인터렉티브 스쿼트운동기구의 설계방법에 관한 연구 (A Study of the design method for Interactive squat exercise Instrument)

  • 스쿼트운동은 안전하고 효과적인 운동성과를 기대할 수 있는 중요한 프리웨이트운동의 하나로 하체강화운동에 가장 효과적인 운동으로 알려져 있다. 인터렉티브 스쿼트운동 장치를 활용하여 동적인 운동과정을 단순화하여 스쿼트 운동 동작을 모델링하고 이를 기반으로 한 생체신호 및 동작 분석을 수행할 수 있으며 또한 장치를 통해 사용자 자세교정을 통해 올바르고 효과 높은 스쿼트운동 과정을 확립할 수 있다. 제안된 모델링을 기반으로 설계된 풋플레이트에 위치한 로드셀의 검출된 신호를 활용하여 스쿼트동작을 생체신호검출과 검출된 신호처리과정을 거쳐 스쿼트운동의 오류동작을 검출해 내는 신호출력을 확보할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 제안된 인터랙티브 스쿼트운동장치의 설계방법과 동작의 안전성 분석방법은 생체역학 신호처리 방법에 기인하며 사용자의 스쿼트 운동자세를 해석을 위한 검출된 생체신호 및 동작신호를 통해 올바르지 못한 스쿼트 동작을 교정함으로서 바른 스쿼트 운동을 유도할 수 있으며 연구 결과를 VR 장치에 적용하거나 운동 평가를 위한 장치로 활용할 수 있다.

해외 이민 한국인의 정신건강관리를 위한 웹기반 지능형 전문가시스템 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of a Web-based Expert System using Artificial Intelligence for Management of Mental Health by Korean Emigrants)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this project was to develop an international web-based expert system using principals of artificial intelligence and user-centered design for management of mental health by Korean emigrants. Using this system, anyone can access the system via computer access to the web. Methods: Our design process utilized principles of user-centered design with 4 phases: needs assessment, analysis, design/development/testing, and application release. A survey was done with 3,235 Korean emigrants. Focus group interviews were also conducted. Survey and analysis results guided the design of the web-based expert system. Results: With this system, anyone can check their mental health status by themselves using a personal computer. The system analyzes facts based on answers to automated questions, and suggests solutions accordingly. A history tracking mechanism enables monitoring and future analysis. In addition, this system will include intervention programs to promote mental health status. Conclusion: This system is interactive and accessible to anyone in the world. It is expected that this management system will contribute to Korean emigrants' mental health promotion and allow researchers and professionals to share information on mental health.

  • The word \"permaculture\" is a contraction of \"permanent agriculture\" or \"permanent culture\". Permaculture principles are designed to support (or ensure) the survival of humanity, the earth and all on it, and, to improve our standard of living, Permaculture can be defined as : a design system for creating sustainable human environments that can be (relatively) easily constructed and maintained. The principles of permaculture designs are relative location every element (such as house , rice paddy, road, esc) is placed in relation to each other such that each assists the other : each element performs multiple functions ; each function is supported by many elements : energy efficient planning ; using biological resources rather than fossil fuels : energy cycling on site (both fuel and human energy) : Using and accelerating natural plant succession to establish favourable sites and soils ; poly-culture and diversity of beneficial species for a productive, interactive system ; use of edge and natural patterns for best effect. These principles can be used for any permaculture design, in any climate, and at any scale. There has been very little scientific examination of Permaculture, and as such, it must be viewed as a design philosophy.viewed as a design philosophy.

  • In this paper, we design and implement practical application service using VoiceXML. And we suggest new solutions of problems can be occurred when implementing a new systems using VoiceXML, based on the fact. Up to now, speech related services were developed using API (Application Program Interface) and programming languages, which methods depend on system architectures. It thus appears that reuse of contents and resource was very difficult. To solve these problems, nowadays, companies develop their applications using VoiceXML. Advantages of using VoiceXML when developing services are as follows. First, we can use web developing technologies and technologies for transmitting web contents. And, we can save labors for low level programming like C language or Assembler language. And we can save labors for managing resources, too. As the result of these advantages, we can reduce developing hours of applications services and we can solve problem of compatibility between systems. But, there's poor grip of actual problems can be occurred when implementing their own services using VoiceXML. To overcome these problems, we implemented interactive stock trading system using VoiceXML and concentrated our effort to find out problems when using VoiceXML. And then, we proposed solutions to these problems and analyzed strong points and weak points of suggested system.

