Mean scores for job involvement were 3.0879 on a 5 point scale. 2. In the personal variables, professional experience(t=-2.18, p=.031), position(t=2.34, p=.021), and age(F=-1.94, p=.038) were statistically significant in job involvement. 3. The variables to job characteristic were statistically significant in job involvement: job challenge (r=.4785, p=.000), role ambiguity (r=-.3141, p=.000), task significance (r=.2714, p=.000), and role conflict(r=-.2166, p=.003). 4. The purpose of this study was to investigate the job stress factors of aircraft composite material part manufacturing workers using survey based on 'Job stress factors evaluation tool for Koreans' that was developed by KOSHA in 2003. Two hundred and fifty workers participated in this study, and among them 204 responses were analyzed for this study due to the unreliability and insincerity of responses. The eight job stress factors which are physical environment, job autonomy, job insecurity, organizational system, workplace culture, unfair compensation, relationship conflict, and job requirement were analyzed. The results showed that the stress level of the six job stress factors which are physical environment, job autonomy, job insecurity, organizational system, workplace culture, unfair compensation was relatively higher than that of other industry workers. Generally, all eight job stress factors showed higher stress with temporary workers than with permanent workers, and especially job autonomy, job insecurity, organizational system, and unfair compensation factors showed statistically significant differences (p<0.05). Since the temporary workers are insecure with their job, weak position in organization, having little self-control for the job and lower pay level than that of permanent workers though the job is as same as permanent workers', the stress level of above job stress factors would be much higher than that of the other factors. The group of unsatisfactory with workplace showed higher job stress than group of satisfactory with workplace in all job stress factors, as expected, at the statistically significance level (p<0.05). From the results of this study, the work loss due to the job stress could be prevented, and accurate stress factors could be removed at the workplace. Also the job stress management program can be implemented to improve the work efficiency and the workers' quality of life.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of job stress on job satisfaction according to interpersonal relationship type among school dieticians and nutrition teachers. The online survey was conducted from Oct. 26th to Nov. 7th, 2017 in 2,000 randomly selected dieticians and nutrition teachers in the capital area. A total of 453 collected questionnaires were used for analysis. SPSS v.21.0 Statistical Package Program was used for the statistical process. For the results regarding interpersonal relationship type of dieticians, open-type (73.3%) was the highest, followed by self-assertive-type (23.0%), isolated-type (2.6%), and careful-type (1.1%). Regarding overall job satisfaction, 'human relation' was the highest, followed by 'job itself', 'working environment', and 'personal rating & welfare system', in that order. According to interpersonal relationship type, in the case of 'open-type' or 'careful-type', job satisfaction was relatively high. Regarding overall job stress, 'job demand' was the highest, followed by 'lack of reward', 'organizational system', 'interpersonal conflict', 'occupational climate', 'job insecurity', and 'insufficient job control', in that order. In accordance with interpersonal relationship type, overall job stress index was high in terms of 'self-assertive-type' or 'careful-type'. For the results of analyzing the correlation between job satisfaction and job stress index, all areas showed statistically significant negative correlations. Multiple regression analysis was performed to study the effects of job stress on job satisfaction mediating interpersonal relationship type. Job stress had different effects on job satisfaction in terms of 'open-type' and 'self-assertive type'. In conclusion, different strategies are needed for dieticians with different interpersonal relationship types to improve job satisfaction and to reduce job stress.
This study was carried out to investigate the job performance, perception of job importance, and job satisfaction in dietitians working in geriatric hospitals in Busan. A survey was conducted from April 28 to June 30, 2011, and the data were analyzed using the SPSS program. The age of over 41 group showed higher job performance in terms of sanitation and safety management than the age of under 25 group but showed lower job performance in terms of nutrition management than the age of 31~40 group. The subjects who worked for shorter than 2 years at their present jobs showed the lower job performance in terms of menu management and accounting management than the other groups, whereas those who worked in 'over 200 bed' hospitals showed the higher job performance in terms of sanitation and safety management than the others. The subjects who worked for longer than 6 years showed the higher job satisfaction in terms of communication and working environment than the others. Job performance showed a significant positive correlation with perception of job importance, whereas it showed no significant correlation with job satisfaction. More work experience correlated with a higher monthly income, and younger workers showed higher job performance. Younger age and more work experience at a present job correlated with a higher perception of job importance. More work experience at a present job, higher monthly income, and shorter work experience were correlated with higher job satisfaction. These results suggest that it would be effective to adopt training programs for appropriate nutrition service and provide continuous education programs for professional development.
