Objectives: The study was performed to investigate job-seeking stress for university students who have a major in healthcare. Methods: For the analysis, 10 fourth-year students who are willing to get a job were interviewed. Interviews were conducted from October 2011 to November 2011 for 2 weeks. The data were collected with semi-structured open-ended questions and analysed by the method of Consensual Qualitative Research(CQR). Results: The main reasons for the job-seeking stress for students were insufficient preparation for getting a job, uncertainty, anxiety, pressure, and age. A reinforcing factor for stress was family. Conclusions: Universities should provide educational, psychological, and economic supports to job-seeking students majoring healthcare because of their relatively fewer opportunities for getting a job compared to those who have a major in non-healthcare.

The global economic recession caused a great change of the labor environment such as restructurings and unstable employment. This facts brought about an increase in sense of rivalry, over workload, job uncertainty and lowering of self-confidence. Due to the fact that the work process and employing system in construction field is little differ from normal industries, especially, labors working in construction field are much exposed to the job stress. On this study, we survey construction-field labors and made an analysis of the gathered data through the statistic method to reveal what kind of job-stress factors influence on the defects of construction works. As the result, we investigated the truth of the induction factors which cause the job-stress in costruction field and proposed an alternative plan for an effective job-stress management which make the defect rate low.

In the digital transformation paradigm, IT employee work as a key human resource to accept new technologies and to lead their organization to be settled them efficiently. However, due to relatively short term of their job life and high turnover rate, the companies and the organizations are still experiencing problem the lack of IT manpower or turnover. In this study, it attempted to analyze the relationship between IT employee's technostress factors such as techno-overload, techno-complexity, techno-uncertainty, techno-invasion, and techno-insecurity and job burnout through stress coping. To reveal the structural relationship between main variables, the survey was conducted on 318 IT employees. An EFA, CFA, and reliability analysis were performed to confirm reliability and validity, and the structural equation model was conducted to testify research hypotheses. The main results are as follows. First, it was found that techno-uncertainty and techno-insecurity had the significant positive effect on problem focused coping(PFC). And, techno-complexity, techno-uncertainty, and techno-insecurity were found to have a significant positive effect on emotion focused coping(EFC). Second, in the relationship between stress coping and job burnout, it was found that EFC had a significant positive effect on burnout. Third, in the relationship between technostress and burnout, techno-uncertainty and techno-invasion were found to have a significant positive effect on burnout. In addition, it was found that the mediator effect of stress coping between techno-overload and techno-complexity through EFC. Therefore, these outputs are expected to suggest how to motivate IT employees who work as key role in efficient management on IT assets and strengthen competitiveness in digital transformation paradigm.
Today, businesses are under rapidly changing environments that are characterized as stopless competition and uncertainty. Under this circumstance, workers are exposed to much stress that is induced by factors such as lots of job burden, responsibility, role conflicts, role ambiguity, interpersonal conflicts, pressure related to job performance and lots of job-related requests. Unlike workers of other industries, those of distribution business may be more exposed to stress because they serve in unique work conditions. Therefore, distribution workers have an accumulate fatigue of their own, suffering from health problems that are stress-induced. Distribution businesses should positively try to identify factors that fall their workers into stress, making those workers less stressful and preventing their negative job performance. Efforts to reduce workers' stress can not only improve their physical and mental health, but also raise business competitiveness. Thus the purpose of this study is to investigate how much distribution workers' job role, interpersonal relations and job environment are influential to their job stress and thereon determine relations between job stress and job performance.

Manufacturing environments in the real world are subject to many sources of change and uncertainty, such as new job releases, job cancellations, a chance in the processing time or start time of some operation. Thus, the realistic scheduling method should Properly reflect these dynamic environment. Based on the release times of jobs, JSSP (Job Shoe Scheduling Problem) can be classified as static and dynamic scheduling problem. In this research, we mainly consider the dynamic JSSP with continually arriving jobs. The goal of this research is to develop an efficient scheduling method based on GA (Genetic Algorithm) to address dynamic JSSP. we designed scheduling method based on SGA (Sing1e Genetic Algorithm) and PGA (Parallel Genetic Algorithm) The scheduling method based on GA is extended to address dynamic JSSP. Then, This algorithms are tested for scheduling and rescheduling in dynamic JSSP. The results is compared with dispatching rule. In comparison to dispatching rule, the GA approach produces better scheduling performance.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the predictive powers of the five technostress creators - techno-overload, techno-invasion, techno-complexity, techno-insecurity, and techno-uncertainty - in job satisfaction and teacher efficacy of primary school teachers in Korea when they incorporated mobile technology into teaching. A questionnaire was designed to measure the level of teacher's stress from technology, job satisfaction and teacher efficacy. Data were collected from 164 teachers. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to explain which area of technostress led to varying degrees of job satisfaction and teacher efficacy. The results showed that techno-complexity alone predicted both job satisfaction and teacher efficacy. The reason why techno-complexity was the only predictor is that teachers would have first needed to understand how to incorporate mobile technology into teaching, before feeling overloaded, invaded, insecure, or uncertain about it, meaning techno-complexity precedes other constructs. Therefore, the only stress factor that affected them was how to understand the complexity of mobile technology. This calls for adequate training and support from schools and governments in order for the teachers to fully incorporate technology into teaching.