  • 이 논문에서는 멀티미디어 회의를 하면서 공동 편집을 하는 시스템 MissCW (Multiuser Interactive System for Synchronous Collaborative Writing)를 설계하고 구현한 내용을 소개한다. 이 시스템의 문서 모델인 DMDA(Distributed Multimedia Document Architecture)는 논리 구조를 가지며 표현 스타일 객체와 표시 객체를 포함 한다. 본 공동 저작 시스템의 동기성은 멀티미디어 회의와 편집 윈도우의 공유 모드로 실현되었다. 이 시스템의 공동 편집기는 분산 객체들을 논리 구조로 조합 하여 하나의 문서로 만들 수 있는 구조 지향적 편집 방식을 제공한다. 미들웨어인 공유 객체 관리자 (SOM;shared Object Manager)는 공유 객체들을 일관성 있게 유지하며 응용 프로그램이 객체들을 효율적으로 이용할 수 있게 도와준다. 이 시스템의 하부 제어 구조는 강력한 서버 없이도 구현이 가능하도록 기본적으로는 복제 구조를 채택하였으나 공유 자료의 일관성유지를 위하여 가상 노드로의 중앙 집중 구조를 혼합 적용하였다. 가상 노드는 공유 객체 관리자의 객체 제어기에 해당하며 공유 객체 테이블(SOT; Shared Object Table)을 다루는 모든 일을 한다.

Utility Interactive Solar Power Conditioner with Zero Voltage Soft Switching High frequency Sinewave Modulated Inverter Link

  • The utility interactive sinewave modulated inverter for the solar photovoltaic (PV) power conversion and conditioning with a new high frequency pulse modulated link is presented for domestic residential applications. As compared with the conventional full-bridge hard switching PWM inverter with a high frequency AC link, the simplest single-ended quasi-resonant soft switching sinewave modulated inverter with a duty cycle pulse control is implemented, resulting in size and weight reduction and low-cost. This paper presents a prototype circuit of the single-ended zero voltage soft switching sinewave inverter for solar power conditioner and its operating principle. In addition, this paper proposes a control system to deliver high quality output current. Major design of each component and the power loss analysis under actual power processing is also discussed from an experimental point of view. A newly developed interactive sinewave power processor which has $92.5\%$ efficiencty at 4kW output is demonstrated. It is designed 540mm-300mm-125mm in size, and 20kg in weight.

  • 오늘날 다양한 앰비언트 또는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경을 제공하기위해 사용자와 디스플레이 사이에서의 인터랙션 시스템이 개발되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 대규모 앰비언트 디스플레이 환경에서 인터랙티브 공간을 제공하기 위해 새로운 형태의 공간 인터랙션 인터페이스 시스템을 제안한다. 즉, 인터랙션 막으로 부터의 거리에 따라 두개의 인터랙션 영역들(인터랙티브 영역과 앰비언트 영역)로 나눈다. 먼저, 인터랙티브 영역에서는 사용자가 인터랙션 막에 가까이 다가갔을때 자유롭게 손 동작만으로 인터랙션을 할 수 있다. 그리고 인터랙티브 공간의 영역을 벋어날 경우 디스플레이는 일반적인 정보만을 보여주게 된다. 따라서 본 시스템은 다양한 인터랙션과 정보를 유비쿼터스 앰비언트 공간상에서 제공한다.

초등학생의 당, 나트륨, 지방 섭취 저감화를 위한 교육용 웹사이트 및 e-learning system 개발 (Development of an Educational Web Site and e-Learning System for Elementary School Students to Reduce Sugar, Natrium and Fat Intakes)

  • This study was carried out to reduce children's sugar, natrium and fat intakes and establish their healthy lifestyle. To achieve these goals, we developed an educational web site and an e-learning system. The targets of this web site are children, parents and educators. This site has various information about sugar, natrium and fat, and has special menus for each target: such as the 'Let's study' for children, 'Guides for child's eating' for parents, and 'Educational softwares, Lesson plans/materials, and Textbooks/Teaching guides' for educators. We developed three nutrient characters and applied them to the web site. We provided information in the form of texts, images, flash and sounds. This site has special boards in 'Nutrition cafe' menu to interchange information or their successful stories between the connecters. We developed an e-learning system with two courses. One is for junior elementary students and the other is for senior students. Children can study each nutrient step by step in a course according to their academic ability and concern. Also, they can evaluate their academic achievement in this system, which was uploaded into 'Let's study' in children menu in the web site. Conclusively this web site and e-learning system could contribute to reducing children's sugar, natrium and fat intakes by helping children study them systematically and effectively by on-line system. We expect this e-learning system would be a new nutrition education system to make nutrition education more active.

USING GIS TO IMPROVE ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION PLANNING

  • The planning process for roadway construction involves a large amount of information on design, construction methods, quantities, unit costs, production rates, and site conditions. Therefore, it is very important to acquire, manage, and process the necessary information efficiently to produce a rigorous construction plan. GIS (Geographic Information System) is a very effective tool for integrating and managing various types of information including spatial and non-spatial data required for roadway construction planning. This paper proposes a GIS-based system for improving roadway construction planning with its 'Interactive Space Scheduling' and 'Operation Level Planning' functions. The proposed system can assist construction planners in a unique way by integrating design and construction information and creating modularized design elements for space scheduling in real time. It is expected that the proposed system could improve the efficiency of roadway construction planning.
