The spread of COVID-19 has been changed the tourism industry. Travelers changed their traveling style and started to consider congestion of the spot for their health and safety. In Jeju, a famous tourist destination in South Korea, managing the congestion of tourists has become an important issue. This example introduces the Jeju Tourism Organization's development of a system as a smart tourism information service that manages congestion in real-time big data. Combining with congestion theory and behavior immune system, we would like to assure the necessity of the system. Also, by analyzing the system, we understand how deducing congestion information from big data and the new paradigm of the tourism industry combined with congestion theory. Data was collected by Korea's telecommunication company SKT to develop the system. The paper explains the reason for choosing the company and the pros of data quality. We expect this system to be a solution for any other city in the world under a similar situation. Finally, several suggestions for the system are included to promote and better future usage.

This study examines the application of big data and tasks of tourism based on the case of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, which used big data for regional tourism policy. Through the use of big data, it is possible to understand rapidly changing tourism trends and trends in the tourism industry in a timely and detailed manner. and also could be used to elaborate existing tourism statistics. In addition, beyond the level of big data analysis to understand tourism phenomena, its scope has expanded to provide a platform for providing real-time customized services. This was made possible by the cooperative governance of industry, government, and academia for data building, analysis, infrastructure, and utilization. As a task, the limitation of budget dependence and institutional problems such as the infrastructure for building personal-level data for personalized services, which are the ultimate goal of smart tourism, and the Personal Information Protection Act remain. In addition, expertise and technical limitations for data analysis and data linkage remain.

A smart tourism chatbot is needed as a user interface to efficiently provide smart tourism services such as recommended travel products, tourist information, my travel itinerary, and tour guide service to tourists. We have been developed a smart tourism app and a smart tourism information system that provide smart tourism services to tourists. We also developed a smart tourism chatbot service consisting of khaiii morpheme analyzer, rule-based intention classification, and tourism information knowledge base using Neo4j graph database. In this paper, we develop the Korean and English smart tourism Name Entity (NE) datasets required for the development of the NER model using the pre-trained language models (PLMs) for the smart tourism chatbot system. We create the tourism information NER datasets by collecting source data through smart tourism app, visitJeju web of Jeju Tourism Organization (JTO), and web search, and preprocessing it using Korean and English tourism information Name Entity dictionaries. We perform training on the KoBERT-CRF NER model using the developed Korean and English tourism information NER datasets. The weight-averaged precision, recall, and f1 scores are 0.94, 0.92 and 0.94 on Korean and English tourism information NER datasets.

The increase in demand for leisure time by the public and the vitalization of agricultural tourism resulting from the expansion of the five-day work week are expected to greatly contribute to the rural economy, but actual studies analyzing the ripple effect of the agricultural tourism industry are lacking. In order to analyze the economic ripple effect, tourism or agricultural tourism must become an independent sector in the inter-industry relations table's sector classification, but because it is not, the study uses a method of analysis which involves creating a satellite account. However, because agricultural tourism has a clear main agent in farms unlike general tourism which does not, there is one method in which provisions are made by farms or farm villages and another method in which outside products are used. The purpose of the present is to measure the economic ripple effect of agricultural tourism with a focus on 162 subclasses by applying positive data from the education sector input into agricultural tourism. Satellite accounts which considered intermediate input were created and applied to positive data, the analysis of which revealed agricultural tourism to account for 462 billion won, which is 0.01% of the total production amount of 3,503,480 billion won, while the production inducement coefficient was 3.2895 units when the final demand of agricultural tourism occurs. When the production inducement coefficient is at 3.2895 units, highest sector was agricultural tourism at 0.9968 units followed by restaurants and bars at 0.3325 units, roadt transportation services at 0.3183 units, lodging services at 0.1520 units, and petroleum products at 0.1290 units.
Islands are vulnerable to outer influences due to their small size and isolation. Tourism often becomes an important development focus because of their unique culture and nature. Jeju-do, as well as other islands, has experienced such development mostly led by central government, and the regional change was understood as the outcome of global influences without much concern with the local response or strategy. Thus, vulnerability has been the key theme in island development studies. This paper examines the current state of island development as an outcome of locals' alternating strategy in which the islanders accept the central government's plan, but express their demands to modify them. It is reflected in the electoral preference for ruling or oppositional parties, local movements against central government's development plans, and the spatial organization of tourism sites from a few growth centers to more dispersed, balanced development. These suggest that the current state of island development is not derived from unidirectional global forces, even if islands are peripheral. Rather, it is the outcome of an alternating strategy of Jeju locals accepting the central government development plans while managing them for local benefits.
Korea is leading in G20 summit beginning in 2011 and the 19th United Nations World Tourism Organization(UNWTO) to attract international conferences and meetings. The interests on MICE have been increasing. The MICE, from the mid-l990s, was launched in Singapore in terms of the convention industry leader in Asia, stands for corporate a generic term of Meeting, tourism award Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition. The MICE has been showing many good results as a golden industry such that no pollution has occurred and the effect is very large invisible value can be created because most of the participants in international conference are opinion leaders in each country and they can be Korea brand promoters in their home country after attending the conference and returning to. Korea has been ranked at the world's 11th most-popular destination for international business meetings, confirming its world-class reputation for business events. Korea cities also featured highly on the list. Seoul was ranked seventh globally, while Busan jumped to sixth in Asia and Jeju came in at number eight. Changwon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gyeongju and Gwangju also made their debuts on the Asian list. Consequently, the economic & political effects of MICE industry were investigated and accordingly the revitalization of the global MICE bureau was discussed.
This research attempts to analyze the relationship among leadership, LMX and organizational achievements for chefs in the Jeju district. The results of the research revealed that the leadership type only affected the servant leadership of LMX. Furthermore, the job satisfaction for leadership and LMX was influenced by organizational commitment. Therefore, to strengthen the relationship of LMX, the leadership type's servant leadership must be the essential link between the relationship of LMX, and LMX serves as the link between leadership and organizational achievement. Ultimately, to augment the employer-employee relationship, the factors of servant leadership must be applied, for example, by taking good care of the workers, persuasion, attentively listening to the workers, sympathy, and suggestion of vision, as well as the mutual link and respect among the employers and employees, all of which were shown to have positive influences on the organizational achievements.
