마그네트론 구동용 전원장치 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Power Supply for Driving Magnetron)

  • 본 논문에서는 무전극 플라즈마 램프 구동용 연속펄스발진 마그네트론의 전원장치에 대하여 기술하였다. 제안한 전원장치는 역률개선회로, 직렬 공진형 ZVS 하프브리지 인버터, 고압누설변압기 및 IGBT 제어회로로 구성하였다. 시뮬레이션결과로부터 인버터 운전주파수 가변에 의해 마그네트론의 입력전력을 최대 33.3%까지 조절할 수 있었다.

ISG 구동용 인버터의 열유동 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Thermo-flow Analysis of ISG (Integrated Starter and Generator) Driving Inverter)

  • Recently, many vehicles have applied electric parts for saving fuel consumption and reducing levels of environmental pollution. ISG (integrated starter & generator) is one of main electric parts and can improve fuel efficiency by using idle stop & go function and regenerative braking system. However, if ISG driving inverter works under the continuously high load condition, it will make the performance and durability of the inverter decreased with rising temperature. In this study, we carried out the analysis on the fluid flow and thermal characteristics of the inverter. As a result, we found the MOSFET of the air cooled inverter was increased up to $116^{\circ}C$ over the limit temperature. On the other hand, the liquid cooled type inverter's MOSFET was decreased by about $17^{\circ}C$ compared to that of the air cooled inverter. Therefore, we verified the feasibility of the liquid cooled type using the present cooling structure.

  • 디스플레이 광원으로 많이 사용되고 있는 EL(Electro-Luminescence)은 특히 면광원 형태로 광고용 판넬에 많이 이용되고 있다. 면광원 EL을 최상의 조건으로 구동하기 위해서는 EL의 부하특성을 알아야 할 필요가 있으며, 본 논문에서는 광고용 판넬의 광원으로 사용되는 EL의 부하특성을 분석하기 위한 모델링을 수행하고 이를 기반으로 EL 시트를 구동하기 위한 인버터의 설계를 수행한다. 얻어진 부하 모델을 통해 인버터의 토폴로지 선정은 물론 구동 설계 파라미터를 제시하고, 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 설계된 EL 구동 시스템의 타당성과 그 구동 특성을 검증한다.

Resonance Suppression using Sensorless Control of Dual SPMSMs Fed by Single Inverter

  • To reduce the size and cost of motor driving systems, several methods for driving multiple parallel-connected motors with a single inverter have been proposed. However, dual PMSMs driven by a single inverter, unlike induction motors, have a problem with instability due to system resonance caused by disturbances such as load imbalance and tolerances between two motors. To drive dual SPMSMs fed by a single inverter, this paper proposes an active damping algorithm to effectively suppress resonance by using one-sided sensorless speed control and position difference estimation. By deriving rotor position difference from d-q current differences between two motors, the proposed method is affected less by position difference estimation errors and is simpler than dual sensorless position estimation.

  • This paper presents continuous control concept of unsymmetrical 2 phase induction machine(I.M.). For 2 phase driving of the unsymmetrical I.M., variable voltage and variable frequency inverter is needed. In this paper, a new 12 step PWM 2 phase inverter was proposed. And then, proposed inverter fed 2 phase driving of unsymmetrical I.M. was studied, expecially on average torque and pulsation torque. This system has merits like higher fundamental component and better harmonic characteristics. The simulation was done on this issue and experimental research is on the way.

  • 이 논문의 목표는 최적의 효율을 갖는 PLS 구동 인버터 회로를 설계하는 것이다. 일반적으로 펄스로 구동되는 PLS가 높은 광변환 효율을 갖는다고 알려져 있다. 낮은 듀티비의 펄스를 만들 수 있는 회로로는 E급 공진형 인버터와 세미브리지 인버터가 있다. 이 논문에서는 위의 두 회로의 손실을 분석한다. 손실분석을 확인하기 위해서 220V 380W 입력소비전력을 갖는 인버터 회로를 제작하고 시험하였다. 실험결과를 통해서 높은 효율의 PLS 시스템을 확인했다.

  • Comparative analysis of driving inverters for piezo-electric transformer (PT) is performed and the suit- able drive circuit for portable devices such as personal digital assistants (PDA) is chosen with the experiment in this paper. As a result, a single-switch inverter with a small two winding reactor is chosen, and then the advantages of this method are clarified. It is also confirmed that the driving inverter with this method enables to realize a stabilized AC 400v output and 82% power efficiency from DC 3V input under the conditions of the variations of load current or input voltage from the experiments. Disturbance Observer Based Anti-slip Re-adhesion Control for Electric Motor Coach

  • This paper proposes a new anti-slip re-adhesion control system fur electric railway vehicle driven by inverter-fed induction motors. This paper introduces an instantaneous tangential farce coefficient estimator between driving wheel and rail, which is based on disturbance observer. The torque command of proposed system regulates to exceed this estimated tangential farce coefficient in order to avoid undesirable slip phenomenon of driving wheels. We have already proposed the anti-slip re-adhesion control system based on disturbance observer for simplified one wheel equivalent model successfully. This paper extend to this system to the actual bogie system, which has four driving wheels driven by two induction motors fed by one inverter. In order to apply anti-slip re-adhesion control to the actual bogie system a new anti-slip re-adhesion control based on both disturbance observer and speed sensor-less vector control of induction motor with quick response are combined. The experimental results and the numerical simulation results prove the validity of the proposed control system.

  • LEDs have been widely used in lighting displays, automobiles, and airplanes owing to their excellent light output characteristics and long lifespan. Though LEDs are manufactured under the same process, variations in impurity concentrations cause electrical deviation among LEDs. The resulting electrical deviation can not only reduce the life time of the LED but also cause non-uniform luminance of LEDs connected in parallel. LED driving circuit is required to solve these problems. In this paper, we propose a LED driving system using Y-type current balancing transformer to maximize the efficiency of the system by removing output stage Schottky diodes. Experimental results are presented to verify the performance of proposed LED driving system that is applied to 80 W LED modules.
