  • For checking influence of load-position and system of stress-transmission in precast concrete bridge deck system, the test composite bridge was made a experiment by the wheel load machine. The result of experiment was the loop joint system of the precast decks has a difference which was the transmission system of longitudinal stress, comparing with general RC bridge deck system. The loop joint system has a behavior independently.

  • A modular manipulator in serial-chain structure usually consists of a series of modularized revolute joint and link modules. The geometric shapes of these modules affect the number of possible configurations of modular manipulator after assembly. Therefore, it is important to design the geometry of the joint and link modules that allow various configurations of the manipulators with minimal set of modules. In this paper, a new 1-DoF(degree of freedom) joint module and simple link modules are designed based on a methodology of joint configurations using a series of Rotational(type-R) and Twist(type-T) joints. Two of the joint modules can be directly connected so that two types of 2-DoFs joints could be assembled without a link module between them. The proposed geometries of joint and link modules expand the possible configurations of assembled modular manipulators compared to existing ones. Modular manipulator system of this research can be a cornerstone of user-centered markets with various solution but low-cost, compared to conventional manipulators of fixed-configurations determined by the provider.

  • An open loop vibrational control for an underactuated mechanical system with amplitude and frequently modulation is investigated. Since there is no direct external input to an unactuated joint, the dynamic coupling between the actuated and unactuated joints is utilized for controlling the unactuated joint. Feedback linearization has been performed to incorporate fully the known nonlinearities of the underactuated system considered. The actuated joints are firstly positioned to their desired locations, and the periodic oscillatory inputs are applied to the actuated joints to move the remaining unactuated joints to their target positions. The amplitudes and frequencies of the vibrations introduced are determined through averaging analysis. A systematic way of obtaining an averaged system for the underactuated system via a coordinate transformation is developed. A control design example of 2R planer manipulator with a free joint with no brake is provided.

  • This study proposes an industrial rehabilitation robot system which can exercise two joints in 3 dimensional spaces. The robot kinematics analysis and the results of studies on each joint for the rehabilitation robot could verify possibility of rehabilitation motion to exercise a joint. The force and torques sensor not only measures a rehabilitation performance of subjects between the abnormal limb and the manipulator, but also carries out an important function of safety device to prevent accidents. Also, limit sensors and emergency stop switch are used for high safety in this system. In this real test, the possibility of rehabilitation robot system is evaluated by C&R ARM I which is similar to upper-limb.

  • In this study, we wolud be developed the fuzzy controlled PGO that controlled the flexion and the extension of each PGO's joint using the bio-signal and FSR sensor. The PGO driving system is to couple the right and left sides of the orthosis by specially designed hip joints and pelvic section. This driving system consists of the orthosis, sensor, control system. An air supply system of muscle is composed of an air compressor, 2-way solenoid valve(MAC, USA), accumulator, pressure sensor. Role of this system provide air muscle with the compressed air at hip joint constantly. According to output signal of EMG sensor and foot sensor, air muscles and assists the flexion of hip joint during PGO gait.

경사로 오르기 동안 슬관절 굴곡각도와 족저압의 특성 비교 (Characteristics of Knee Joint Flexion Angle and Foot Pressure according Slope Climbing)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 경사로를 오르는 동안 슬관절 굴곡각도와 족저압의 차이를 각각 다른 경사도에 따라 분석하고자 하는 것이다. 24명의 건강한 성인 참가자들에게 각각의 경사도($0^{\circ},\;3^{\circ},\;6{\circ},\;9^{\circ}$)를 걷게 한 후, Parotec system을 이용하여 족저압을 측정하였으며, 걷는 모습을 캠코더로 녹화 한 후 Dartfish system을 이용하여 슬관절 각도를 분석하였으며, 수집된 데이터는 SPSS/PC 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 일원배치분산분석으로 분석하였다. 결과는 각 경사로에 따라 슬관절 굴곡 각도는 통계학적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 족저압은 좌측 하지의 발뒤꿈치 외측 부위(1번 감지기), 중족부 내측 부위(9번 감지기), 전족부 내측 부위(15번, 16번 감지기), 그리고 우측 하지에서는 발뒤꿈치 외측 부위(3번 감지기)에서 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 슬관절 각도가 $10{\sim}20^{\circ}$ 사이에서 발뒤꿈치 외측 부위 및 내측 부위의 족저압이 통계학적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났다.

