The Effects of ADHD Tendency on Depression among College Students: Mediation Effect of Interpersonal Problem (대학생의 ADHD 경향이 우울에 미치는 영향: 대인관계 문제의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of interpersonal problem on the relationship between ADHD tendency and depression in college students. Data collection started from October to November in 2020 and the duration of data collection was about 1 month. College students were administered questionnaires of ADHD tendency, depression, and interpersonal problem scales. Data from 201 college students were analyzed with structural equation model using SPSS and AMOS program. The results indicated that there were significant positive correlations among ADHD tendency, depression, and interpersonal problem in college students. And there was a full mediation effect of interpersonal problem on the relationship between ADHD tendency and depression in college students. The result suggests ADHD tendency do not directly influence on depression but ADHD tendency influence on depression through interpersonal problem in college students. Current findings can contribute to the counseling and clinical field by providing the strategy of reducing interpersonal problem to prevent the depression and enhance the psychological health of those who have ADHD tendency in college students.

A Study on the Background Variables Influencing the Interpersonal Behavior of Youth (청소년기의 대인행동에 미치는 배경요인에 관한 연구 -일반고등학교.산업체.산업체 부설고등학교 청소년을 중심으로-)

  • The author aimed at clarifying the background variables that influence on the interpersonal behavior of youth, and getting the data for comprehensive guidance programs of youth in high schools and industries. In this study the author samples academic high school boys and girls, attached high schools boys and girls to industries and laboring youths. the Scale of interpersonal behavior was administered to the youths sampled as above and the data were analysed accounting to groups, sex, and religious. The results of the study are as follows. 1. The most important factor influenced the interpersonal behavior of youth was identified as social environment. That is, the youths in industries or students attached high school to industries showed more prominent characteristics in interpersonal behavior patterns. Then industrial environment effects more on the youth's behavior than school environment. 2. Sex differences were identified is in interpersonal behavior of youths. Boys are more managerial and autocretice, more cooperative, more docile, more self-efacing, more aggressive and more aggressive and more resistant than girls. But in christian group there found no sex differences is interpersonal behavior. 3. Religion was thought to be one of the most important influencing factor to the interpersonal behavior .But in this study there found no realistic effects, of religion on the interpersonal behavior as much as though of. 4. But according to the denominations, christianity was found to influences more on the interpersonal behavior of youths than Buddhism.

The Influences of Young Children's Emotionality and Inter/Intrapersonal Intelligence on Behavioral Problems (유아의 긍정적, 부정적 정서성이 내면화 및 외현화 행동문제에 미치는 영향: 대인관계지능 및 개인이해지능의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study focused on the links between emotionality, interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence, and behavior problems in a sample of 185 four- to five-year-old children in kindergarten and daycare centers in Seoul. All variables were measured by the teachers of surveyed children. Collected data were analyzed by Simple Regression and Hierarchical Multiple Regression. The main results of this study were as follows: Firstly, children's positive and negative emotionality each exerted negative and positive effects on their interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence. Secondly, children's positive emotionality had a negative influence on internalizing behavior problems. On the other hand, children's negative emotionality had a positive influence on internalizing and externalizing behavior problems. Finally, effect of children's positive emotionality on their internalizing behavior problems was totally mediated by interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence. On the other hand, effect of children's negative emotionality on their internalizing and externalizing behavior problems was partially mediated by their interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence.

The Impact of Interactional Justice and Supply-Chain Collaboration on Sustainable SCM Performance: The Case of Multinational Pharmaceutical Firms

  • This study explored the impact of interactional justice on supply-chain collaboration and sustainable supply-chain performance. Accordingly, it classified interactional justice of supply-chain management (SCM) into interpersonal and informational justice, and empirically classified the effects of these subordinate concepts on supply-chain collaboration and sustainable supply-chain performance. To this end, 700 questionnaires were distributed, and 201 final valid responses were used for the statistical analysis which revealed the significant positive influence of interpersonal justice on informational justice. This indicates that courtesy, respect, and proper words are important in the relationship between buyers and sellers. Both interpersonal and informational justice had a significant positive relationship with supply-chain collaboration. The results suggest that a fair-trade environment should be cultivated to encourage and facilitate seller-buyer collaboration. Lastly, supply-chain collaboration had a positive influence on sustainable supply-chain performance. This implies that if justice is not perceived in the seller-buyer relationship, collaboration can be hindered, which negatively impacts corporate performance. These findings also helped to understand the importance of interactional justice and to propose a new relationship between interpersonal and informational justice.

