병원간호사 이직의도에 관한 문헌 분석 (A Review of Research on Hospital Nurses' Turnover Intention)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review articles, thesis and dissertation on turnover intention of hospital nurses in order to identify overall trends in turnover intention of nurses and suggest strategies for reducing turnover intention. Method: Thirty research papers on turnover intention of nurses were reviewed. Result: These papers were journal articles and thesis regarding nurses who worked in general wards, intensive nursing units, and emergency rooms in hospital. The tools used to measure turnover intention were Lawler (1983), Mobley (1982), and Lee (1995), and others. Most of tools were composed of 1-11 items, with 4-7 point Likert scales. Reported reliability was .55 to .91. The mean score for turnover intention was between 2.40 and 3.85. The important results revealed that job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and stress affected turnover intention of hospital nurses. Conclusion: The findings from this review indicate that to reduce turnover intention for hospital nurses, a nurse manager should increase job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and reduce stress by developing a good culture and work climate. Moreover it is necessary to assess stress and job satisfaction of nurses, and to manage nurses' welfare, including night duty policy, salary, and career ladder.

Usefulness of medical review in the insurance claims

  • Background : Many of internists have been working for insurance industry. Insurance medicine is use of medical knowledge for insurance industry. There is social role of insurance medicine in terms of soundness of insurance administration. Recently social role of internists also have been being watched. Although theme of insurance medicine is medical risk selection, insurance claims administration also needs medical experts'opinion. There are not any corroborative study of medical consulting for insurance claims. Among insurance industry, someone called this medical review of insurance claims as 'medical claims review'. Aim : To investigate usefulness of medical review of insurance claims. Design : Questionnaire survey with claim staffs in one of insurance claim adjustment company in Korea. Methods : 265 claim staffs were divided into 4 groups and conducted survey using a questionnaire of 20 questions. Utility score, job satisfaction score, and difficult factors of claims administration were measured. Results : Utility score and job satisfaction score are highest in medical claims review group. The most difficult in claim administration to claim staffs was demonstrated to medical knowledge. Conclusion : Medical review of insurance claims is proved to be worthy. Document-based consulting method, namely medical claims review, is more useful than telephone-based simple query among claim staffs...Subjects of the medical claims review are medical record and it's principle is independent medical examination with evidence-based approach, it also has role of protecting fraud of insurance claims. Two main question types of medical claims review are verification and advice.

  • This study focuses on what factors influence the job satisfaction of KNR. For solving this research question, three important factors affected job satisfaction are selected through literature review : harmonics communication, fairness of personnel management, satisfaction of human relations. This study tests that the cognitive degrees of above factors are defending on different personal characteristics, and also searches the relationship between job satisfaction and the three factors. This study makes the hypothesis based on a conceptual model elicited from the outline of the previous study. To verify the hypothesis, using SPSS WIN 7.5 package is practiced.

  • It is revealed that there is still considerable interest in job satisfaction and that a growing number of methods are being used to study satisfaction. In particular I reviewed studies using methodologies such as interviews, questionnaires, and diary studies. Overall. my review suggests that working roles change for individuals and theoretical perspectives fade or rise for scholars, the experience of job satisfaction continues to play a central role in understanding life at work.

  • This study has uncovered some important relationships among employees perceptions of distributive justice and procedural justice and organizational commitment and job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. The present study attempts, first, to identify the perceived justice in promotion and transfer, performance evaluation, pay raise, job allocation and job fire. Second, to determine the relative importance of DJ(distributive justice) and PJ(procedural justice). Add to that two's justice's impact organizational committment, job satisfaction and to examine relationships of organizational committment, job satisfaction. Third, to examine relationships of organizational committment, job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. The research is the identification of a modest but significant relationship between the two justice and organizational commitment and job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. The result make it clear that employee find that right personnel management of fairness.

중국인 근로자의 직무성과 향상을 위한 기업문화 적응에 관한 연구 (Corporate Cultural Adaptation for the Job Performance of Chinese Employees in Korea)

  • Chinese employees in Korea have been the leading workers, about 260,000 of 700,000(3% of total employees), in our foreigner's job market. The corporate cultural adaptation of Chinese people is very important to the corporate productivity as well as the Korea economy. The objectives of this paper are to compare the corporate cultural adaptation and job performance of Chinese employees in Korea and to propose the efficient business policies for firm employing Chinese. The propositions could be summarized that language skills and pre-training are positive to the corporate cultural adaptation. This adaptation improved the job performance as a role of motivators in their firms. The job satisfaction and job involvement based on the corporate cultural adaptation are positive relationship to the job performance.

