This study has a purpose to analyze quantitatively whether ICT industry provides the qualitative indicator of employment to attract excellent human resources. We investigate the relationships of labor market conditions among ICT manufacturing, non-ICT manufacturing, ICT services, non-ICT services. Therefore, the quantitative and qualitative indicators of employment (wages, working hours, admission and turnover, involuntary retirement, and the duration years of job) are analyzed for the ICT industry and IT workers. In order to quantitatively analyze qualitative indicators such as employment status and longevity, we used employment statistics. In order to compensate for the limitations of employment insurance data, the comparison analysis with the survey data of economically active population of the National Statistical Office was conducted. As a result of this research, ICT service industry has to improve the working conditions of employees and establish an ecosystem for a lifelong career base to grow as a specialist, need to pursue an investigation for ICT worker career shift, and promote standard labor contracts. In addition, protection of employees, ICT-related job vision and social respect have to be perused.

Both self-recognition skill and self-control skill have positive primary effects on their career development skills in self-development competency. Career development skills has a positive secondary effect on not only their goal setting for job seeking but also their searching for job information. It is expected that executable education policies and cases can be more developed on the basis of this study.
Each year research institutions such as the Korea Employment Information Service(KEIS), a government institution established for the advancement of employment support services, and Job Korea, a popular Korean job website, announce first job waiting times after college graduation. This provides useful information understand and resolve youth unemployment problems. However, previous reports deal with the time as a completely observed one and are not appropriate. This paper proposes a new study on first job waiting times after college graduation set to 4 months prior to graduation. In Korea, most college students hunt for jobs before college graduation in addition, the full-fledged job markets also open before graduation. In this case the exact waiting time of college graduates can be right-censored. We apply a Cox proportional hazards model to evaluate the associations between first job waiting times and risk factors. A real example is based on the 2008 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey(GOMS).

The result taken from the job-stress scale showed that women experienced an overall higher level of stress than men while seeking jobs. Furthermore, in terms of the BDI, men exhibited a higher level of depression than women when subjected to job-seeking stress. Finally, the results from the self-esteem scale reveal that men exhibited less self-esteem than women. The purpose of this study was to analyze the recognition of those majoring Library & Information Science on the jobs that they can get and want to work for, employment requirements and their preparation, to identify problems and to suggest how to improve current status. To this end, the jobs and employment rate reported by most of the Depts. of Library & Information Science and the preferred jobs and preparation to those majoring library and information were surveyed with 107 students studying in the Dept. of Library & Information Science in the K University as the subjects. According to the results, 49 jobs were identified as the jobs that those majoring Library & Information Science could get into. In the 1st to 20th job ranking groups, 82.1% of all identified jobs, librarian job took lower ranking as 29.2% while other jobs accounted for 52.9%. However, among the jobs from the 1st to 20th ranking accounting for 96% of all jobs that the subjects wanted to have, the librarian job took 45.8% and other jobs 50.6%, which suggested that the preference on librarian job was slightly increased among the jobs that the subjects wanted to have. Furthermore, the employment requirements were classified into religion, language, scholastic achievement, certification and experience. In accordance with investigation on requirements from employment announcement, 92% were in the generally acceptable level or insufficient level. On the basis of such results, it is suggested to introduce a variety of jobs to students and to provide Case-by-Case employment guidance for improvement of employment rate and social capability of students.
Recently youth unemployment has long remained a nagging problem in Korea, contributing to aggravating the economy as well as the society. As an alternative solution to this problem overseas employment has been encouraged by the government who started the "K-Move" program in 2013 by integrating existing overseas employment, internship, service, and entrepreneurship support programs administered by several governmental ministries. However, employment rate of overseas job seekers was only 24.5% in 2018. This study aimed to recommend strategic directions for increasing the overseas employment rate through a questionnaire survey of the overseas employed. The factual survey results showed the following four strategic directions. First, job seekers should set clear career goals for overseas employment. Second, overseas job seekers should thoroughly prepare in advance in terms of language and related certificates. Third, IT infrastructure for offering information on overseas employment should be improved and upgraded. And, fourth, overseas employment strategies should be tailored to the specific regional or national environment. These strategic directions are expected to be of great help to overseas job seekers as well as government policymakers for formulating and implementing overseas employment support programs.

This study aims at analyzing librarians' job satisfaction at public libraries in Dae-gu, according to various management and employment styles. As a theoretical study, it discusses management styles of public libraries and argues concepts and factors of job satisfaction. Based on the discussion the study selects 7 factors of job satisfaction and conducts a survey. All the respondents are satisfactory to 4 factors; job, co-worker, superior officer, and business affairs, but are not satisfactory to 3 factors; wages, welfare, and employment. There are differences between contract managed libraries and direct managed libraries. At local government's contract managed libraries there is no difference in a sense of job insecurity between full-time and part-time librarians. The remarkable differences between full-time and part-time librarians are concerning participation in decision making processes and discretion in business affairs. The most significant differences between them are about wages, welfare and employment.
Today, one of the important factors that determine the university rating is the employment rate. The jobseekers are using online or offline recruiting services in order to get the desired job information. There are lots of employment supporting systems as like web-based employment agencies and University's job centers, but they are focusing more on providing job information rather than on managing the employment support. In addition, those are insufficient to support business process associated with MOU companies, industry field training, mentoring processors, etc., and to continue to manage and to update the information (resume, personal statement, etc.) about the students which the companies want, and the information about the companies which jobseekers want. Therefore, it is required that the employment supporting system which not only storages the initial data (student and corporate information), but also assist the career placement. In this paper, we considered the specific employment rights management features of the existing employment support system, it could receive real-time job information in the smart phone, we presented the design and construction of the system linked to the Bachelor Information System.
