객체지향 방법론을 이용한 자동차부품기업의 영업관리시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Marketing and Sales Information System for Automotive Part Company Using Object-Oriented Methodology)

  • According to the increase of organizational complexity and the change of rapid information technology environment, many firms have shifted their information technology(IT) strategy from developing information systems in-house to purchasing application software such as Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) Systems. Marketing and Sales functions within a Korean automotive part company include developing new assembly products, determining pricing, taking customer's orders, and shipping assembly products to customers. Marketing and Sales Information System(MSIS) in ERP system plays an important role in next Production Planning process. MSIS also makes management reporting and decision making faster and more uniform throughout an organization. MSIS promotes thinking about corporate goals, as opposed to thinking only about the goals of a single department or functional area. This paper intends to design and implement a MSIS in ERP systems for Korean automotive part company using object-oriented methodology In order to accomplish the implementation of MSIS in ERP system, we employed UML as its standard modeling language. In this study, four diagramming techniques such as use case diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, component diagram among eight modeling techniques are used for analyzing hierarchical business process. In traditional marketing and sales function, a company with an unintegrated information system can have marketing and sales data that is data redundant or inaccurate. MSIS integrated in ERP system can solve the sales forecast problem, which minimizes the total costs of production, inventory, and transportation under constraints of production capacity. Also, the use of UML methodology makes S/W programmers shorten the phase of analysis and design in the implementation of MSIS system, and increase the reuse of software and the interoperability with corporate internal Information system.

초등정보영재 교육을 위한 퍼즐 기반 학습 가능성 탐색 (Studying the Possibility of Puzzle Based Learning for Informatics Gifted Elementary Student Education)

  • 컴퓨팅적 사고(Computational Thinking)는 실세계와 다양한 학문 분야에 적용될 수 있는 보편적 문제해결 능력으로 컴퓨터 과학 분야의 핵심역량이자 미래 인재가 필수적으로 갖추어야 할 소양이다. 컴퓨팅적 사고는 문제를 분석하고 문제 해결에 적합한 컴퓨팅 원리 및 전략들을 선택, 적용하는 경험을 통해 증진될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 학습자에게 컴퓨팅적 사고를 기반으로 한 문제 해결 경험을 제공하기 위한 퍼즐기반 학습을 설계하고 초등정보영재 교육에서의 적용 가능성을 탐색하였다. 학습에 활용된 퍼즐 문항들은 학습자 수준에 맞게 구성된 서술형 퍼즐로 제약조건, 최적화, 확률, 통계, 패턴인식, 전략의 6가지 유형으로 분류된다. 퍼즐 기반 학습을 초등학교 6학년 영재학급에 적용한 결과, 학습자의 컴퓨팅적 사고 및 문제해결성향에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것을 확인하였다. 이는 컴퓨팅적 문제 해결 원리를 포함한 퍼즐 해결 경험이 흥미와 통찰을 유도하고, 실세계와 유사한 다양한 문제 해결 경험을 제공하기 때문인 것으로 판단된다.

Retrospective Air Quality Simulations of the TexAQS-II: Focused on Emissions Uncertainty

  • There are several studies on the effects of emissions of highly reactive volatile organic compounds (HRVOC) from the industrial sources in the Houston-Galveston-Brazoria (HGB) area on the high ozone events during the Texas Air Quality Study (TexAQS) in summer of 2000. They showed that the modeled atmosphere lacked reactivity to produce the observed high ozone event and suggested "imputation" of HRVOC emissions from the base inventory. Byun et al. (2007b) showed the imputed inventory leads to too high ethylene concentrations compared to the measurements at the chemical super sites but still too little aloft compared to the NOAA aircraft. The paper suggested that the lack of reactivity in the modeled Houston atmosphere must be corrected by targeted, and sometimes of episodic, increase of HRVOC emissions from the large sources such as flares in the Houston Ship Channel (HSC) distributed into the deeper level of the boundary layer. We performed retrospective meteorological and air quality modeling to achieve better air quality prediction of ozone by comparison with various chemical and meteorological measurements during the Texas Air Quality Study periods in August-September 2006 (TexA QS-II). After identifying several shortcomings of the forecast meteorological simulations and emissions inputs, we prepared new retrospective meteorological simulations and updated emissions inputs. We utilized assimilated MM5 inputs to achieve better meteorological simulations (detailed description of MM5 assimilation can be found in F. Ngan et al., 2012) and used them in this study for air quality simulations. Using the better predicted meteorological results, we focused on the emissions uncertainty in order to capture high peak ozone which occasionally happens in the HGB area. We described how the ozone predictions are affected by emissions uncertainty in the air quality simulations utilizing different emission inventories and adjustments.

