This research is based on a visitor survey at Jogyesan Provincial Park in Jeonnam, and its implications for interpretive planning. The research population was the set of weekend and holiday visitors, 20 years of age and older, to Jogyesan Provincial Park in Jeonnam, during the summer of 2003. A questionnaire was offered to every tenth person entering the park on every other weekend day and both holidays (June 1 and September 30). It was obvious that the interpretive program at Jogyesan Provincial Park, to meet the expectations of its visitors, should provide: (1) visitors with opportunities to experience the out-of-doors and learn about the cultural, historical and natural surroundings; (2) opportunities for the visitors to relax and escape from the normal and work environment; and (3) opportunities for the visitors to experience an atmosphere which enables them to achieve and self-actualize. In the area of interpretive programs, expectations are usually priorities, except for mountain climbing and exercise. Enhancing achievement and self-actualization is rarely a consideration and needs more emphasis in the future interpretive programs and plans.

이 연구는 '전시작전통제권 환수 논란'을 다룬 주요 언론의 내러티브 프레임을 분석하고 프레임 경쟁에서 드러나는 저널리즘 해석 공동체의 특성을 고찰했다. 전작권 환수 논란 보도의 프레임 유형을 분석한 결과, 정치적 이념 대립을 반영하는 '자주국방과 평화 지향', '자주와 동맹의 균형', '한미동맹과 안보 우선' 프레임을 추출했다. 환수 논란을 둘러싼 이슈 문화의 의미 지형이 해석 집단별로 구조화되는 과정을 살피고자 심층 인터뷰를 통해 담당 기자들의 저널리즘 담론도 분석했다. 이를 통해 해석 집단 간의 프레임 경쟁 구도, 곧 환수 논란의 이슈 문화가 거시적 권력구조(진보-중도-보수)와 저널리즘 실천양식(객관-주창)의 긴장 관계를 반영할 뿐 아니라, 자신의 선호 해석을 사회의 지배적 해석으로 구축하려는 과정에서 각 해석 집단이 기대는 해석 양식의 경계와 일치하고 있음을 확인했다. 언론의 프레임 경쟁 이면에 내재하는 해석 권위의 충돌로 인해 합리적인 보도 담론의 형성은 물론 해석 집단 간의 숙의가 제약 당하고 있음도 추론할 수 있었다. 언론의 숙의 역할에 비춰 분석 결과가 제기하는 실천적 함의를 비판적으로 논의했다.

The purpose of this study was to examine middle school students' three behavioral systemic needs for the Housing chapter in Home Economics curriculum, Through literature review, the concepts of the three behavioral systems in this study were divided into technical, interpretive and emancipatory one. The questionnaire survey method was used, The subjects were selected randomly the third grade 259 students at 6 middle schools located in Jeonju city, from December 17, 2004 to January 17, 2005, Data were analyzed by using SPSS/WIN 11.5 program. The results were as follows; 1) Average of importance which middle school students recognized was showed the interpretive behavioral system> the emancipatory behavioral system> the technical behavioral system, That of reflection of the text book was showed that the technical was same with the interpretive, and the emancipatory was a little lower value than two systems, And needs in each system were the emancipatory behavioral system> the technical behavioral system> the interpretive behavioral system, 2) Average needs were showed according to the sub-chapter of housing. 'Preservation and Repair of house' in the technical behavioral system and 'Indoor Environment and Equipment' in the interpretive and the emancipatory behavioral systems.

The purpose of the paper is to apply Total Interpretive Structural Modeling (TISM) used to develop a hierarchy among the key drivers and barriers to multivendor ATM Technology adoption in India from the perspectives of suppliers. TISM approach is an extension of Warfield's (IEEE Transactions: System, Man & Cybernetics 4:405-17, 1974) Interpretive Structural Modeling(ISM) approach. Based on the literature, drivers and barriers for adoption of Multivendor ATM Technology are identified. TISM is used to develop a hierarchical model which states the interpretation of relationship among these drivers and barriers. Hierarchies of all relevant drivers and barriers are developed and significant interrelationship was found out. Implications for the researchers and Industry Practitioner are highlighted. For Researchers, TISM methodology facilitates to further carry out exploratory studies by identifying the factors in technology adoption domain and focus their interactions through hierarchical structures. For Practitioners with suppliers, a list of relevant barriers and drivers to adoption of this technology in India are indications to take a decision to adopt Multivendor ATM Technology in their respective suppliers. The proposed Model developed through qualitative Modeling technique has been accomplished from the perspectives of suppliers in India in the domain of multivendor ATM Technology for the first time in ATM Banking as a contribution to the Literature.

