  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the joint-use libraries from other countries and provide some directions for the joint use library of Korea. The analyses revealed that there were two types of joint-use libraries broadly. One was school/public library, and the other was academic/public library. The advantages of joint-use libraries were the hiring of professional staff, collection increase, various library programs, and the efficient use of library space. The disadvantages of joint use libraries were the problems of the joint-use library located in school, busy space, limited library collection, and the limited function of school library. Success factors for Joint use libraries were the population of community, process of formal planning, community involvement and support, written legal agreement. This study showed two types of joint-use libraries for Korea : school/public library for rural areas and academic/public library for small cities.

  • A P2P technique is the concept to share sources efficiently in distributed environment that is studying a lot. In these P2P systems, the server to support the contents-information have less overloads than the composed system as the server to have resources generally. In this paper, we suggest a P2P system to support conveniences for users that were connected with the information of joint-buying based on social network. The joint-buying information based on social network is supported by peers using a p2p system and these information to intermediate are supported by a P2P server.

  • In this paper, we investigate traffic scheduling for a delay-sensitive multi-hop relay network, and aim to minimize the priority-based end-to-end delay of different data packet via joint relay selection, subcarrier assignment, and power allocation. We first derive the priority-based end-to-end delay based on queueing theory, and then propose a two-step method to decompose the original optimization problem into two sub-problems. For the joint subcarrier assignment and power control problem, we utilize an efficient particle swarm optimization method to solve it. For the relay selection problem, we prove its convexity and use the standard Lagrange method to deal with it. The joint relay selection, subcarriers assignment and transmission power allocation problem for each hop can also be solved by an exhaustive search over a finite set defined by the relay sensor set and available subcarrier set. Simulation results show that both the proposed routing scheme and the resource allocation scheme can reduce the average end-to-end delay.

  • In this paper, a novel spectral-spatial joint sparse representation algorithm for hyperspectral image classification is proposed based on multi-layer superpixels in various scales. Superpixels of various scales can provide complete yet redundant correlated information of the class attribute for test pixels. Therefore, we design a joint sparse model for a test pixel by sampling similar pixels from its corresponding superpixels combinations. Firstly, multi-layer superpixels are extracted on the false color image of the HSI data by principal components analysis model. Secondly, a group of discriminative sampling pixels are exploited as reconstruction matrix of test pixel which can be jointly represented by the structured dictionary and recovered sparse coefficients. Thirdly, the orthogonal matching pursuit strategy is employed for estimating sparse vector for the test pixel. In each iteration, the approximation can be computed from the dictionary and corresponding sparse vector. Finally, the class label of test pixel can be directly determined with minimum reconstruction error between the reconstruction matrix and its approximation. The advantages of this algorithm lie in the development of complete neighborhood and homogeneous pixels to share a common sparsity pattern, and it is able to achieve more flexible joint sparse coding of spectral-spatial information. Experimental results on three real hyperspectral datasets show that the proposed joint sparse model can achieve better performance than a series of excellent sparse classification methods and superpixels-based classification methods.

  • Ultrasonic chaotic excitations combined with sensor prediction algorithms have shown the ability to identify incipient damage (loss of preload) in a bolted joint. In this study we examine a physical experiment on a single-bolt aluminum lap joint as well as a three-dimensional physics-based simulation designed to model the behavior of guided ultrasonic waves through a similarly configured joint. A multiple bolt frame structure is also experimentally examined. In the physical experiment each signal is imparted to the structure through a macro-fiber composite (MFC) patch on one side of the lap joint and sensed using an equivalent MFC patch on the opposite side of the joint. The model applies the waveform via direct nodal displacement and 'senses' the resulting displacement using an average of the nodal strain over an area equivalent to the MFC patch. A novel statistical classification feature is developed from information theory concepts of cross-prediction and interdependence. This damage detection algorithm is used to evaluate multiple damage levels and locations.

  • Joint flexibility is an important factor which affect the process and duration of the therapeutic methods in the filed of occupational therapy. Hip joint flexibility and electromyography (EMG) of major flexor and extensor for the hip joint were examined to understand the biomechanical characteristics of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). Hip joint flexibility increased $18.9^{\circ}$ on average after PNF was performed by a designated assistant on 10 college students. EMGs of quadriceps femoris muscle and hamstring muscles agreed with biomechanical characteristics of proprioceptive organs in muscles.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented a program to measure and to judge the accuracy of yoga postures using Azure Kinect. The program measures all joint positions of the user through Azure Kinect Camera and sensors. The measured values of joints are used as data to determine accuracy in two ways. The measured joint data are determined by trigonometry and Pythagoras theorem to determine the angle of the joint. In addition, the measured joint value is changed to relative position value. The calculated and obtained values are compared to the joint values and relative position values of the desired posture to determine the accuracy. Azure Kinect Camera organizes the screen so that users can check their posture and gives feedback on the user's posture accuracy to improve their posture.

  • Pedestrian assemblage is now a normal phenomenon in modern cities. To maintain an unblocked traffic situation, protect the pedestrians' safety and make preparedness for any emergencies is an important task for police department. Modeling pedestrian dynamics and simulating evacuation process can provide useful information for make accurate decisions. In this paper, by virtue of geographic information technologies, the authors proposed a conceptual framework to simulate pedestrian dynamics and evacuation in an open urban environment.

  • To enhance the educational effect of Multi-Joint Robot have to easily develop motion through the control software. The traditional way of development technique for multi-joint robot is educated with very complicated implementation, but our motion creation tool can be possible to do the creative activity for controling robot movements with ease. This paper mentions to develop the motion creation tool for easily and quickly programming the motion control of multi-joint robot on the educational program. With this tool we easily and exactly provide the education of robot program. In this paper, our suggested tool could not only evade the traditional way of a complicated control program using programming languages but also control easier the robot than the GUI(Graphic User Interface) programming centered on the user's convenience. Additionally, the robot motion's implementation is possible applied with microprocessor experimental equipment educationally to practical use.
