It was found that positive collectivism generally influenced on constructive communication behaviors while negative collectivism generally influenced on deconstructive communication behaviors.
Objectives: This study aimed to examine the correlation between dental care compliance and patients' satisfaction about dental hygienists who are oral health care experts likely to lead patients' motivation. Methods: From June 11 to September 30, 2019, a questionnaire survey was conducted and a total of 189 people completed a structured questionnaire evaluating patient's satisfaction and dental compliance. Data were analyzed using non-parametric tests such as Mann-Whitney test, Kruskal-Wallis rank test, and Spearman's correlation. Results: There was a statistically significant correlation between dental care compliance and the area of good impression (r=0.187, p<0.001), support for interpersonal support (r=0.346, p<0.001), and dissatisfaction (r=0.304, p<0.001). Conclusions: It is necessary to continuously study and identify ways to enhance dental care compliance and patients' satisfaction.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to define and clarify the concept of 'resilience' in patients with cardiovascular diseases. Methods: A hybrid model was used to develop the concept of resilience. The model included a field study carried out in Cheonan, Korea. The participants in this study were 9 patients with cardiovascular diseases who underwent a percutaneous coronary intervention. Results: The concept of resilience was found to be a complex phenomenon having meanings in two dimensions: the personal-dispositional and interpersonal dimensions. Four attributes and seven indicators were defined. Conclusion: A resilient person was defined as one who has a positive attitude toward restoration, the power to reconstruct and control his/her disease (personal dimension), and support from a supportive system with supportive persons (interpersonal dimension). In the clinical setting, resilience plays an important role in managing the care plans of cardiovascular patients. Therefore, nurses who work closely with patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases should be aware of the attributes and indicators of resilience to enhance the resilience of their patients.

This study was designed to construct and test a structural equation model for related factors that affect to self-regulated learning in nursing students. The nursing students was asked to complete a questionnaire, and 273 data units were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling. The hypothetical model fit indices for the model revealed a fit at a recommended level, and 5 of the 6 paths were statistically significant explaining 68% of the variance. Therefore, education that improves self-determination, interpersonal competence and achievement goal orientation will promote self-regulated learning of nursing students. Competence programs to build the self-autonomy and relationships should be developed.

Secondly, gonernment have to support to reduce 'bottleneck to life' and 'anxiety(of health)'. Academic implications are as follow. Firstly, factors that are studied exploratively have to be tested by systematic empirical study. Secondly, which of short-term, lagged or cumulative is the nature of the affecting effect and the reciprocal relationship between depression and factors affecting the depression has to be studied empirically.

Objectives: Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) has been theoretically, clinically, and empirically associated with emotional dysregulation. NSSI is a means of regulating emotional states, particularly negative emotions. However, empirical studies on this topic are scarce and the literature lacks qualitative research on individuals' perceptions and comprehension of the function of self-injury. Thus, this qualitative study aimed to provide novel insights into the relationship between NSSI and emotional dysregulation in young adults. Methods: Twelve participants (mean age=22.7 years, 9 females and 3 males) from different support groups and a healthcare center participated in semi-structured interviews on NSSI-related emotional processes. Three aspects were investigated: reasons for NSSI, function of NSSI, and emotions. Each interview was voice recorded and typically lasted between 20 and 40 minutes. All responses were analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: Four major themes were identified. The results showed that NSSI had both intrapersonal and interpersonal functions, within which emotional regulation played a significant role. NSSI was also used to regulate positive emotions. The results also showed a sequence of emotions among the participants, going from feeling overwhelmed to feeling relatively calm but guilty. Conclusion: NSSI has several functions for the same individual. Thus, it would be interesting to provide integrative therapy, such as emotion-focused therapy, which focus on improving intrapersonal and interpersonal emotion regulation skills and strategies.

This study aims to identify research trends and explore the latest methods of applying aromatherapy to the elderly. The main objective is to provide evidence in support of development of an aromatherapy nursing intervention program for the elderly. This investigation is in the form of a literature review focusing on the current status and trends in research conducted on aromatherapy intervention programs for the elderly in Korea over past decade. Published studies were identified through database such as KCI, RISS, DBpia, NDSL. A total 14 studies were selected for this review. The majority of selected articles fall within the field of nursing. The duration of the programs varied, ranging from less than 20 minutes to over 40 minutes, and consisted of 1 to 6 sessions. Most of methods involved massages using lavender oil in a hospital setting. Outcome variables were categorized into three main domains based on significance: psychological-emotional, interpersonal relationship, and physical-physiological. The variables within each category varied with 4 in psychological-emotional, 1 in interpersonal relationship, and 17 in physical-physiological. This review indicates that aromatherapy intervention programs have positive effects on the elderly and suggests the potential for developing similar interventions on a broader scale within community settings in the future.
