  • We know there are tremendous increasing of electronic commerce transaction but don't have efficient method to cover the risk of it. Even though the risk why we make a deal by electronic commerce. The reason, I think, is its conveniences of little cost and by no means of papers or tele-communications. When the valid contracts are achieved you may have some problems because of different legal systems of the world. If the contractual quarrels break it is very difficult to solve it. So it is important to choose the governing law to avoid troubles when you make the contract on internet electronic commerce. The purpose of this study is to review the general principles of contract of internet electronic commerce.

  • Understanding user acceptance of the Internet, especially the intentions to use Internet commerce and mobile commerce, is important in explaining the fact that these commerce have been growing at an exponential rate in recent years. This paper studies factors of new technology to better understand and manage the electronic commerce activities. The theoretical model proposed in this paper is intended to clarify the factors as they are related to the Technology Acceptance Model. More specifically, the relationship among trust and other factors are hypothesized. Using the Technology Acceptance Model, this research reveals the importance of the hedonic factor. The result of this research implies that the ways of stimulating and facilitating customers' participation in mobile commerce should be differentiated from those in Internet commerce.

  • Since the internet is open to public in 1990, electronic commerce(EC) user has increase rapidly. Now EC is considered not only as communication method but also as new economical activities. EC is a kind of new commerce model which uses electronic means. And EC has global characteristics so that many country's legislation which regulates it differently makes an obstacle to vital of EC. The purpose of this study is to examine legal problems of internet electronic commerce. First, there are some legal problems whether electronic document has same legal function like traditional documents. Second, electronic signature must has authenticity, integrity, non-repudiation, writing and confidentiality in order to use looks like common signature. Finally, electronic contract is concluded on principle of mutual agreement. It is apparent that the concept of arrival is applied to the date and place in conclusion of electronic contract.

  • Commerce activities which are free form space and time constraint using a communication network are called Electronic Commerce(EC). Because of sending a commercial information using open network such as Internet in EC, they need the security of commerce information (payment information and purchase information), checking the integrity of transferring data and certifying all parts participated in commerce for a secure commerce. Recently Visa and MasterCard Co. released the Secure Electronic Transaction (SET) Protocol for secure payment card transaction on Internet. This paper proposes a Secure Electronic Commerce Transaction Model(SECTM) using SET in order to support the secure commerce on Internet. The proposed transaction model prevents merchant from abusing the cardholder's payment information (credit-card number etc.) and enables cardholder to shop securely in Electronic Shopping Mall.

  • This study introduced the new technologies that are expanding the realm of electronic commerce to the Internet and small business. Each of the key components of electronic commerce(contracts, signatures, notaries, payment systems and adult trails)are supported in the new electronic commerce. Electronic commerce is more than just handling purchase transactions and funds transfers over the internet. Despite Electronic commerce's past roots in transactions between large corporations, banks, and other financial institutions, the use of the internet as a way to bring Electronic commerce to the individual consumer has led to shift in viewpoint. Over the past few years, both the press and the business community have increased their focus on Electronic commerce involving the consumer Effective payment system should be established for the internet commerce. In this study, we examined the current development and application of Electronic payment system. Two different payment systems are used and under application. One is IC-card type of payment system which has gained popularity in England, Hong-Kong, and many other countries as a substitution of cash. The other type of payment system is e-cash, which is used more conveniently for the payment through internet. The question of which method is better fitted for the internet commerce should be evaluated in the view of cost and benefit since the associated technology is still under evolution.   • The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristic of mobile commerce based on mobile internet and diagnose obstacles and suggest promotional plans in terms of for mobile commerce. First of all, this study defines the concept of mobile internet and mobile commerce as on, and then analyzes the characteristic and the status quo of mobile commerce in the aspect of technology and business and customer. In conclusion this study there are many problems to overcome to expand mobile commerce environment. However, the environment of internet is moving from online to wireless and the volume of e-commerce through internet is growing rapidly. Thus, mobile commerce will be a matter of course in information society.

  • As with the fast spread of internet uses in recent years, electronic commerce has evolved. The proliferation of electronic commerce has increased diverse forms of fraud cases since internet helps intended criminals remain anonymous. In absence of effective tools to warrant the reliability of parties offering products or services through electronic commerce, consumers have to absorb damages unfairly. Internet escrow service has been considered to be an option to establish reliability between buyers and sellers and to protect consumers from possible fraud cases. However, like other industries, fraudulent escrow services have appeared in internet. This study has been intended to analyze fraudulent internet escrow services and to propose an effective regulatory system of internet escrow services. To do that, this study benchmarked the regulation of the State of California, primarily focusing on the formation of escrow company, regulation of escrow business, and remedies for wrongdoing, so Korea can consider the adoption of similar systems.

  • Todays, computers in business world are potent facilitators that most companies could not without them, while they are only tools. They offer extremely efficient means of communication, particularly when connected to Internet. What I stress in this article is the risks accompanied by e-commerce rather than the advantages of Internet or e-commerce. The management of e-commerce companies, therefore, should keep in mind that the benefit of e-commerce through the Internet are accompanied by enhanced and new risks, cyber risks or e-commerce risks. For example, companies are exposed to computer system breakdown and business interruption risks owing to traditional and physical risks such as theft and fire etc, computer programming errors and defect softwares and outsider's attack such as hacking and virus. E-commerce companies are also exposed to tort liabilities owing to defamation, the infringement of intellectual property such as copyright, trademark and patent right, negligent misrepresent and breach of confidential information or privacy infringement. In this article, I would like to suggest e-commerce insurance or cyber liability insurance as a means of risk management rather than some technical devices, because there is not technically perfect defence against cyber risks. But e-commerce insurance has some gaps between risks confronted by companies and coverage needed by them, because it is at most 6 or 7 years since it has been introduced to market. Nevertheless, in my opinion, e-commerce insurance has offered the most perfect defence against cyber risks to e-commerce companies up to now.
