The protection of Design is very important issues in these days. Even though Interior Design is also one of important design sections, it is relatively unprotected by formal intellectual property laws, yet creativity and innovation flourish. The needs for protection of Interior Design have been creased. The aim of this study is to suggest the weakness of the system for protection of Interior Design. The proposed research is comprised of two themes. One is to research Acts related to protection of Interior Design. The second is to study the registered cases under the Design Protection Acts. These two theme is generated by the comparative review between ROK and U.S.A. Through these comparative results, this study propose some considerations for an effective protection for Interior Design. Design need to be registered in the hole image of the space not a partial element. The concept needs to be protected because it is more effective way to respond the copying. Exterior for facade and Interior Design need to be registered in one registration to use the protection system actively.

This study aims to find out various users' diverse interior design needs for their housing and interior design through the personality, which is intrinsic and consistent traits of the individual. The survey research followed the literature reviews including personality studies and interior design assessments. 176 undergraduate and graduate students as controlled by age, sex, and major answered the questionnaire. Their housing and interior design attitudes, the semiotic assessment of interior design styles, and interior design preference were compared in accordance with four pairs of preference dichotomy of MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator): Extraversion -Introversion, Sensing-iNtuition, Thinking-Feeling, Judging-Perceiving. As a result, the framework of housing and interior design needs by the users' personality types are proposed. It shows specific needs for 16 types of personality based on eight preference dichotomy: extroversion-open, introversion-closed, sensing-functional, intuition-emotional, thinking-restricted, feeling-receptive, judging-simple, and perceiving-creative.

Because 6sigma is doing innovative success In management whole, estimate that can exert direct effect in interior Design management. Therefore, this study did by purpose that 6sigma that is scientific method that do customers satisfaction by ultimate purpose acts as basic study that can heighten practical use Possibility and result of interior Design management and value by interior design standardization process. Need to use marketing data that is scientific design component at schematic design step for successful interior design that can improve result. Hereupon, this study is doing to big dimension that utilizes 6sigma and makes standard process of only Interior Design, and did to dimension that present study phase verifies if '6sigma' is practical use possibility by intoner design process. Did by method that verification method of 6sigma practical use possibility analyzes "Information transmission efficiency improvement of department store display space" 6sigma project example. When see that example project is analyzed on Improvement constituent that "Design improvement" out of Vital few Xs of statistical analysis item must heighten the customers satisfaction rate conclusively, target process might be established because design becomes center of gravity if did design improvement very first time. Finally, possibility that 6sigma can utilize in process of interior design is verified, and it is scientific methodology that can utilize to all business members that there are not any special category of business even if is in practical use. Such scientific 6sigma method need persistent study that make standard process analyzing a lot of problems that is expected to be beaconed and happens substantially in here after to management development of interior design.

This study is intended to explore the tendency of interior design which have sustained the periodic changes throughout the history. After analysis of changes in interior design from 1920's early modernism to nowadays, the conclusion is as follows. In view of the human psychology, the main trend of consistent periodic changes is the revolutionary change of tension and relaxation, and the pursuit of such a change in design is rooted in the human basic need to get the vital energy through stimuli by giving and taking the variety in the public society.

This study investigates the effects of interior design elements on the satisfaction and preference for space. Field measurements and surveys were conducted in three coffeeshops where various interior design elements were applied. Results indicate that movable tables and chairs for two people were preferred in the space. They need to be placed flexibly according to the visitors' needs to improve satisfaction for convenience. To improve spatial satisfaction, the brightness of color applied to wall surfaces was recommended to be lower than that of color used for floor surfaces. The surfaces of space and interior design elements such as furniture also need to be kept clean. Lamps with lower color temperature were effective to enhance spatial satisfaction. Light sources should be shielded when a pendant lighting system with general diffuse type was used in space. Natural daylight through window was also required for better satisfaction level. Multiple linear regression implied that the cozy feeling by electric light, existence of daylight, flexible layouts for tables and chairs, color and quality of material for tables and floor were significant contributors to overall spatial satisfaction.

Today the social concern about Interior Design gradually requires wide comprehension. Also according to demanders' requirement. Universities cope with speed. Interior Design made by experts for the function and purpose in the conception of decoration. Therefore, Universities we responsible to educate for more capable professional designers. But management is the first concern for Interior Design Company students are going to work at. Interior Design has not the important state yet in Korea, it is hard to manage the company with design alone. As architecture must get admittion, design is apart from construction. but they are worked together in Interior Design. It is true that all the work of construction is Capenters' or technical engineers' work except space design. Of course students are interested in just design not in construction. Students majoring in design need wide understanding of construction not a concept design. but detailed design for construction and proper valuation ability to manage company. I propose component and practical use of nude construction department to understand detailed design.