자동차 전장품용 무연솔더 접합부의 시리즈 시험 유효성 (Validation of sequence test method of Pb-free solder joint for automotive electronics)

  • Due to environmental regulations (RoHS, WEEE and ELV) of the European Union, electronics and automotive electronics have to eliminate toxic substance from electronic devices and system. Specifically, reliability issue of lead-free solder joint have an increasing demand for the car electronics caused by ELV banning. The authors prepared engine control unit and cabin electronics soldered with Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu (SAC305). To compare with the degradation characteristics of solder joint strength, thermal cycling test (TC), power-thermal cycling test (PTC) and series tests were conducted. Series tests were conducted for TC and PTC combined stress test using the same sample in sequence and continuously. TC test was performed at $-40{\sim}125^{\circ}C$ and soak time 10 min for 1000 cycles. PTC test was applied by pulse power and full function conditions during 100 cycles. Combined stress test was tested in accordance with automotive company standard. Solder joint degradation was observed by optical microscopy and environment scanning electron microscopy (ESEM). In addition, to compare with deterioration of bond strength of quad flat package (QFP) and chip components, we have measured lead pull and shear strength. Based on the series test results, consequently, we have validated of series test method for lifetime and reliability of Pb-free solder joint in automotive electronics.

  • 본 45。충돌분사에서는 충돌분류의 평균속도, 난류강도, 난류전단응력등을 측정분석하여 기 연구발표한 자료를 토대로 하여 난류의 충돌배합이 활발히 일어나는 영역(X/X$_{0}$=2,3,4)에서 충돌분류의 특성을 통계학적으로 측정연구코저 한다. 따라서 각방향으로 발생하는 난류성분을 Gauss의 확률분포식과 비교검토하고, 2차원 결합확률정도선도를 측정도시하여 2방향의 난류성분들의 결합난동형상을 온라인 컴퓨 터 시스템에 의하여 분석할 계획이다. 또한 난류성분의 고차모멘트를 측정하여 비대칭도와 편평도등도 연구 구명코저 한다.다.

Rapid full-scale expansion joint monitoring using wireless hybrid sensor

  • Condition assessment and monitoring of bridges is critical for safe passenger travel, public transportation, and efficient freight. In monitoring, displacement measurement capability is important to keep track of performance of bridge, in part or as whole. One of the most important parts of a bridge is the expansion joint, which accommodates continuous cyclic thermal expansion of the whole bridge. Though expansion joint is critical for bridge performance, its inspection and monitoring has not been considered significantly because the monitoring requires long-term data using cost intensive equipment. Recently, a wireless smart sensor network (WSSN) has drawn significant attention for transportation infrastructure monitoring because of its merits in low cost, easy installation, and versatile on-board computation capability. In this paper, a rapid wireless displacement monitoring system, wireless hybrid sensor (WHS), has been developed to monitor displacement of expansion joints of bridges. The WHS has been calibrated for both static and dynamic displacement measurement in laboratory environment, and deployed on an in-service highway bridge to demonstrate rapid expansion joint monitoring. The test-bed is a continuous steel girder bridge, the Founders Bridge, in East Hartford, Connecticut. Using the WHS system, the static and dynamic displacement of the expansion joint has been measured. The short-term displacement trend in terms of temperature is calculated. With the WHS system, approximately 6% of the time has been spent for installation, and 94% of time for the measurement showing strong potential of the developed system for rapid displacement monitoring.

PC 접합부의 실물 성능실험을 통한 기계식이음 구조성능 평가 (Evaluation of Mechanical Joint Structural Performance through Actual Performance Testing of PC Connections)

  • In this study, the SBC system, a new mechanical joint method, was developed to improve the constructability of precast concrete (PC) beam-column connections. The reliability of the finite element analysis model was verified through the comparison of experimental results and FEM analysis results. Recently, the intermediate moment frame, a seismic force resistance system, has served as a ramen structure that resists seismic force through beams and columns and has few load-bearing walls, so it is increasingly being applied to PC warehouses and PC factories with high loads and long spans. However, looking at the existing PC beam-column anchorage details, the wire, strand, and lower main bar are overlapped with the anchorage rebar at the end, so they do not satisfy the joint and anchorage requirements for reinforcing bars (KDS 41 17 00 9.3). Therefore, a mechanical joint method (SBC) was developed to meet the relevant standards and improve constructability. Tensile and bending experiments were conducted to examine structural performance, and a finite element analysis model was created. The load-displacement curve and failure pattern confirmed that both the experimental and analysis results were similar, and it was verified that a reliable finite element analysis model was built. In addition, bending tests showed that the larger the thickness of the bolt joint surface of the SBC, the better its structural performance. It was also determined that the system could improve energy dissipation ability and ductility through buckling and yielding occurring in the SBC.
