EGM과 Neural Network을 이용한 Website 감성사용성 분석시스템 프로토타입 구축 (Development of Prototype Kansei Usability Website Evaluation System based on EGM and Neural Network)

  • This paper described the developed website usability evaluation system in terms of Kansei engineering using neural network. Developed system simultaneously operates with the MS Internet Explorer by entering the target URL for usability evaluation, and the results are learned using neural network. We firstly derived the Kansei adjectives and website usability factors and they were matched by the correspondence analysis. Then, highly corresponded adjectives were implemented on the system for the Kansei evaluation. Finally, the results showed the appropriate efficiency of developed algorithm and system for the website evaluation. If more subjects were used for the system learning, the efficiency of system could be improved.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient configuration of a system for the remote control of a mobile robot. The interface has a video feedback and runs in standard web environments. For control servers of mobile robot and CCD camera, we use the environment with embedded web server Specific program has been developed in order to grab the images using Microsoft Visual C++ The external camera sends the video signal to a framegrabber in the PC, then this program grabs the images and puts them in shared memory in BMP format. For a video feedback, we use image feedback based on the client pull technique supported by Netscape and Internet Explorer.

  • This paper introduces a Web-based vibration analysis system for rotary-type refrigerator compressors. Concern for vibration reduction in compressors has been growing for many years. What is important in vibration reduction is to easily predict the vibration without using a physical compressor. The dynamic model of the compressor is represented as a multi-body dynamic system. Solving the dynamic model is run on a high-performance server. The interfaces of the system are accessible via Web browsers, such as Netscape or Explorer. Anyone who wants to analyze the vibration of the rotary compressor or share the results data can access the system over the Internet regardless of their OS, platform. or location.

  • An automatic remote water measurement system was developed. This system sends automatic remote measured and collected water meters data automatically from the transmitter with CDMA modem through SK-Telecom network The water meter data are received through LAH TCP/IP and displayed as test file on IE(Internet Explorer) window. The existing water meters of mechanical type have so many problems to measure data. The person must visit the location of each water meters and write down the data records manually. In this system the RF module has attached each water meter Client/Server programs are developed by network socket programming.

  • XLL은 웹 상에서 문서의 표준화와 데이터베이스로서의 역할을 잘 감당한다. 이러한 이점 때문에 XML 관련 표준안들이 늘어나고 개발되고 있는 추세이다. XML 관련 표준안으로는 XSL, 스키마, 네임스페이스, XLL 등이 있다. 이 중 XLL은 현재 IE(Internet Explorer) 5.5에서도 제대로 지원되지 않아 XLL을 구현하기 위한 연구들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. XLL을 지원하는 브라우저, 프로그램, 컴포넌트들이 개발되었는데 이것들은 모두 해당 프로그램을 다운받거나 설치해야한다는 단점이 있고 특정 프로그램을 사용해야 하는 부담이 따른다. 본 논문은 웹 상에서 아무런 프로그램이 없이 XML 문서의 URL을 등록하면 그 문서에 있는 XLL을 DB를 이용하여 저장하고, ASP 및 DOM을 이용하여 DB에 저장된 XLL과 원래 문서에 포함된 XLL을 웹 상에서 바로 보여질 수 있도록 구현한다. XML 문서가 HTML을 넘어서 대중화가 되었을 때 웹 로봇이 XLL 등록하는 역할을 하도록 한다면 XML을 기반으로 하는 검색사이트로서의 역할을 감당할 수 있다.

  • 가상현실(Virtual Reality)의 응용분야는 지금까지의 연구성과로 인하여 연구와 활용분야가 다양해지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 지금도 많은 연구가 활발히 진행 중에 있다. 그러나 통신의 발달로 인해 네트워크 사용이 생활화됨으로써 더이상 VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language) 이 Netscape Navigator Microsoft Internet Explorer같은 웹 브라우져상에서 단순한 3차원 오브젝트만을 보여주는 시기는 지났다. 사용자들은 3차원 오브젝트를 사용해서 공간적, 지역적으로 멀리 떨어져있는 상대방과의 실시간 대화는 물론 상대방의 행위를 보고 그에 대한 자신의 행위를 보여중으로써 현실감을 느끼고 싶어한다. 더욱이 가까운 미래에 수많은 사용자들은 3D를 기반으로 자신을 분신인 아바타를 사용하여 하나의 가상세계를 공유하고 가상 이벤트를 사용하여 하나의 가상세계를 공유하고 가상 이벤트에 참석을 하게 될 것이다. 이러한 종류의 어플리케이션을 제공하기 위해서는 3D그래픽스처리와 사용자 인터페이스 및 네트워크 환경을 제공해야만 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존의 다중사용자용 VRML브라우저중의 하나인 OZ Virtual의 여러가지 비능에 대해서 살펴보고, VRML이 어떻게 대화식, 분산, 다중사용자 가상 세계에 적합하게 확장될 수 있는지를 두중사용자용 VRML시스템의 구조를 통해서 증명해 본다.

  • This development has tried to scheme out the convenience for users to use the 3D modeling solution which is developed from the existing programs. The extended 3D modeling solution, to be developed through the use of the API which is provided and Microsoft Access, database is able to reuse the parts, subassemblies of parts, and assemblies. A methodology exhibits the possibility to use a Spinfire Professional Spinfire Reader program. The web evaluation system, which is used to connected with the Internet explorer and to construct a web service, will repeat the evaluations of the company staffs and customers about the new products which the company have designed. The furniture manufacturing company will adopt the 3D modelling solution in modelling the new products and go through the web evaluation system to collect dissatisfied facts of the customers or the company staffs against the new product. Finally, it will contribute to the enormous benefit creation of the enterprise.

디지털시장이 소비자에게 미치는 영향: 소비자의 이익과 비용을 중심으로 (The Impacts of Digital Markets on Consumers: Emerging Costs and Benefits of Digital Markets to Consumers)

  • This study delves into emerging costs and benefits of digital markets to consumers through in-depth interviews with 5 women and 4 men consumers. Four themes are founded from the analysis of the transcript as follows: 1) benefits of Internet shopping consisted with convenience, price efficiency, and fun, 2) distorted efficiencies consisted with distorted price efficiency, distorted time efficiency, and limited choices based on familiarity, 3) addiction to digital market consisted with waste, distorted satisfaction, and solidarity, and 4) stages in consumer types according to shopping experiences from the novice, the explorer, the expert, and the addict in part and the addict in part. These themes imply consumer benefits from economic and esthetic aspects and mixed consumer costs according to consumer's level of informatization. This study concludes that the digital market is morphogenic, flexible, fluid market and therefore, the real features of the digital market are yet to come. More research attention should be highlighted in the impacts of digital market to consumers from various perspectives with various methodologies.

Web browser secureness with respect to CVSS

  • Analysis of characteristics in software vulnerabilities can be used to assess security risks and to determine the resources needed to develop patches quickly to handle vulnerability discovered. Being a new research area, the quantitative aspects of software vulnerabilities and risk assessments have not been fully investigated. However, further detailed studies are required related to the security risk assessment, using rigorous analysis of actual data which can assist decision makers to maximize the returns on their security related efforts. In this paper, quantitative software vulnerability analysis has been presented for major Web browsers (Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox (FX), Chrome (CR) and Safari (SF)) with respect to the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS). The results show that, almost all the time, vulnerabilities are compromised from remote networks with no authentication required systems, and exploitation aftermath is getting worse.
