A Study on Educational Facilities Resource Management System using Smart Devices (스마트 디바이스를 활용한 교육시설물 자원관리 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Regardless of the strict enforcement of prevention education in accordance with the school facility management standard, safety accidents that lead to human and physical damages occur in current educational facilities because of teenagers with very low sense of responsibility and insensitivity toward fire and facility safety. To ensure educational facility safety, technology that will enable a fast work process and easy confirmation of electronic blueprints and related documents about the educational facility through smart devices at the site by various means is needed. This paper proposes a system design linked to the National Education Information System (NEIS) that uses the document conversion function, high efficiency resolution, and Internet of Things (IoT) to inspect and control the educational facility in the event of a safety accident through the Educational Facility Resource Management System (EFRMS) that manages the electronic blueprints, and various educational facility documents through various smart devices.

  • The big data utilization category in the sports field was mainly focused on the big data analysis to improve the competence of the athlete and the performance. Since then, 'big data technology' which collect and analyze more detailed and diverse data through the application of ICT technology such as IoT and AI has been applied. The use of big data of sports contents in future has value and possibility in the smart environment, but it is necessary to overcome the shortage and limitation of platform to manage and share sports contents. In order to solve such problems, it is important to change the perception of the companies or providers that provide sports contents and cultivate and secure professional personnel capable of providing sports contents. Also, it is necessary to implement policies to systematically manage and utilize big data poured from sports contents.

  • As the 4th industrial revolution progressing, manufacturers are trying to apply intelligent information technologies such as IoT(internet of things) and machine learning. In the semiconductor/LCD/tire manufacturing process, schedule plan that minimizes setup change and due date violation is very important in order to ensure efficient production. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest the deep learning based scheduling generation model minimizes setup change and due date violation in parallel machines. The proposed model learns patterns of minimizing setup change and due date violation depending on considered order using the amount of historical data. Therefore, the experiment results using three dataset depending on levels of the order list, the proposed model outperforms compared to priority rules.

  • The concept of 'Edu-Tech', which is rapidly reorganized around e-Learning, has been spreading along with the development of intelligent information technology according to the fourth industrial revolution such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), BigData. Currently, leading companies are conducting online education services, but real-time two-way communication is difficult. In addition, in the case of off-line class, there are many students, and not only the time is limited, but also they often miss the opportunities to ask questions. In order to solve these problems, this paper develops a real - time interactive question and answer management system that can freely questions both on - line and off - line by combining the benefits of offline instant answers and the advantages of online openness. The developed system is a real-time personalized education system that enables the respondent to check the situation of the questioner in real time and provide a customized answer according to the inquirer's request. In addition, by measuring and managing the system usage time in seconds, the questioner and the respondent can efficiently utilize the system.

  • As technology utilizing low-power short-range wireless communication is applied in conjunction with medical information as a development of the fourth industrial revolution, interest in medical information is increasing. As the age group of smart devices increases and becomes more common, related research such as linking mobile devices with various objects and equipment is continuously being conducted. In addition, interest in untact (non-face-to-face) is increasing due to the prevalence of Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19), including various infectious diseases. As a result, it is a state that requires distance not only in social but also in life. In this study, using a low-power near-field wireless communication technology of beacons to create an IoT device by communicating with the web server of the medical information system was studied to make it easier to receive medical treatment during visits to medical institutions.

  • The rapid growth of smartphone-to-Internet of Things (IoT) connections and the explosive demand for data usage centered on mobile video are increasing day by day, and this increase in data usage creates many problems in the IP system. In a full-based environment, in which information requesters focus on information providers to receive information from specific servers, problems arise with bottlenecks and large data processing. To address this problem, CCN networking technology, a future network technology, has emerged as an alternative to CCN networking technology, which reduces bottlenecks that occur when requesting popular content through caching of intermediate nodes and increases network efficiency, and can be applied to military information and communication networks to address the problem of traffic concentration and the use of various surveillance equipment in full-based networks, such as scientific monitoring systems, and to provide more efficient content.

  • Comparing the past and the present in agriculture, society is losing people who work in farming, and the age of those who remain is increasing. Farmers are interested in special crops if the agricultural products' costs are low and the crops are easy to grow. If the area where a crop grows is bad, the agricultural products' quality gets worse. To overcome this situation, a new approach is being tried with crops. This research offers new technology to the young generation. This paper proposes technology that uses Internet of Things techniques to automatically sparge water and pesticide on orchards and fields using a machine instead of a person. We used the open source Arduino and sensor modules to build the automatic system. In this research, a circuit was simplified, and we constructed the proper size of the system by preventing errors in sensors, keeping distance from objects, and minimizing circuit collision. The machine drives and turns its head to sparge agricultural pesticides. The machine will minimize harmful effects caused by pesticides on humans, and will be helpful to farmers.

  • Recently, Smart plugs for real time monitoring of household appliances based on IoT(Internet of Things) have been activated. Through this, consumers are able to save energy by monitoring real-time energy consumption at all times, and reduce power consumption through alarm function based on consumer setting. In this paper, we measure the alternating current from a wall power outlet for real-time monitoring. At this time, the current pattern for each household appliance was classified and it was experimented with deep learning to determine which product works. As a result, we used a cross validation method and a bootstrap verification method in order to the classification performance according to the type of appliances. Also, it is confirmed that the cost function and the learning success rate are the same as the train data and test data.

A Study of Structural Relationship on Intention to Accept Technology of Potential Users in University Library Mobile Self Check-Out Service (대학도서관 이용자의 모바일 자가대출서비스 수용의도에 관한 구조적 관계 연구)

  • This study is to analyze the applicability of new technologies to be applied to the foreseeable future's library. For this purpose, we measured the users' intention to accept the service by using the NFC based self-check out service as a new technology applicable to the library. Based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance Use of Technology (UTAUT), research models were derived, and the structural relationships between performance expectations, effort expectations, facilitation conditions, and perceived risks were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, perceived threats in the library did not affect the intention to use, and the performance expectation, effort expectation, and facilitation condition partially affected the intention to use. The gender of the moderator variable, there were some significant difference in promoting conditions.

Development of Accident-prevention Smart Monitoring System for Woman Diver using Zigbee Module and GPS Sensor (Zigbee와 GPS를 이용한 해녀 사고예방 스마트 모니터링 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose an accident-prevention smart monitoring system for Haenyeo(Woman diver) using Zigbee module and GPS sensor. This system can collect such information as the diving location, the body temperature, the depth of diving, and the diving time of a Woman diver working under the water and then respond immediately to an accident occurring. The research developed a smart Teawak and smart swimming goggles which can measure the state of a Woman diver and her diving activities. Smart Teawak, the buoy tool while a Woman diver is collecting seafoods under water, is able to receive GPS and transmit the data from smart swimming goggles and Zigbee Module to IHSS(IoT based Haenyeo Safety service Software) server. In addition, IHSS, a responsive web, provides the diving location and the state of a Woman diver on the smart phone. As a result, the system will be useful in the aspects of Woman diver' health care and the safety, furthermore, which will significantly contribute to global marketing of Woman diver with its being designated as a UNESCO intangible cultural asset.