The Factors Influencing Nursing Profession Perception of Nursing Student (간호대학생의 간호직 인식 영향요인)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the factors influencing the nursing profession perception of nursing students. Methods: Data were collected with a questionnaire distributed to 305 nursing students in U city. Data were collected from March 30 to June 15, 2019. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS 22.0 program. Results: There were significant differences in the level of interpersonal trust (F=5.42, p<.001), empathy ability (F=3.13, p=.015), interpersonal relationship ability (F=3.64, p=.006) and nursing profession perception (F=11.95, p<.001) on the major satisfaction. The level of interpersonal trust (r=.21, p<.001), empathy ability (r=.27, p<.001) and interpersonal relationship ability (r=.28, p<.001) were positively correlated with nursing profession perception. Also empathy ability (r=.11, p=.047), interpersonal relationship ability (r=.49, p<.001) with interpersonal trust and correlation of empathy ability with interpersonal relationship ability (r=.32, p<.001) were positively correlated with each other. The significant variables that influence the nursing profession perception were grade, major satisfaction, empathy ability and interpersonal relationship ability. These factors were responsible for 21.3%. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that educational programs are necessary to raise the nursing perception of nursing students and reduce the turnover of nurses.

The Effect of Socially Prescribed Perfectionism in Upper Elementary School Students on Their Interpersonal Anxiety: The Sequential Mediating Effect of Dichotomous Thinking and Rejection Sensitivity (초등학교 고학년 아동의 사회부과 완벽주의가 대인불안에 미치는 영향: 이분법적 사고와 거부민감성의 순차적 매개효과)

  • This study examined the effects of perceived discrimination on multicultural adolescents regarding feelings of This study examined the direct effect of socially prescribed perfectionism on interpersonal anxiety in upper elementary school students and the sequential mediating effect of dichotomous thinking and rejection sensitivity on this relationship. The sample comprised 306 upper elementary school students (grades 4 to 6; 149 boys, 48.7%) in Seoul, Incheon, and Busan. The Data were collected through an online self-report questionnaire completed by the participants and analyzed using SPSS version 27.0 and MPlus version 8.7 software. The analyses revealed three key findings. First the direct effect of socially prescribed perfectionism on interpersonal anxiety was not statistically significant. Second dichotomous thinking mediated the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and interpersonal anxiety, whereas rejection sensitivity did not. Finally, socially prescribed perfectionism influenced interpersonal anxiety through the sequential mediation of dichotomous thinking and rejection sensitivity. In conclusion, although socially prescribed perfectionism does not directly influence interpersonal anxiety, children may experience interpersonal anxiety in situations involving dichotomous thinking due to socially prescribed perfectionism, leading to rejection sensitivity. These findings suggest that interventions for interpersonal anxiety in upper elementary school students should focus on psychological problems attributed to socially prescribed perfectionism.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate interpersonal support, tension in lifechanges & satisfaction. The selected sample is composed of 387 housewives in ChongJoo city. SAS pc program was used for the statistical analysis of the data. Data was analyzed by frequency, F-test, percentage, mean, Duncan's Multiple Range Test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Regression Analysis. Major findings as follows: 1)At wedding & funeral ceremony, kin networks of her parents & parents-in law side were variables to have influence on tension in life changes. And the number of social organization participated were a variable to have influence on the satisfaction. The age of couple, education of couple, duration of marriage, income, family lifecycle, the number of children, pattern of family were variables to influence tension in life changes, but were not variables to influence on the satisfaction. 2) At usual or wedding & funeral ceremony, kin networks of her parents side were variables to influence on instrumental & companionship support. And the number of friends was a variable to influence on companionship & informational support. The number of neighbors was a variable to influence on instrumental, companionship & informational support. The number of social organization participated was a variable to influence on companionship & emotional support. The age of couple, education of couple,income, duration of marriage, family life cycle, number of children, family size, family type were variables to influence on interpersonal support. 3)The relationship between tension and satisfaction in life changes was negative, and between instrumental support and satisfaction was negative also. But between companionship support and satisfaction was positive relationship and between tension of personal &social life and instrumental support was positive relationship. The relationship between tension of marriage life and companionship support was negative and between tension of family life and information support was negative relationships. The received companionship support was lower tension in life changes than not received it. But the received instrumental support was higher tension of personal & social life. The received companionship & informational support was higher satisfaction than not received them. But the received instrumental support was lower satisfaction than not received it. 4) Instrumental & companionship support, at usual kin network of her parents in taw side, at wedding & funeral ceremony kin network of her parents side,were variables to influence on tension in life changes.   • The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediating effect of work environment and the moderating effect of gender on the influence of interpersonal relationship of fusion integrated generation of youths on organizational commitment. For this purpose, Korean Labor and Income Panel Study KLIPS 19th year data was used and the effect of interpersonal relationship of youths on the organizational commitment of 540 subjects in accordance with the study was examined and explored focusing on the model in relation to the mediating effects of the work environment and the control effects of gender. The main results are as follows. First, the interpersonal relationship and working environment of youths showed a positive effect on organizational commitment. Second, the working environment was found to be mediated completely in the relationship between the interpersonal relationship of youths and work environment and organizational commitment. Third, in the relationship between interpersonal relationship and organizational commitment of youths, it appeared that there was moderating effects of gender.