  • 정보자원관리(情報資源管理)란 정보가 자산이라는 개념 하에 정보의 경제성에 기초를 둔 새로운 정보관리 방법이다. 이것은 정보기술(情報技術)의 발달로 정보의 중요성이 고조되면서 효율적인 관리방법의 필요성이 요구되었고, 특히 기업체를 중심으로 확산되고 있다. 이 연구는 정보자원관리의 이론과 방법을 기업체 정보자료실의 정보관리에 적용하여 기업 정보관리의 효율화를 목적으로 시도되었다. 그리고 우리나라 기업이 정보자원관리를 어떻게 시작하고, 어떻게 전개하는 것이 가장 효과적인가 하는 데 기반을 두고, 정보자원관리(情報資源管理)를 담당해야 할 주체로 정보자료실(情報資料室)이 가장 적합하다는 전제 아래 기업체 정보자료실을 중심으로 한 정보자원관리(情報資源管理) 실행방안을 제시하기 위하여 연구되었다. 정보자원관리(情報資源管理)의 이론과 실제를 문헌을 통하여 규명하였고, 이를 바탕으로 정보자원관리 모형을 구축하였다. 정보자원관리(情報資源管理) 모형은 정보자원 인벤토리, 정보요구분석, 정보비용의 측정, 그러고 정보가치의 평가로 이루어졌다.

위성영상자료 및 국가 산림자원조사 자료를 이용한 산림 바이오매스 추정 (Estimation of Forest Biomass based upon Satellite Data and National Forest Inventory Data)

  • 본 연구는 전라북도 무주군을 대상으로 제5차 국가산림자원조사 자료와 위성영상(Landsat TM-5)자료를 이용하여 산림 바이오매스를 추정하고 이를 토대로 바이오매스 주제도를 작성하고자 하였다. 먼저 국가산림자원조사의 야외 표본점 자료를 이용하여 조사표본점의 단위면적 당 축적을 산출하고, 바이오매스 변환계수를 적용하여 산림 바이오매스를 추정하였다. 본 연구에서는 위성영상 자료를 이용한 산림 바이오매스 추정을 위해 회귀모형을 이용하는 방법과 최근린 기법(k-Nearest Neighbor)을 이용하는 두 가지 방법을 사용하였는데, 이 두 가지 방법에 의해 추정된 산림 바이오매스를 국가산림자원조사 자료에 의한 추정치와 비교하여 최적의 방법을 선정하였다. 추정된 바이오매스 통계량의 비교를 위해 교차대조법을 이용하여 RMSE(Root Mean Square Error)와 평균편의(Mean Bias)를 산출하였는데, 그 결과 두 방법 모두 유사한 추정오차(RMSE: 63.75$\sim$67.26ton/ha)와 편차($\pm$1 ton/ha)를 보여 정확성 면에서는 큰 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 최근린 기법을 이용하여 산림 바이오매스를 추정하는 것이 효율성 측면에서 보다 유리할 것으로 평가되었다. 최근린 기법에 의해 추정된 무주군의 산림 바이오매스는 약 839만 톤으로 나타났으며 단위면적당 평균은 149톤/ha인 것으로 분석되었다.

Utilization of EPRI ChemWorks tools for PWR shutdown chemistry evolution modeling

  • Shutdown chemistry evolution is performed in nuclear power plants at each refueling outage (RFO) to establish safe conditions to open system and minimize inventory of corrosion products in the reactor coolant system (RCS). After hydrogen peroxide is added to RCS during shutdown chemistry evolution, corrosion products are released and are removed by filters and ion exchange resins in the chemical volume control system (CVCS). Shutdown chemistry evolution including RCS clean-up time to remove released corrosion products impacts the critical path schedule during RFOs. The estimation of clean-up time prior to RFO can provide more reliable actions for RCS clean-up operations and transients to operators during shutdown chemistry. Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) shutdown calculator (SDC) enables to provide clean-up time by Co-58 peak activity through operational data from nuclear power plants (NPPs). In this study, we have investigated the results of EPRI SDC by shutdown chemistry data of Co-58 activity using NPP data from previous cycles and modeled the estimated clean-up time by EPRI SDC using average Co-58 activity of the NPP. We selected two RFO data from the NPP to evaluate EPRI SDC results using the purification time to reach to 1.3 mCi/cc of Co-58 after hydrogen peroxide addition. Comparing two RFO data, the similar purification time between actual and computed data by EPRI SDC, 0.92 and 1.74 h respectively, was observed with the deviation of 3.7-7.2%. As the modeling the estimated clean-up time, we calculated average Co-58 peak concentration for normal cycles after cycle 10 and applied two-sigma (2σ, 95.4%) for predicted Co-58 peak concentration as upper and lower values compared to the average data. For the verification of modeling, shutdown chemistry data for RFO 17 was used. Predicted RCS clean-up time with lower and upper values was between 21.05 and 27.58 h, and clean-up time for RFO 17 was 24.75 h, within the predicted time band. Therefore, our calculated modeling band was validated. This approach can be identified that the advantage of the modeling for clean-up time with SDC is that the primary prediction of shutdown chemistry plans can be performed more reliably during shutdown chemistry. This research can contribute to improving the efficiency and safety of shutdown chemistry evolution in nuclear power plants.

