Conventional and public-key cryptography has been widely accepted as a base technology for the design of computer security systems. D-classes have the potential for application to conventional and public-key cryptography. However, there are very few results on D-classes because the computational complexity of D-class computation is NP-complete. This paper discusses the design of algorithms for the efficient computation of D-classes and the Java implementation of them. In addition, the paper implements the same D-class computation algorithms in C and shows the performance of C and Java programming languages for the computation-intensive applications by comparing their execution results.

There have been great advances in communication and networking in recent times. It is necessary to take advantage of this information infrastructure for the purpose of developing an engineering education system. But the networking system was expensive or hard to develop. The current international networking is converging to the use of the World Wide Web system. It has become a new standard for global network communication. But there are not a great number of applications which take full advantage of this environment. In this Imper, an interactive education system for engineering education using the World Wide Web will be presented. This can be used as a supplementary kit for engineering education of synchronous machine design. The system is developed using JAVA and can be accessed using Web browsers.

The mobile application market has been growing extensively in recent years. Currently, Apple's App Store has more than 400,000 applications and Google's Android Market has above 150,000 applications. Such growth in volumes of mobile applications has created a need to develop a recommender system that assists the users to take the right choice, when searching for a mobile application. In this paper, we study the recommendation system building tools based on collaborative filtering. Specifically, we present a study on comparison analysis of collaborative filtering in Java and R statistical software. We implement the collaborative filtering using Java's Apache Mahout and R's recommenderlab package. We evaluate both methods and describe the advantages and disadvantages of using them in order to implement collaborative filtering.

An architecture of a Web-based Decision Support system for mathematical analysis is presented. Front-end modules provide web-client GUI environment for mathematical analysis. The networking architecture is built upon client/server system by Java socket and accesses database by JDBC in WWW. Back-end modules provide decision supporting service and data management for mathematical programming analysis. In the back-end any analysis tools, such as mathematical optimizer, simulation package, or statistics package can be used. As an application example for this implementation, optimal facility replacement decision problem is selected. In the implementation the optimal facility replacement decision problem is formulated as a shortest path problem. It uses Oracle DB and CPLEX package as the mathematical optimizer. While ORAWeb is designed and implemented on the optimal facility replacement problem, it can easily be extended to any decision supporting problems that would require mathematical optimization process.

본 논문은 디지털 게임 기반의 학습 방법을 이용해 패키지 투어에 참여하는 여행자들에게 관광지 정보를 게임 형식으로 학습하도록 하는 서비스 개발 내용을 담고 있다. 이 게임은 안드로이드 기반의 스마트폰을 대상으로 하여 자바(Java) 언어로 구현했으며, 콘텐츠 관리 시스템(CMS)을 통해 게임 콘텐츠, 여행자 정보, 게임 결과 등을 체계적으로 관리할 수 있도록 하였다. 한 개의 관광지 소개 레벨과 다섯 개의 퀴즈 게임 레벨로 구성된 이 게임은 각 레벨 별로 점수 보상과 시간 벌칙을 제공하고 있어 게임의 흥미를 더해주며, 게임 종료시에는 이를 종합적으로 고려해 획득 점수를 계산한 후 리더 보드에 등재시켜 준다. 성능 평가 결과 데이터베이스와 게임 간에 0.9초의 응답 시간을 보여주고 있어 만족할 만한 결과임을 알 수 있었다. 본 논문에서 구현한 게임은 여행자 관리를 위한 패키지 투어 애플리케이션 내에 탑재되어 운영됨으로써 여행자들로 하여금 패키지 투어에 대한 만족도를 높여주는 계기가 될 것이라 기대한다.

A novel ecosystem surrounding developing, publishing and using of smartphone applications is driving a new paradigm in software industry. Thousands of applications are newly published on appstores everyday. However more than 97% of them happen to be downloaded less than 1,000 times and resultingly disappeared out of user's interesting. It means that so many efforts and time of developers are vanished. In this paper, we proposed a new architecture to increase code reusability of Android applications so that the time and efforts to develop new applications can be shortened. The proposed architecture, an extended Intent mechanism, supports sharing of Android components among the applications registered in different servers as well as in the same Android device. We designed a new Intent mechanism by extending the PackageManager service and by adopting a new class for ServerPackageManager service.

분산 환경에서 멀티미디어 라이브 스트리밍을 지원하는 멀티미디어 서비스를 구현하기 위해서는 다양한 플랫폼에 분산되어 있는 객체들을 제어하고, 멀티캐스트를 지원하지 않는 네트워크 환경에서 다수의 수신자에게 멀티미디어를 전송하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 분산 객체 기술인 RMI와 멀티미디어 전송/처리에 사용하는 JMF를 확장하여 분산 환경에서 1:N 의 멀티미디어 라이브 스트리밍을 지원하는 DLS (Distributed Live Streaming) 패키지를 제안한다. 효율적인 분산 처리를 위해 전송과 제어를 분리하여 설계한 자바 기반의 DLS 패키지는 1:N의 전송을 지원하고 플랫폼 독립적인 멀티미디어 서비스의 개발에 적용이 가능하다.

본 논문에서는 통계패키지와 Active Server Page(ASP)를 이용하여 통계분석을 위한 웹 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 통계패키지는 통계비전공자에게 사용하기도 어렵고 배우기도 매우 어렵지만, 통계비전공자들은 SAS, S-plus, R 등과 같은 통계패키지에 대한 학습 없이 자료를 분석하기를 원하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 통계패키지로 많이 활용되고 있는 S-plus와 ASP를 이용하여 통계분석 웹 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 실제 응용으로, 수질오염자료에 대하여 웹 상에서 탐색적 자료 분석, 분산분석, 시계열 분석 등과 같은 다양한 분석에 대한 웹 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 개발된 웹 통계분석은 공무원, 연구원 등과 같은 통계 비전문가들에게 매우 유용한 도구이다. 결과적으로 웹 기반의 통계분석 컨텐츠를 통하여 인터넷으로 하여금 사용자들로 하여금 자료 분석을 쉽게 빠르게 할 수 있다.
