This paper discovers the energy loss factors through the insulation diagnosis of houses or buildings, and proposes directions for energy efficiency improvement. The energy efficiency factor of a building consists of insulation diagnosis, thermal bridge diagnosis, window diagnosis, airtight diagnosis, and equipment diagnosis. Among the residents and facilities in the energy welfare blind spot, an energy efficiency diagnosis was conducted for one senior citizen building located in Naju-si, Jeollanam-do, and energy efficiency diagnosis was conducted after insulation was installed. Energy measurement, diagnosis and analysis were performed using the IoT-based integrated wired/wireless energy diagnosis platform, Energy Finder. As a result of comparison, an overall energy saving rate of 16.38% was achieved. Annual heating energy consumption per unit area decreased from 333.51kWh before construction to 277.35kWh after construction, and annual cooling energy consumption per unit area decreased from 5.51kWh before construction to 5.22kWh after construction. The annual primary energy consumption per unit area decreased from 464.52kWh before construction to 403.69kWh after construction, and the annual energy cost was reduced from 3,063,307.14 won before construction to 2,641,072.49 won after construction. The additional improvement work is needed on the standards affecting energy efficiency other than insulation.
This study was carried out to survey the flora of Hongdo Island in Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Specimens collected from previous Hongdo flora studies were reexamined using a relevant biodiversity database, and field surveys were carried out 22 times from April of 2003 to October of 2020. Based on the specimens collected during both previous studies and this study, the identified vascular plants of Hongdo consisted of 472 taxa comprising 102 families, 296 genera, 425 species, 6 subspecies, and 41 varieties. Among them, 111 taxa are newly recorded in this study, and 6 taxa are described in detail in terms of their morphological characteristics and habitat. Also, 29 taxa were reviewed or re-identified with corresponding taxonomic annotations. In Korea, Hongdo represents the northern distributional limit of the 4 taxa of Goodyera biflora, Damnacanthus major, Calanthe aristulifera, and Hemerocallis hongdoensis. Moreover, Hosta yingeri and Saussurea polylepis are endemic to Hongdo and nearby islands in Korea. Distribution maps of these species were prepared. Protected species designated by the Ministry of Environment were 7 taxa consisting of 2 taxa of level I, specifically Sedirea japonica and Neofinetia falcata, and 5 taxa of level II, which were Cymbidium macrorhizon, Woodwardia japonica, Dendrobium moniliforme, Calanthe aristulifera, and Bulbophyllum inconspicuum. Red list plants as designated by the National Institute of Biological Resources numbered 11 taxa. Naturalized plants numbered 40 taxa.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine psychosocial factors related to burnout of social welfare officers working in Jeonnam Province. Methods : A total of 395 social welfare officers (male 99, female 296) working in 22 areas of Jeollanam-do province, were subjects of this study. We examined socio-demographic factors, using a self-reporting questionnaire. Subjects were asked to complete the Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS), Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D), Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), and the Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale (GSS), to assess psychosocial factors affecting to burnout of social welfare officers. Results : Among 395 subjects, 221 (55.9%) reported recent experiences of burnout. There was no significant difference in age between two groups, divided by burnout. Sex (p<0.001), rank (p=0.003), working period (p=0.034), depression (p<0.001) revealed differences between the burnout group and control group. Scores of PSS (p<0.001) were higher, while the scores of GSS (p<0.001) were lower in the burnout group, than control group. Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that female (OR 2.840, 95%CI 1.466-5.504, p=0.002), depressive high-risk group (OR 6.824, 95%CI 2.893-16.096, p<0.001) PSS (OR 1.247, 95%CI 1.153-1.349, p<0.001) and GSS (OR 0.950, 95%CI 0.930-0.971, p<0.001), were significantly associated with burnout. Conclusion : We found that some factors, were associated with experienced burnout in social welfare officers. Depressive symptoms were the strongest associative factor, for burnout in public servants in charge of social welfare. Sex, stress and self-efficacy also correlated with burnout, and especially self-efficacy was a protecting factor.
