치과위생사의 직무스트레스와 직무만족도의 관련성 (Relationship between job stress and job satisfaction of dental hygienists)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify Relationship between job stress and job satisfaction of dental hygienists Methods: The subjects of this study were to 173 dental hygienists who work in dental diseases and clinics in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, and through the Internet link using web questionnaire from August 1 to October 30, 2023. Distributed and collected. The collected data were analyzed using an IBM SPSS ver. 26. Results: As for general characteristics, job stress was high in the 40s age group, work experience was high in the 1-4 year group, and job satisfaction was high in the 4-7 year or more group. As factors affecting job satisfaction, it was found that the lower the Self- determination of duties , the lower the Job insecurity, and the lower the Inadequate compensation, the higher the job satisfaction. Conclusions: From the above results, in order to increase the job satisfaction of dental hygienists, it is necessary to ensure stable employment and at the same time allow them to focus on tasks specific to dental hygiene, as job satisfaction decreases if a lot of chores unrelated to dental hygiene work are performed, and Self- determination of duties and an appropriate compensation system must be established. If an excessive workload is given or there is frequent overtime work, compensation should be made commensurate with experience or ability, and in the case of frequent overtime work, appropriate compensation should be provided through allowances or incentives.

응급실 간호사의 폭력경험, 소진 및 직무만족도간의 관련성 (Relationship of the Experience of Violence to Burnout and Job Satisfaction in Emergency Department Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the relationship between experiences of violence, and burnout and job satisfaction of emergency department (ED) nurses and to provide basic information to improve quality of life for nurses and quality of nursing care by increasing the ability of nurses to deal with violent situations and thus, improve job satisfaction. Method: Participants (n=153) were recruited in S and B cities from October 16 to December 22, 2007. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. Results: Level for ED nurse burnout was 2.54 out of a possible 4, and for ED nurse job satisfaction, 2.81 out of a possible 5. There were significant differences according to sex (t=-3.217, p=.002), total clinical career (F=5.805, p<.05), and clinical career in the ED (F=1.640, p<.01). There was a significant positive correlation between violence experience and burnout (r=.500, p<.001), and significant negative correlations between violence experience and job satisfaction (r=-.300, p<.001), and between burnout and job satisfaction (r=-.492, p<.001). Conclusion: The findings from this study indicate that experiences of violence in the ED decrease work efficiency of the nurses and increase burnout. So, it is important to reduce occurrences of violence in ED and to prepare programs for dealing with violence and providing emotional support in cases of violence directed at nurses.

직장 내 가족친화제도가 취업모의 직업만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Work-family Balance Policies on Working Mothers' Job Satisfaction)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide background information to help develop family-friendly policies which aid in the ability for employees to balance family and work, and to increase the effectiveness and feasibility of these policies at work sites. We surveyed the performance and usage of work-family balance policies among working mothers with young children. We also examined the factors influencing the job satisfaction of working mothers. The study sample consisted of 237 working mothers with young children. We found that family economic status, working mother's experience of family leave or maternity leave, and easiness of policy use are important factors in a working mother's job satisfaction. Especially when individual and job characteristics are controlled, the most influential factor on working mothers' job satisfaction was the experience of family leave or maternity leave. In addition, the easiness of family-friendly policy use was a significant factor in working mothers' job-satisfaction.

직무요구-자원 모델에 기반을 둔 중환자실 간호사의 소진 구조모형 (The Structural Equation Model of Burnout of the Critical Care Nurses Based on the Job Demand-Resource Model)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct and test a structural equation model of burnout of the critical care nurses based on the job demand-resource model. Methods: A structured questionnaire was completed by 414 critical care nurses. The relationships between concepts of job stress, empathic ability, resilience, job satisfaction, compassion fatigue and burnout were analyzed. Using SPSS WIN 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 programs, the direct and indirect effects of factors affecting burnout among critical care nurses were calculated and modelled. Results: The modified model was yielded as follows: Chi-square= 216.59, GFI= .93, AGFI= .89, NFI= .90, CFI= .93, RMSEA= .07, SRMR= .06 and showed good fit indices. Job satisfaction and compassion fatigue had mediation effects between other three exogenous variables and burnout. Conclusion: The major findings of this study indicate that it is important to develop a support program for critical care nurse in order to improve their job satisfaction and ameliorate their compassion fatigue.

Multi-dimensional Emotional Intelligence Effects on Intrinsic/Extrinsic Motivation and Job Satisfaction: Analysis Using Laborer Perceived Organizational Support

  • Purpose - Based on previous studies, this study extends current research and investigates whether the sub-factors of emotional intelligence increase job satisfaction or employee intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and perceived organizational support. Research design, data, and methodology - This study categorizes service employees' (consultants) emotional intelligence into four sub-factors: regulation of emotion, appraisal of emotion, utilization of emotion, and expression of emotion. The study then investigates the sub-factor effects on job satisfaction. A total of 353 valid questionnaires were collected. Results - The results of the path analysis showed that appraisal, utilization, and expression of emotion had a positive effect on intrinsic motivation, and utilization of emotion had a positive effect on extrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivation had a positive effect on perceived organizational support and job satisfaction, and perceived organizational support had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Conclusion - As consultants' utilization of emotion is rendered as the ability to use emotion to improve performance, the conclusion is that such factors as monetary performance incentives are important in order to boost job satisfaction of the consultants.