Influence of Interpersonal Attitude on Communication Competence in Care Workers for Frail Elderly (요양보호사의 대인태도가 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of interpersonal attitude (I+, I-, U+, U-) on communication competence in care workers for frail elderly. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional survey. The data were collected from 153 care workers for frail elderly using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. Results: The interpersonal attitude style of subjects was I+U+, and the score of communication competence was 3.53. There were significant differences in interpersonal attitude (I+, I-), and communication competence depending on age, education level, experience of personality type test (yes). Factors influencing on communication competence in care workers were interpersonal attitude (I+, I-, U+) and experience of personality type test with $R^2$ value of 48.5% (F=23.47 p<.001). The most influencing factor was I+ (${\beta}$=.36), followed by I- (${\beta}$=-.22), U+ (${\beta}$=.20), and experience of personality type test (yes) (${\beta}$=.16). Conclusion: It is needed to maintain the interpersonal attitude style (I+U+) of care workers. Continuing education program is needed for increasing communication competence especially for those fifties and over, and experienced care workers. Giving an opportunity for personality test is helpful to increase communication competence in care workers.

The Effects of Communicative Competence, Mother's Psychological Control, Family Strengths on Interpersonal Competence of University Student (대학생의 의사소통능력, 모의 심리적 통제, 가족 건강성이 대인관계 유능성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of communicative competence, mother's psychological control, and family strengths on interpersonal competence. The subjects of 285 college students who were enrolled in Gyeonggi province were surveyed for data collection. Hierarchical regression analysis was performed considering the influence of control variables. Main results of the study, with college students' gender, grade, birth order and number of siblings controlled, are as follows: Communicative competence had a significant effect on overall interpersonal competence, while mother's psychological control and family strengths had no significant effect on overall interpersonal competence. Next, the results of the study for each sub-factors of interpersonal competence are as follows: Communicative competence was found to be a variable that influence all the sub-variables of interpersonal competence including relationship formation and initiation, claiming for rights or discomfort, consideration for others, conflict management, and appropriate self-opening. Mother's psychological control has a negative effect only on conflict management, and family strengths has an effect on relationship formation and initiation, and appropriate self-opening.