The purpose of this study is to analyze job stress factors of hospital workers, which has an effect on their turnover intention. For identifying the influences on turnover intention, types of hospitals (university hospital, general hospital, private hospital) and types of workers(office workers, technical workers, and nursing staffs) were categorized. We went to the hospitals and carried out the survey under the cooperation with the concerned hospitals. The period of survey was from 23. Sep. 2013 to 30. Oct. 2013, and 293 worker participated in the survey. On the basis of the previous study, the measurement of job stress factors and turnover intention was set up as the survey method, and its reliability and validity were measured. The stress factors were subdivided into seven factors; occupational climate, organizational system, autonomy job control, uncertainty of getting a new job, job ability to perform, job demand, job ambiance. The value of job stress factors by the measuring instrument, Cronbach's Alpha, was 0.805 and the value of the subordination variable of turnover intention was 0.881. IBM SPSS Statistics 21 was used as the statistic analysis tool and the descriptive statistics about job stress factors. As a result, the turnover intention were analyzed depending on the types of hospitals, job groups, working years, and gender. Result shows that the job stress factors are differed according to the types of hospitals, and these job stress factors have influence on turnover intention. Therefore, it could be considered that, if the hospital managers find out the major job stress factors of their employees and resolve them in advance, the job stress of the hospital workers and their turnover intention can be reduced.
The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of perceived job insecurity on job crafting behaviors among employees from two different cultures: Jamaica and South Korea. Growth needs strength was also examined as a moderating variable on the job insecurity/job crafting relationship. This study collected 102 data samples from working individuals from Jamaica and 98 from South Korea. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and the hierarchical regression analysis were used in order to analyze the data. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 24.0. Our research results indicated that perceived job insecurity has a significant effect on employees job crafting behaviors. The relationship between perceived job insecurity and job crafting behaviors differs based on culture. In addition, employees growth need strength moderates the relationship between the two variables. Although this study has some limitations, it contributed to the stress-coping literature by showing that individuals will engage in coping behaviors when they perceived job insecurity in the organization. In addition, culture and individual drive or need for growth plays an important role in how individuals cope with perceived stress or uncertainty.
Post-merger integration(PMI) plays a very important role in the success of M&A. Therefore, based on previous studies on PMI, this study discusses the relationship between communication of acquired enterprise members and uncertainty reduction, organizational satisfaction, organizational trust in the PMI process, focusing on the moderating effect of business area consistency between the acquisition and the acquired company. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the hypothesis of the relationship between variables was established and an empirical analysis was conducted. In order to collect data, a survey was conducted on members of the acquired company in China, and 317 questionnaires were finally collected and used for empirical analysis. For the collected data, the research hypothesis was verified using SPSS 26.0. The results of the study confirmed that communication has a positive effect on the reduction of uncertainty, job satisfaction, and organizational trust perceived by members of the acquired company, and that the consistency in business areas between the acquisition and the acquired company weakens the relationship between communication and uncertainty. In the positive relationship between communication and job satisfaction, organizational trust, the effect of strengthening the moderating variable has not been confirmed, but rather the weakening control effect was found. Based on these findings, the strategy of communicating with the members of the acquired company in the PMI process is meaningful for the success or failure of the merger and provides theoretical and practical implications for proposing differentiated human resources management measures according to M&A type.
Work engagement and job burnout are crucial problems in Korea, particularly in the business environment, and they also indicate people's motivation. Online-based teams in e-business also have these issues. Especially the role of the leader in this new type of teams is more crucial for members' motivation, behavior, and performance. Contingency leadership theories posit that different situations need different traits or behaviors of a leader. For an online-based team, which is internet-based team in e-business, a leader should use specific communication strategies to enhance a team's performance and members' motivation. In an online-based team and an offline-based team, the ways in which leaders motivate members will be different. This paper suggests particular communicative strategies for leaders of online situations. Online-based team members communicate using mobile phones or IT tools, and leaders mayinfluences members in virtual meetings. Moreover, online-based leadership needs to be more entrepreneurial and risk encouraging, and less conservative than offline-based leadership. In addition, online-based leadership should be energetic, decisive, adaptable, and inspiring, and furtherutilize communication tools such as being more gregarious/talkative, assertiveness, linguistic diversity and affect. This paper explains the roles of communicative elements such as coordination, expression, direction-giving/uncertainty reduction, empathy, meaning-making, satisfaction, and competence to decrease job burnout and to increase work engagement. The purpose of this study is to suggest communication strategies' differentiated influences on work engagement and job burnout in an online-based team.