Using the results from laboratory soil test, field vane test and piezocone penetration test, the engineering characteristics of the soft ground at east side of Gwangyang Port, which is located at south coast of Jeollanam-do, were investigated and optimal piezocone penetration test depth was derived to calculate piezocone factor. In this paper, the results of 61 laboratory soil tests, 226 times of field vane tests and 26 piezocone penetration tests were used. The result of laboratory soil test suggested that some physical properties such as specific gravity, moisture content, liquid limit and plastic index and others are higher than other south coast regions, meanwhile uniaxial compression strength, undrained shear strength, defined as mechanical property, appeared to be relatively small, distributed widely. According to the plastic chart, the ground was classified as high compressibility clay and low compressibility clay, mostly represent to Type 3 clay by Robertson (1990)'s classification chart. Piezocone factor was calculated by empirical method, based on the undrained shear strength which was obtained by the field vane test. According to the analysis with 3 different depth range, to set the appropriate measured depth range of piezocone penetration for comparation, using average value of the range of 5 times the vane length showed the highest correlation.
This study was carried out to predict the optimal growth site and estimate carbon stocks of Quercus acuta, evergreen broad-leaved trees in warm temperate zone according to climate change. The criterion for the optimal site prediction was created by quantification method with quantitative and qualitative data, collected from growth factors of stands and environmental factors of survey sites of 42 plots in Q. acuta by study relationship between growth of tree and site environmental factors. A program for the optimal site prediction was developed by using GIS engine tools. To prediction of the suitable growth site of Quercus acuta, developed program in this study applied to Wando in Jeollanam-do, distributing a various evergreen bread-leaved trees of warm temperate zone. In the results from analysis of the optimal site prediction on Q. acuta, the characteristics of the optimal site showed as follows; site environmental features of class I (the best site class for Q. acuta) was defined as 401 ~ 500 m of altitude, $21{\sim}25^{\circ}$ of slope with above hillside, residual of deposit convex of slope type with west of aspect. The area and carbon stocks of optimal site prediction by class for Q. acuta in classI showed 147.1 ha (2.5%), total 316.5 tC/ha, total $1,161tCO_2/ha/yr$ of class I, 2,703.5 ha (46.3%), total 5,817.4 tC/ha, total $21,331tCO_2/ha/yr$ of class II, 2,845.5 ha (48.6%), total 6,123.0 tC/ha, total $2,845.5tCO_2/ha/yr$ of class III and 153.7 ha (2.6%), total 330.7 tC/ha, total $1,213.7tCO_2/ha/yr$ of class IV.

The study I was initiated in six private 'Campbell Early' vineyards in parts of Jeollanam-do province to relieve symptom of fruit blight mostly due to a high temperature occurred in Summer. High percentage of fruit blight was observed for medium growth of grape trees non-irrigated. In the study II, grape trees treated with 0%, 30% and 60% shade films were investigated for the tree responses, including fruit blight symptom in the research plots. Harvesting time was advanced approximately two weeks by the 30% shade treatment. High percentage of shades increased total shoot length per tree and decreased shoot diameter, with the greatest number of shoots observed for the 30% shade-treated grapes. Light intensity in the tree canopy was approximately 26% decreased by 30% shade treatment. Marketable harvested fruits per tree were 50.6 of 30% shade treatment, 33.6 of 0% shade, and 42.8 of 60% shade. The 30% shade treatment decreased to 11.8% of cluster blight per tree and to 11.2% of berry blight per cluster. The 30% shade treatment increased cluster weight, berry weight, soluble solid contents, and anthocyanin contents.

The demand for National Woodland Burial Grounds is expected to increase as interest in natural burial, including woodland burial, is increasing. This study was performed to provide evaluation criteria applying weighting factors to the evaluation for location selection. Through literature review, location selection evaluation factors for forest facilities, similar to forest welfare facilities, were reviewed and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, 74 preliminary evaluation criteria were selected. Based on the results, three expert groups (public servants in central and local governments and other public agencies in charge of forest welfare facility, related field researchers, and civil experts) reviewed the preliminary evaluation factors. Evaluation factors were classified into two categories, 6 sub-categories, and 22 segments. The selected evaluation factors were layered for the second preference survey. They were classified into Forest Environment and Human Environment, and those categories were further classified into three categories. Then they were further classified into segments. After segmentation, the experts who participated in the first survey checked the differences in the significance of the layered factors by utilizing AHP. The site evaluation criteria table was prepared using the evaluation criteria and the significance of each layer. In order to apply it to the candidate sites, 10 sites including the existing National Woodland Burial Grounds and 9 candidate sites considered in the previous studies were compared and analyzed including Ulju County Ulsan City, Suncheon City Jeollanam-do and Janggun-myeon Sejeong City.
