TCN(IEC 61375-1)을 이용한 열차진단제어장치의 실증시험 연구 (The On-Board Test Study of Train Diagnostic and Control System Using TCN(IEC 61375-1))

  • The Train Networks has a goal which requires the fast and correct data communication for distributable equipment systems. For this, in 1999, some train makers had established the standard TCN(IEC61375-1) for the inter-operating between equipment systems. Recently, TCN is being used in EU, China and the requirement to use it is growing up by many other countries more and more. The TCN was adopted at Korea High-speed Train with first in Korea, and Rotem Company finished the design of TCMS with TCN network for Istanbul EMU and KTX-2 Train and tests them. TCN(Train Communication Networks) defines the set of communication vehicle buses and train buses. The MVB(Multifunction Vehicle Bus) defines the data communication interface of equipment located in a vehicle and the WTB(Wire Train Bus) defines the data communication interface between vehicles. This paper examines whether the result of on-board test is satisfied with the IEC61375-1(International Electrotechnical Commission 61375-1) which is the international standard of TCN and introduce the results.

  • 본 논문에서는 사용자가 마우스나 키보드를 사용하지 않고 원거리에서 보다 쉽게 음악 감상이나 영화 감상이 가능하도록 PC용 적외선 통신 어댑터와 이를 활용한 응용 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 적외선 통신 어댑터는 적외선 수신부와 직렬 통신 인터페이스부로 구성된다. 적외선 수신부는 적외선 송신부(리모콘)의 입력 신호를 받아 적절한 스캔 코드를 생성하며, 직 렬 통신 인터페이스부는 생성한 스캔 코드를 직렬 통신을 통해 PC로 전달하는 기능을 한다. 개발한 응용 소프트웨어는 PC에서 음악 감상과 영화 감상 기능을 제공하며, 수신한 스캔 코드를 이용하여 재생, 정지, 일시 정지, 볼륨 조절 등의 제어가 가능하도록 구현하였다.

  • In this paper, a control system of the PUMA 560 robot manipulator using a PC (Personal Computer) is presented. The hardware of the designed control system is composed of IBM-PC/AT, interface board, selection board, interrupt generating circuit, and the servo control unit of the PUMA controller. A robot control library is developed using assembly and C language, and is composed of several low-level functions and arm interface routines, world model routines, arm kinematics routines, and motion command service routines. Using the designed library, joint interpolated motion and Cartesian interpolated motion of the PUMA robot manipulator are realized. In the future, our system is expected to be a very helpful basis and a useful tool for developing various control algorithms of robot manipulator using sensory information.

  • 현재 스마트 기기의 개발과 근거리 통신 기술의 발전으로 사물인터넷(IOT)에 관련한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 리눅스 및 안드로이드 운영체제(OS) 환경에서 근거리 통신 네트웍을 손쉽게 할 수 있는 인터페이스 보드를 설계 제작하였고, IoT 센서 모듈과 디바이스 드라이버 모듈 제작하였다. 디바이스들은 인터페이스 보드와 분리, 교체가 가능하게 하여 사물인터넷(I0T) 구현이 용이하도록 하였고, 안드로이드를 이용해 몇 가지 센서들을 제어할 수 있는 앱을 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 I/O 인터페이스 제어 보드와 ISA 인터페이스 제어 보든 그리고 레고 기반의 프로토타이핑(Prototyping)을 통해 실시간 신발 공정 컨베이어 제어를 위한 원격 감시 및 제어 시스템을 구현하였다. 컨베이어 서버에서 실시간으로 공정을 제어하기 위하여 작업의 우선권을 사용자가 정할 수 있는 RTLinux(Real-Time Linux)를 사용하였으며, RTLinux 기반으로 디바이스 드라이버를 작성하였다. 이를 통해 Client/Server 분산 환경 시스템의 구현 및 테스트를 하며, JMF(Java Media Framework) 기반의 모니터링 시스템을 구현하여 전체 공정 상황을 확인하였다.

Real-Time Power Electronics Remote Wiring and Measurement Laboratory (PermLAB) Using 3-D Matrix Switching Algorithms

  • This paper presents a new architecture, called "Power Electronics Remote Wiring and Measurement Laboratory (PermLAB)", that translates a common gateway interface (CGI) string from a remote web user to a web server connected to a 3-dimension switching matrix board, can be used to switch on and off, and to control a cluster of instruments and components. PermLAB addresses real-time connection, switching, and data acquisition over the Internet instead of using simulated data. A software procedure uses a signature system to identify each instrument and component in a complex system. The Web-server application is developed in HTML, JavaScript and Java, and in C language for the CGI interface, which resides in a controller portion of LabVIEW. The LabVIEW software fully integrates the Web sever, LabVIEW data acquisition boards and controllers, and the 3-dimensional switching matrix board. The paper will analyze a half-wave rectifier (AC - DC converter) circuit connected over the Internet using the PermLAB. PermLAB allows students to obtain real data by real-time wiring of real circuits in the laboratory using a "virtual breadboard" on the Web. The software for the Web-based 3-dimensional system is flexible, portable, can be integrated into many laboratory applications or expanded, and easily accessible worldwide.

  • In this paper, we suggest a way of implementing ISDN S-Interface through two-wire premises telephone networks instead of using four wires as in the existing ISDN systems. This will help many developing or underdeveloped countries in the world to introduce ISDN services, where they have only two or low wires as in-building telephone networks. We suggest new physical-layer specifications for two-wire S-interface similar to that in ITU-T recommendations I.430 for four-wire systems, design a tranceiver according to the suggested specifications, and implement it using an FPGA We build a test board with the chip on it and succeed in connecting to Internet.

  • This paper rotates to tile FPGA that is reffered to as the UTOSPI. The design goal of the FPGA is to convert the UTOPIA-3 bus interface to the SPI-3 bus interface, so that the SAR chips on the ATM interface board can be interfaced to the packet processor through this FPGA. We Propose a new architecture that has two Dual Port RAMs and flow control signals. To buffer data, the UTOSPI has a Dual port RAM in the receive direction and the same size of that in the transmit direction. This design has been implemented, compiled, and tested using a Xilinx Virtex-I XCV-300E FPGA.

Inter-Pin Skew Compensation Scheme for 3.2-Gb/s/pin Parallel Interface

  • An inter-pin skew compensation scheme is proposed, which minimizes the inter-pin skew of parallel interface induced by unequal trace length and loading of printed circuit board (PCB). The proposed scheme measures the inter-pin skew and compensates during power-up with simple hardware. The proposed scheme is applied to 3.2-Gb/s/pin DDR4 SDRAM and implemented in a 0.18 m CMOS process. The inter-pin skew is compensated in 324-cycles of 400-MHz clock and the skew is compensated to be less than 24-ps.

  • This paper presents a link layer design of DisplayPort interface with a state machine based on packet processing. The DisplayPort link layer provides isochronous video/audio transport service, link service, and device service. The merged video, audio main link, and AUX channel controller are implemented with 7,648 LUTs(Loop Up Tables), 6020 register, and 821,760 of block memory bits synthesized using a FPGA board and it operates at 203.32MHz.
