In the era of 'Untact', virtual reality-based job training platforms are actively being used as part of non-face-to-face education for students with developmental disabilities. Because the people with developmental disabilities may lack sufficient cognitive abilities, it is difficult to conduct untact training seamlessly without the help of a third party. Therefore, it is necessary for training programs to identify the right timing to provide help so that the training can be continued. This research analyzed the visual attention of students with developmental disabilities in virtual reality-based job training program in order to determine the point of time when an intervention is required by the trainee. Results showed that students who completed the mission tended to have intense visual attention on a small number of objects for a certain period of time; the visual attention of the students who failed tended to shift erratically among multiple objects.
The theses is an analytical comparison research between 'Skills Link' and 'Do Dream' : the former is an effective program to establish a variety of intervention strategies and the institutional foundation for employment support of disadvantaged youth, performed by ESDC in the level of the nation, and the latter is the program which is carried out by K-Dream Center of MGEF in South Korea. As for the research method, comparison and analysis have been fulfilled, focusing on the employment support program. The research includes program background, goal, participation subject, selection standard, program contents, support period, support cost, and program effect. It suggests that we should design the systematic program for the youth in the transition to independency and perform constant support. It is necessary to select beneficiary on the consideration of the characteristics and situation of the disadvantaged youth. In addition, it is required to secure consistency of the program and enlarge the support period. For the sake of successful performance of the independent living program, it is a necessity to motivate the youth and introduce the ways to encourage the business sector to take part in.

The proliferation of the web and digital photography has drastically increased multimedia data and has resulted in the need of the high quality internet service based on the moving picture like user generated contents(UGC). The keyword-based search on large scale images and video collections is too expensive and requires much manual intervention. Therefore the web search engine may provide the content-based retrieval on the multimedia data for search accuracy and customer satisfaction. In this paper, we propose a novel distributed index structure based on multiple length signature files according to data distribution. In addition, we describe how our scalable index technique can be used to find the nearest neighbors in the cluster environments.
The aim of this study was to provide basic contents which are based on the appropriate understanding, use, and information of smart devices for young children. The researcher surveyed mothers regarding the effects of their children's development as a result of using smart devices. A survey of 134 mothers with three to five-year-old children currently attending daycare centers or kindergartens was carried out. By using SPSS 18.0, the collected data of survey results was implemented via t-test and F verification. Study findings are as follows: First, the result of the survey analysis indicated that most mothers perceived that using smart devices did not heavily influence their child's development. Second, the mothers' perception was varied depending on whether it was their child's the first time using smart devices, the mother's education level, and on the mother's employment situation. However, there was no difference of perception in regards to gender. The results of this study suggest the necessity of parental intervention and prevention of side effect of children 's smart device use and parent education program.

Background: The Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach is recognized in the field of health promotion as a way to optimize intervention for promoting health by taking into account specific social, economical, and institutional situations of the community. However, the CBPR approach has not been applied in the field of community-based rehabilitation. Objects: This study was conducted to explore the self-perceived satisfaction of therapists and disabilities on the Short-term Intensive Home-based Rehabilitation (SIHR) program developed using the CBPR approach as well as determine the points that need improvement. Methods: This research was conducted through in-depth interviews. The SIHR program was developed, applied, and evaluated by both the researchers and four therapists on the basis of the CBPR approach. The SIHR program was administered to four disability for 1 hour a day, 2 or 3 times a week, for 8 weeks, and their self-rehabilitation was monitored once a week for 4 weeks. After all intervention periods, in-depth interviews were conducted by using a semi-structured questionnaire for the therapists and disability. Results: The therapists were satisfied with the contents of the SIHR program, such as behavioral change technique and goal-directed training. They were also satisfied with the process of developing the program through a community network. Disabilities were satisfied with the therapists' persuasive and emotionally interactive way of delivering the SIHR program as well as the individually customized rehabilitation training and physical improvement. The short period (8 weeks) of the SIHR program was noted by both therapists and disabilities as the part that needs improvement. Conclusion: The SIHR program developed using the CBPR approach was feasible and satisfying to therapists and disabilities. However, a longer SIHR program should be developed. Community networks could help therapists effectively utilize community resources and thereby provide more rehabilitation program for persons with disability.
The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of psychodrama group counselling, and to determine its applicability as a nursing intervention for the promotion of mental health of clients in their developmental stages. Methodological triangulation was used for research design. For quantitative study, quasi experimental study design with nonequivalent control group was used to test the effects of psychodrama group counselling. For each experimental and control group convenient samples of 15 nursing students were selected, and observed from May to Nov. 2000. For experimental group, the treatment was given for 2 hours each week, totaling 20 hours. The questionnaire consisted of 24 items of physical symptoms from CMI. 40 items of Spielberger Anxiety Scale, and 21 items of Beck Depression Scale. Reflective journal was written by the experimental group. The data were analyzed using chi-square and Mann-Whitney U test. For the qualitative study, the contents of the reflective journal were analyzed into categories and classifications. The results of the study were as follows; 1. There was a significant difference on physical health status between the experimental and the control group 2. There was a significant difference between two groups on the mean scores of mental health before and after psychodrama group counselling. 3.