임상간호사의 임파워먼트와 직무만족에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 (Empowerment and Job Satisfaction among Clinical Nurses in South Korea: Systematic Review)

  • Purpose: To synthesize and identify the studies that delineated the relationship between empowerment and job satisfaction in clinical nurses in Korea. Methods: Electronic databases were searched, including KmBase, KoreaMed. riss4u, National Assembly Digital Library and National Discovery for Science Leaders (NDSL) The search terms included nurse, satisfaction and empowerment. Only papers published in Korean were included. Results: Twelve studies, from 156 references screened, were included the final analysis. All studies were non-experimental and used correlational analysis. A significant positive relationship between structural or psychological empowerment and job satisfaction was found. Older nurses with longer clinical experience and higher education background were more likely to have high level of structural and psychological empowerment and job satisfaction. Conclusion: The study results indicate that to produce an empowering work environment, nurse managers have to create a supportive organizational culture, and provide access to resources and opportunity as well as to strengthen emotional support.

사례관리자의 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Affective Factors of Case Managers' Occupational Stress)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to learn the affective factors of case managers' occupational stress. Method: A total of 986 participants responded to a self-administered questionnaire that included 24 items of Korean Occupational Stress Questionnaire Short Form (KOSQSF), job satisfaction index, health behaviors, general characteristics, and variables related to work. The data collection of research was done from 17th to 21th of September, 2007. The data were analysed by t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression with SPSS 11.1 package program. Result: The results of this study were as follows: The overall job satisfaction rate of men and women was highly than that of the Korean worker's standard. There were statistically significant differences in occupational stress in work place, work department, work position, smoking, treatment in out-patient clinic, subjective & relative health-status, work load, supervisor's review on work-ability, and job satisfaction. According to the multi-variate analysis, occupational stress(47.6%) was related to job satisfaction, workload, individual work-ability, supervisor's review on work-ability, health status and gender. Conclusion: Occupational stress varied depending on the ten variables and was influenced by job satisfaction(35.7%) and 5 other variables. The results suggest that further follow-up study on case managers is necessary to relieve their occupational stress.

  • Today, businesses are under rapidly changing environments that are characterized as stopless competition and uncertainty. Under this circumstance, workers are exposed to much stress that is induced by factors such as lots of job burden, responsibility, role conflicts, role ambiguity, interpersonal conflicts, pressure related to job performance and lots of job-related requests. Unlike workers of other industries, those of distribution business may be more exposed to stress because they serve in unique work conditions. Therefore, distribution workers have an accumulate fatigue of their own, suffering from health problems that are stress-induced. Distribution businesses should positively try to identify factors that fall their workers into stress, making those workers less stressful and preventing their negative job performance. Efforts to reduce workers' stress can not only improve their physical and mental health, but also raise business competitiveness. Thus the purpose of this study is to investigate how much distribution workers' job role, interpersonal relations and job environment are influential to their job stress and thereon determine relations between job stress and job performance.

잡 크래프팅에 관한 통합적 문헌 고찰: 국내 양적연구를 중심으로 (An Integrative Literature Review of Job Crafting: Focused on Empirical Studies in South Korea)

  • 본 연구는 국내 잡 크래프팅 연구에 대한 기초자료와 향후 연구의 방향을 제시하고자 통합적 문헌 고찰을 실시하였다. 이를 위하여 2019년 8월까지 KCI 등재지 혹은 등재후보지에 발표된 논문 중 양적연구 61편을 연구대상으로 선정하여, 용어번역, 측정도구와 하위요인 구성, 변인 활용, 선행변인, 결과변인 등에 대해 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 국내 잡 크래프팅 연구는 2015년에 들어서면서 본격적으로 양적인 확대가 이루어졌으며, 심리학, 인적자원개발학, 경영학, 관광학 등의 분야에서 발표되고 있다는 점이 확인되었다. 또한 'job crafting'에 대한 매우 다양한 용어번역이 활용되고 있다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 측정도구와 관련하여서는 Job Crafting Questionnaire, Job Crafting Scale 등이 가장 활발히 활용되고 있다는 점이 밝혀졌다. 또한 잡 크래프팅은 국내의 양적연구에서 독립변인, 종속변인, 매개변인 등으로 고르게 활용되고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 끝으로 국내 연구에서는 총 48개의 선행변인과 29개의 결과변인이 잡 크래프팅과 유의미한 관계를 맺고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 일부 변인은 연구에 따라 선행요인과 결과변인 모두로 활용될 수 있다는 사실도 밝혀졌다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 이론적 시사점과 실천적 시사점 및 향후 연구의 제언도 본 연구는 포함하고 있다.
