigger point injection treatment is an effective and widely applied treatment for myofascial pain syndrome. The trapezius muscle frequently causes myofascial pain in neck area. We herein report a case in which direct pulsed radiofrequency (RF) treatment was applied to the trapezius muscle. We observed that the RF treatment produced continuous pain relief when the effective duration of trigger point injection was temporary in myofascial pain.