Egg development and early life history of the Korean endemic sand spine loach, Cobitis nalbanti, were investigated in the present study. Adult fish were sampled using spoon nets at the Yeongsan River in Seongam-ri, Bukha-myeon, Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, Korea, June 2011. Eggs were obtained after injecting Ovarprim into females. Eggs were then artificially fertilized using the dry method in the laboratory. Mature eggs were transparent and slightly adhesive with light yellowish coloring, measured $0.99{\pm}0.03mm$ ($mean{\pm}SD$) in diameter. And number of spawned eggs were $1,527{\pm}410$ per individual. Hatching (50%) of the embryo occurred 52 hours after fertilization a water temperature of $25^{\circ}C$, and the average newly hatched larvae size was about $4.2{\pm}0.22mm$ in total length. At fifth day after hatching, the larval total length reached $6.0{\pm}0.34mm$ on average and their yolk sac had been completely absorbed. At fifteen day after hatching, larva entered the juvenile stage and reached $10.8{\pm}0.45mm$ in total length. At 100th day after hatching, the formation of Gambetta's zone of four dotted line was complete and juveniles were similar in general appearance to adults, and they averaged $41.1{\pm}2.95mm$ in total length.

The purpose of this study is to identify the control effect of empowerment from the effect to the task satisfaction of the nursing staff of the manager of followership, to study the relationship between the followership of nursing manager, task-satisfaction and empowerment that the nurse recognized. The data collection was conducted for nurses working at four general hospitals with 500 beds or more in Jeollanam-do from March 2 to March 17, 2019. The data were analyzed with the general characteristics of the subjects, and the degree of measurement variables were determined by frequency analysis and technical statistical analysis. The differences in the relevant factors according to the general characteristics were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA, and the correlation and multicollinearity among the measurement variables were analyzed as Pearson's correlation coefficiency, and Moderator regression analysis was performed to verify the adjustment effect of the empowerment. The results of the study showed significant results nursing managers' followership, empowerment and job satisfaction by the educational level. In addition, difference from work experience has shown statistically significant differences in job satisfaction. It has been shown that there is a static correlation between the followership of nursing manager that the subject recognized, empowerment and task satisfaction, the influence between followership and job satisfaction has been found to act as adjustment variables on empowerment. The conclusion of this study is meaningful in that it has verified its influence by applying recently emerging followership to nursing field. From now on, extensive research is important for the members to develop the leadership of members and followership.
Korean Sedum formosanum N. E. Br. (Ju-geog-nip-gaet-bi-reum in Korean) was first recorded in 1887, 133 years ago. Since then, the species has not been collected and its current state has remained unclear. However, these plants were collected in 2020 and the corresponding taxonomic entity and distribution status were revealed. It is known to be distributed only in the southern region of Japan, the northern islands of the Philippines, and in Taiwan, with Taiwan being the collection site of the type specimen. However, on the basis of the findings of the fourth national natural environment survey, it has recently been established that this plant also grows in the crevices of rocks along the seashores of the Korean islands of Hataedo Island and Sangtaedo Island, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do. S. formosanum inhabiting Korea is a large succulent biennial that can attain a height of up to 65 cm and differs from its congeneric species in having erect follicles during the fruiting period. Notably, among the Korean Sedum species, S. formosanum is most similar to S. tosaense, although it can be distinguished from this species with respect to its monomorphic leaves that have rounded apices, and it also bears separate flowering and sterile stems. In this paper, we present a description and photographs of the Korean S. formosanum, indicate the differences between this and related species, and provide a key to related taxa.