멀티에이전트 기반 SCM 모델링 및 구현 (Multiagent Enabled Modeling and Implementation of SCM)

  • The purpose of this paper is to propose the modeling of multiagent based SCM and implement the prototype in the Internet environment. SCM process follows the supply chain operations reference (SCOR) model which has been suggested by Supply Chain Counsil. SCOR model has been positioned to become the industry standard for describing and improving operational process in SCM. Five basic processes, plan, source, matte, deliver and return are defined in the SCOR model, through which a company establishes its supply chain competitive objectives. A supply chain is a world wide network of suppliers, factories, warehouses, distribution centers and retailers through which raw materials are acquired, transformed or manufactured and delivered to customers by autonomous or semiautonomous process. With the pressure from the higher standard of customer compliance, a frequent model change, product complexity and globalization, the combination of supply chain process with an advanced infrastructure in terms of multiagent systems have been highly required. Since SCM is fundamentally concerned with coherence among multiple decision makers, a multiagent framework based on explicit communication between constituent agents such as suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors is a natural choice. Multiagent framework is defined to perform different activities within a supply chain. Dynamic and changing functions of supply chain can be dealt with multi-agent by cooperating with other agents. In the areas of inventory management, remote diagnostics, communications with field workers, order fulfillment including tracking and monitoring, stock visibility, real-time shop floor data collection, asset tracking and warehousing, customer-centric supply chain can be applied and implemented utilizing multiagent. In this paper, for the order processing event between the buyer and seller relationship, multiagent were defined corresponding to the SCOR process. A prototype system was developed and implemented on the actual TCP/IP environment for the purchase order processing event. The implementation result assures that multiagent based SCM enhances the speed, visibility, proactiveness and responsiveness of activities in the supply chain.

대표 교량을 이용한 국내 철근콘크리트 교량의 지진취약성 분석 방법 (Seismic Fragility Assessment Method for RC Bridges in Korea using a Representative Bridge)

  • 본 논문에서는 OpenSees 프로그램을 이용한 콘크리트 교량의 지진취약성 분석 방법에 대한 고찰을 제시한다. 교각 및 휨 부재 분산 비선형(distributed plasticity) 요소를 적용한 해석모델을 활용하여 지진에 대한 응답을 구하고 이를 통계적으로 처리하여 확률론적 지진취약성 분석을 수행한다. 응답 통계는 세기가 같은 지진파의 집단을 단계별로 scaling하는 stripe 방법과 다양한 세기를 가진 지진파 집단을 선정하는 cloud방법을 적용하고 이 두 방법에 의한 분석결과의 차이를 비교한다. 한계상태에는 교각의 휨변형과 교좌장치의 변위를 기준으로 산정한 다단계 한계상태를 적용하고, 여러 가지 한계상태를 취합한 시스템 취약성을 도출한다. 지진응답의 통계적 처리 방법과 교량의 손상 정의가 지진취약성 곡선에 주는 영향을 고찰한다.

주문생산 방식의 생산계획 수립을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델 설계 : 판유리 제조 공정을 중심으로 (Simulation Modeling for Production Scheduling under Make-To-Order Production Environment : Focusing on the Flat Glass Production Environment)

  • The manufacturing companies under Make-To-Order (MTO) production environment face highly variable requirements of the customers. It makes them difficult to establish preemptive production strategy through inventory management and demand forecasting. Therefore, the ability to establish an optimal production schedule that incorporates the various requirements of the customers is emphasized as the key success factor. In this study, we suggest a process of designing the simulation model for establishing production schedule and apply this model to the case of a flat glass processing company. The flat glass manufacturing industry is under MTO production environment. Academic research of flat glass industry is focused on minimizing the waste in the cutting process. In addition, in the practical view, the flat glass manufacturing companies tend to establish the production schedule based on the intuition of production manager and it results in failure of meeting the due date. Based on these findings, the case study aims to present the process of drawing up a production schedule through simulation modeling. The actual data of Korean flat glass processing company were used to make a monthly production schedule. To do this, five scenarios based on dispatching rules are considered and each scenario is evaluated by three key performance indicators for delivery compliance. We used B2MML (Business To Manufacturing Markup Language) schema for integrating manufacturing systems and simulations are carried out by using SIMIO simulation software. The results provide the basis for determining a suitable production schedule from the production manager's perspective.

A Study on the Ozone Control Strategy using the OZIPR in the Seoul Metropolitan Area

  • To establish area specific control strategy for ambient ozone in the Seoul Metropolitan Area (SMA), the maximum ozone concentration in each local government district in the SMA were estimated by using the OZone Isopleth Plotting Package for Research (OZIPR) model. The modeling period was June 2000 and the emission inventory data used were from National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER). Except the islands of Incheon, whole Seoul and Incheon areas were volatile organic compounds (VOCs) limited, i.e., decreasing the oxides of nitrogen ($NO_X$) emission alone may increase the maximum ozone concentration upto certain point. In Gyeonggi, 12 areas were VOCs limited while 12 areas were in between VOCs limited and $NO_X$ limited, i.e., decreasing both $NO_X$ and VOCs emission may decrease the maximum ozone concentration. Majority of the estimated ozone values were lower than the measured values. The reason could be inaccuracy in emission inventories and/or transport from other areas. The same calculation was carried out for June 2004 and it was found that Seoul was still in the VOCs limited condition.