The Association between Fair Hiring Policy and Employee Job Satisfaction: Theoretical Approach in the Literature Analysis

  • Purpose - This study aims to build other studies and research on the perception and association of fair hiring policy and employee job satisfaction. The reviews and further research of the performance appraisal and employee satisfaction topics provided a basis to conduct this study based on the challenges that result from equality hiring perception on the performance appraisal on the job satisfaction by employees. Research design, data, and methodology - The author collected many textual contexts from mostly peer-reviewed academic journals, which means that academic comprehensive integrity can be obtained by qualitative approach for this study with discussing and following a constructive review analysis. The content analysis aims to determine a textural dataset in the longtime frame from the newest textural information. Result - There is little doubt that this study was significant and relevant to the relationship between fair hiring policy and worker's job satisfaction, indicating that an organization that practices a fair hiring policy positively affects employee job satisfaction. After all, the employee needs are well catered for and meet appropriately. Conclusion - This study suggests that fairness extensively relies on the organization's ability to identify and eliminate any form of performance challenges regarding equity and has proved and determined the significant relationship between fair hiring policy and employees' job satisfaction

영양사의 전문직 자아개념이 직무만족도와 고객지향성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the effects of Professional Self-Concept of Dietitian's on Job Satisfaction and Customer Orientation)

  • 최근 국내의 외식산업은 양적, 질적으로 많은 성장을 해 왔다. 그 중 단체급식 시장도 많은 성장은 물론 무한 경쟁화되면서 영양사의 역할도 다변화되어 왔다고 할 수 있다. 전문직 자아개념은 전문 직업인으로서의 자기 자신의 업무에 대한 느낌과 스스로의 견해를 말하며 긍정적인 전문직자아개념을 가진 전문직업인 일수록 업무 수행능력이 높아진다. 본 연구는 영양사의 전문직 자아개념이 직무 만족도와 고객지향성에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석을 실시하였고, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 전문직 자아개념의 하위요인인 지도력, 용통성, 기술, 의사소통 중에서 기술과 의사소통이 직무 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그 중에서 기술의 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타나 영양사 업무와 직접 관련된 기술 요인에 대해 영양사 스스로 긍정적으로 평가할수록 직무 만족도가 높다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 고객지향성의 경우에는 의사소통과 기술의 순으로 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 영양사로서 고객의 필요와 욕구를 충족시키기 위해 노력하는 태도는 고객 혹은 타인과의 공감 능력이 높다고 스스로 평가하는 경우에 높아지는 것을 알 수 있었다.

유치원 교사의 공감 능력이 긍정심리자본을 통해 직무 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Kindergarten Teacher's Empathy Ability on Job Stress through Positive Psychological Capital)

  • 유치원 교사는 영유아를 밀접하게 옆에서 보육하는 역할을 하며, 교사의 높은 공감 능력은 유아의 감정 및 의견을 존중하는 데 도움을 주며, 다양한 관계를 긍정적으로 이끌어 궁극적으로 자신의 직무만족감 및 자신감이 향상된다고 연구되었으나 관련한 구체적인 연구 결과는 부족하다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 유치원 교사의 공감 능력이 긍정 심리자본을 통해 직무 스트레스에 미치는 영향이 어떠한지 알아보고, 긍정 심리자본 및 공감 능력을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 이루기 위해 연구 방법은 서울 및 경기 지역의 유치원 교사 212명을 대상으로 하여 설문 조사 결과를 바탕으로 각 변수의 인과관계를 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 유치원 교사의 공감 능력 중 정서적 공감 능력이 긍정 심리자본의 각 요소에 모두 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 공감 능력 중 인지적 공감능력이 긍정 심리자본의 각 요소에 모두 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유치원 교사의 긍정 심리자본 전체와 직무 스트레스에 영향을 살펴본 결과, 자기효능감과 복원력에 부정적인 영향을 미친다고 나타났다.

Security관련 종사자의 무도수련이 직무수행에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Practicing Martial Art upon job Performance of Employees Engaged in Security Industry)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine effects of practicing martial arts upon job performance of employees engaged in security industry. For positive investigation, 400 employees were questioned using some questionnaires; as a result, we obtained the following conclusion of the relation between the extent of the practicing martial art and the ability of performing their jobs. First, the more they practice martial art, the better and higher their mental health and psychological stability more than control group. Especially, when crime is reported to them or they arrest a criminal taken in an act of crime, the degree of their anxiety was low and they strongly expose self-confidence, their view of moral achievement and their sense of morality. Second, the more they practice martial art, the higher their ability of arrestment a criminal in an act and self-defense is. Because practicing martial art make their vital power and physical strength promoted. Third, the more they practice martial art, the more sincere the trust and friendship among colleagues are. As well they seem to feel strong solidarity oneanother. But practicing martial art appeared that it doesnt have an effect on coping with complications among generations and the gaps between master sergeant and them. Fourth, employees engaged in security industry practicing martial art is not only used in job performance merely as a technique; it is also effective on the mind that it make their anxiety dissolved and give them self-confidence.

The Effective Factors of Professional Learning : Study on Accounting Firms in Korea

  • The purpose of this study is to substantiate the affecting factors of informal learning outcomes for professions in various dimensions of an individual and organization. In specific, the study analyzed the effects of learning motivation, job characteristics, and a supportive learning environment which have on task-related knowledge acquisition, adapting to organization and understanding contexts, relationship formation, and improving self-development-ability. The participants of the study were 261 professionals working at four major accounting firms in South Korea. Multiple regression models were applied step by step for analysis. In this study, the informal learning of professionals working at four major accounting firms is influenced by various factors of learning motivation, job characteristics, and a supportive learning environment. The detailed analysis results were as follows. Firstly, peer-support showed the most positive effect on task-related knowledge acquisition. Secondly, for adapting to organization and understanding contexts, task autonomy showed the greatest effect. Thirdly, peer-support was found to be the most important factor for relationship formation. Fourthly, for improving self-development ability, learning goal orientation showed to be the most important factor. The various factors facilitated the professional learning by empirical identification. The study presented practical implications for creating an effective informal learning support environment.
