Drop-in tests were conducted using R290/R32 (31:69) or R290/DME (65:35) mixture in a ice-cream maker for possible replacement of R-502 and R-404A. At the standard room temperature ($20^{\circ}C$), the time required for initial ice-cream making was 4'7' for R290/32, 4'39' for R404A and 4'59' for R290/DME. The electric energy consumed was 436 kJ for R290/32, 425 kJ for R404A and 439 kJ for R290/DME. The mass flow rate as well as the temperature and pressure data are also provided.

In a ring $R_n(K,\;J)$ where K is a commutative ring with identity and J is an ideal of K, all prime ideals of $R_n(K,\;J)$ are of the form either $M_n(P)\;o;R_n(P,\;P\;{\cap}\;J)$. Therefore there is a one to one correspondence between prime ideals of K not containing J and prime ideals of $R_n(K,\;J)$.

본 연구에서는 균열길이 감소현상의 처리법에 대하여 고찰하고자 하며, 내용 을 요약하면 다음과 같다. (1) 오프세트(offset)법의 배경 및 오프세트법에 의한 균열길이 감소현상의 처리 방법 을 제안하였다. (2) 실제의 균열길이의 측정과 $J_{IC}$실험해석을 통하여, 수정식과 오프세트법의 타 당성을 검토하였다.

Let (R, m) be a d-dimensional Cohen-Macaulay local ring with infinite residue field. Let I be an ideal of R that has analytic spread ℓ(I) = d, satisfies the G_d condition, the weak Artin-Nagata property AN^-_d-2 and m is not an associated prime of R/I. In this paper, we show that if j₁(I) = λ(I/J) + λ[R/(J_d-1 :_RI+(J_d-2 :_RI+I):_R m^∞)] + 1, then I has almost minimal j-multiplicity, G(I) is Cohen-Macaulay and r_J(I) is at most 2, where J = (x₁, _…, x_d) is a general minimal reduction of I and J_i = (x₁, _…, x_i). In addition, the last theorem is in the spirit of a result of Sally who has studied the depth of associated graded rings and minimal reductions for m-primary ideals.

Y. Hirano introduced the concept of a quasi-Armendariz ring which extends both Armendariz rings and semiprime rings. A ring R is called quasi-Armendariz if $a_iRb_j$ = 0 for each i, j whenever polynomials $f(x)\;=\;\sum_{i=0}^ma_ix^i$, $g(x)\;=\;\sum_{j=0}^mb_jx^j\;{\in}\;R[x]$ satisfy f(x)R[x]g(x) = 0. In this paper, we first extend the quasi-Armendariz property of semiprime rings to the skew polynomial rings, that is, we show that if R is a semiprime ring with an epimorphism $\sigma$, then f(x)R[x; $\sigma$]g(x) = 0 implies $a_iR{\sigma}^{i+k}(b_j)=0$ for any integer k $\geq$ 0 and i, j, where $f(x)\;=\;\sum_{i=0}^ma_ix^i$, $g(x)\;=\;\sum_{j=0}^mb_jx^j\;{\in}\;R[x,\;{\sigma}]$. Moreover, we extend this property to the skew monoid rings, the Ore extensions of several types, and skew power series ring, etc. Next we define $\sigma$-skew quasi-Armendariz rings for an endomorphism $\sigma$ of a ring R. Then we study several extensions of $\sigma$-skew quasi-Armendariz rings which extend known results for quasi-Armendariz rings and $\sigma$-skew Armendariz rings.

Let R be a ring with identity and J(R) denote the Jacobson radical of R, i.e., the intersection of all maximal left ideals of R. A ring R is called J-symmetric if for any $a,b,c{\in}R$, abc = 0 implies $bac{\in}J(R)$. We prove that some results of symmetric rings can be extended to the J-symmetric rings for this general setting. We give many characterizations of such rings. We show that the class of J-symmetric rings lies strictly between the class of symmetric rings and the class of directly finite rings.

Difference in the structure of AC PDP cells makes the cells have various discharge characteristics. Therefore, a ramp-reset must be adjusted for the stable driving of AC PDP. If any ramp-reset can reduce the difference in discharge characteristics between cells, the conditions of the address discharge could become almost the same. It is very important to understand these to design a good driving waveform. In this paper, we proved the mentioned facts with the change of barrier rib heights.

Field emission-back light unit (FE-BLU) was fabricated using carbon nanotube (CNT) emitter. Local dimming and local brightening techniques were achieved, which results in very high contrast ratio. In addition, the motion blur phenomenon, one of the serious problems of liquid crystal display (LCD) with cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL)-BLU, was removed from LCD-TV by using FE-BLU.

Let I and J be two ideals of a commutative Noetherian ring R and M, N be two non-zero finitely generated R-modules. Let t be a non-negative integer such that $H^i_{I,J}(N)$ is (I, J)-minimax for all i < t. It is shown that the generalized local cohomology module $H^i_{I,J}(M,N)$ is (I, J)-Cofinite minimax for all i < t. Also, we prove that the R-module $Ext^j_R(R/I,H^i_{I,J}(N))$ is finitely generated for all $i{\leq}t$ and j = 0, 1.

This paper presents a method to quantify R-ratio effect on J-integral under large-amplitude cyclic loading condition. Generally, monotonic tearing resistance curves are used to assess stability of cracked nuclear piping under seismic loading. However, it is well known that fracture toughness decrease at cyclic loading condition, according to R-ratio. For this reason, it is important to quantify the J-R curves under cyclic loading condition. To quantify the R-ratio effect, correction method which was proposed by Tranchand is considered. This method considers crack opening area in order to calculate modified J-integral. This method leads to an increase of fracture toughness. At R=-0.5 case, this method is good agreement with monotonic J-R curves. However, results show that this method has a limit to apply a large R-ratio case.