Purpose - The present study examines the interrelationship between various components constituting shopping experience in the context of the Indian shopping malls. Research design, data, and methodology - Extracting components of shopping experience from the literature review, the study used Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) to propose a conceptual model. The study adopted a mixed methods research involving theoretical constructs from past research, qualitative assessment of relationship between the constructs and imposing definite order and direction to qualitative relations based on mathematical computations. Results - Proposed model indicates that the five components of shopping experience (ambience, physical infrastructure, convenience, marketing focus and safety and security) do not converge directly into shopping experience. Rather, they operate following a hierarchy of influences in which marketing focus plays the role of the initiator. Conclusions - This model points at the order of preference of different components of shopping experience and can be a useful guide for retail industry, especially mall developers and supermarket/hypermarket, may use the findings in key decisions about development of physical infrastructure, which are based on marketing focus.

자기안내식 해설판의 정보전달 효과를 높이기 위해서는 해설판 글자의 가독성에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 해설판의 글자속성에 따른 가독성을 각각 비교하였다. 2004년도 9-11월중 무등산도립공원 내 너덜겅 지역에서 총 1391명의 응답자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 선정된 5개 글자속성(글자체, 글자정렬, 글줄간격, 글자간격, 한 줄의 글자수)의 가독성 비교 결과, 글자크기 58포인트의 경우 글자체는 'Hy 견명조', 글자정렬은 '양단정렬', 글줄간격은 190%(한글 2002), 글자간격은 10(한글 2002), 한 줄의 글자수는 25자일 때 각 글자속성의 가독성이 최적으로 나타났다. 최적 가독성으로 나타난 각각의 글자속성을 조합하여 제작한 해설판의 글자를 예시하였으며, 가독성과 관련하여 해설판 글자디자인과 추후 연구 문제에 대하여 토의하였다.

What is individuals' privacy notion, and does it change with the social roles taken up by them? We explored these questions using a qualitative interpretive research approach. We found that individuals have mixed notion of privacy. Individuals view privacy either as a commodity or as a control. Further, we found that an individual's privacy notion is a function of their social role within the society and their privacy preferences. Our research points to the importance of expanding the notion of privacy to encompass a broader understanding of privacy preferences. We theorize our findings using social penetration theory and presents a privacy model which provides the logical framework for interpreting people's views on privacy.

본 논문에서는 함수 기능에서 로직 게이트 기능까지 시뮬레이션 가능한 고성능의 로직 시뮬레이터(HSIM) 개발에 대해서 논한다. 개발된 로직 시뮬레이터는 입력부, 시 뮬레이터 본체, 출력부로 구성되어 있으며, 입력부에는 네트 리스트 컴파일러, 부품 정보 컴파일러가 포함된다. 시뮬레이터 본체에는 시뮬레이션 속도를 높이기 위한 각종 기술과 시뮬레이터의 중심 부분인 시뮬레이션 엔진 등이 소속되어 있다. 출력부에는 시뮬레이션 결과를 분석하는 파형 분석기가 있다. 개발된 시뮬레이터 본체의 주요 특 징은 점진적 로더를 사용하여 컴파일된 부품 기능들을 시뮬레이션 엔진에서 직접 로드 하여 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 이렇게 한 결과 기존의 유릿 딜레어 event-driven interpretive 시뮬레이터와 비교했을 때 55% 이상 속도가 빠른 효과적인 성능 향상을 달성했다.

The healthcare business is growing as a global core business because of the phenomenon of global aging, as well as in South Korea, skyrocketing health care costs accordingly, and changing the paradigm from treatment to the prevention-centered medical service. Especially, as the digital healthcare service stands out as a solution, major countries actively promote and support policies at the government level. Thus, this study will present attributes of a market-oriented service that would vitalize the digital healthcare service industry by investigating major attributes of the digital healthcare service. To analyze the relationships of the influences of attributes, this study used Interpretive Structural Modeling. As a result of literature research and ISM, this study can understand the eight basic attributes of the digital healthcare service (network scalability, context awareness, connection among information platforms, cost, trust, security, ease of use, usefulness) and analyze the relationships of the influences among the attributes. In addition, as this study finds some significant differences in Order Winner and Order Qualifier between the experts' group (security) and the users' group (trust, ease of use, usefulness), It provides meaningful implications for revitalization and promotion of digital healthcare service industry.

Purpose - The present study examines interrelationships among antecedent factors defining consumer behavior in selecting online shopping websites. Research design, data, and methodology - The study identified factors from existing literature and used Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) to propose a conceptual approach to explain consumer website selection behavior. Through extensive discussions among industry and academia experts, qualitative assessment of the relationship between various factors was determined. Results - According to the model, eight congregating factors do not converge directly for website selection, rather, they operate following a hierarchy of influence. The ISM and MICMAC analysis reveal that information on a website and website aesthetics play key roles in influencing website selection. However, convenience and the value proposition also play very significant roles. Conclusions - The study's findings can help the e-commerce industry, especially online retailers. The findings can be used to enhance e-retailer ability to attract, communicate, engage, achieve, monitor, and evaluate web traffic and design appropriate strategies. The study's prime contribution is the application of Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) to the field of website selection.