As living condition has improved, agreeable living environmental plans that reflect residential traits are needed from. the first stage of house remodeling or interior construction. At the request of above, we need systematically study about the householder's preference according to the life style. The purpose of this study is to suggest the case of preferred interior by understanding preferred Interior image and interior design elements. Document and questionnaire research are used as the method of study. The subjects of research wear 702 persons from 20th to 40th. Contents are constituted with general traits, life style and preferred interior image and the analysis of the materials is quantifical analysis using statistics. In the base of the theory of interior image and interior design elements appeared In the documents, measuring apparatus is made up and suggested preferred examples of interior design depend on life style by combining preferences.

Now interior designers have to meet this challenge by rising to the occasion and taking advantage of opportunities while strengthening their skills which have not kept pace with the increasing emphasis on design. furthermore, they are hampered by the lack of a general working design methodology. Interior designers in Korea have been slow to recognize the need for developing a specification methodology manual which could be adapted to meet varying requirements and modified to reflect designers experiences. The design process in Korean interior design often involves utilizing drawing document methods based on architectural prototypes rather than upon drawing methods developed by design firms as a result of work experience s and unique needs. However, these unique nees are nearly always limited by traditional working drawing methods. This has led to confusion and inaccuracies due to the lack of a single starndardized and universally acceptable working drawing methodology which is capable of reflecting the needs of all parties involved , partiality those of interior designers. This thesis is an attmepted to establish the necessity for developing a better working drawing methodogoy or technical mans of satisfying the information sorting and processing need s of interior design professionals, a five step suggestion for developing such a methodology follows. First, arrange pertinent design research information by means of a process which can be employed throughout the design process, from inception through to working drawing stage. The end result should be an interior architectural design process culminating in a pattern skillfully blending architecture, vision and product with environment . The design process should be manifested into a series of definable steps and yet sufficiently flexible and variable in order to provide the most apropos design solution. Secondly , motify the design methodology systematically according to site conditions and prevailing construction technology and manifest the design process in a booklet form so that it reflects a desired pattern. Thirdly, this methodology should incorporate a stand-ardized and functional process capable of being utilized to impact clear design concepts and objectives with preci-sion and efficiency in a manual form.

We spend a lot of time in indoor space, and the space has a huge impact on our lives. Interior design plays a significant role to make an indoor space attractive and functional. However, it should consider a lot of complex elements such as color, pattern, and material etc. With the increasing demand for interior design, there is a growing need for technologies that analyze these design elements accurately and efficiently. To address this need, this study suggests a deep learning-based design analysis system. The proposed system consists of a semantic segmentation model that classifies spatial components and an image classification model that classifies attributes such as color, pattern, and material from the segmented components. Semantic segmentation model was trained using a dataset of 30000 personal indoor interior images collected for research, and during inference, the model separate the input image pixel into 34 categories. And experiments were conducted with various backbones in order to obtain the optimal performance of the deep learning model for the collected interior dataset. Finally, the model achieved good performance of 89.05% and 0.5768 in terms of accuracy and mean intersection over union (mIoU). In classification part convolutional neural network (CNN) model which has recorded high performance in other image recognition tasks was used. To improve the performance of the classification model we suggests an approach that how to handle data that has data imbalance and vulnerable to light intensity. Using our methods, we achieve satisfactory results in classifying interior design component attributes. In this paper, we propose indoor space design analysis system that automatically analyzes and classifies the attributes of indoor images using a deep learning-based model. This analysis system, used as a core module in the A.I interior recommendation service, can help users pursuing self-interior design to complete their designs more easily and efficiently.

The purpose of this study was to find the degree of satisfaction of the Korean elderly with their existing residential environment and their propensity to move. The data were collected through interviews and structured questionnaires. The subjects were 1,200 nationwide elderly over the age of 60 selected by probability sampling proportionate to size. cluster and random sampling method. The data were analyzed with frequency. percentage. and $X^2$-test using the SAS package. The major findings were as follows: Most subjects were satisfied with their housing environment and had no intention of moving. The subjects were highly satisfied with their residential environment. did not tend to move. This result does not necessarily mean that there is no need for better housing and no need to design elderly housing in Korea. It implies the need for community integrated housing development with flexible service system.
