A Study on the Design of Drive for Coreless Linear Synchronous Motor (무철심형 선형 동기전동기의 드라이브 설계에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a controller design for coreless linear synchronous motor is proposed. The designed controller is mainly composed of speed and current control, which are carried out by the high-speed digital signal processor(DSP). In addition the PWM inverter is controlled by space voltage PWM method. This system is implemented using by 32-bit DSP(TMS320C31), a high-integrated logic device(EPM940), and IPM(Intelligent Power Modules) for compact and powerful system design. The experimental results show the effective performance of controller for coreless linear synchronous motor.

  • In this paper, we consider multi-objective synthesis of fuzzy controllers for a widely used special class of the Takagi-Sugeno(TS) fuzzy systems. We propose a new fuzzy controller utilizing the strategy of rescaling and show that synthesis of the proposed controllers satisfying multiple design objectives can be reduced to a simple linear matrix inequality(LMI) problem. Finally, an application to an inverted pendulum on a cart is presented to illustrate the validity of the proposed method.

  • This paper proposes a novel computer human interface, named Virtual Wireless Microphone (VWM), which utilizes computer vision and signal processing. It integrates real-time face tracking and sound signal processing. VWM is intended to be used as a speech signal input method for human computer interaction, especially for autonomous intelligent agent that interacts with humans like as digital secretary. Utilizing VWM, the agent can clearly listen human master's voice remotely as if a wireless microphone was put just in front of the master.

  • ITS(Intelligent Transport System) as things are used for Broadcast service using TDMB/TPEG/NAVI rather than personal seamless service. It is attaching weight to Traffic information gathering, Charging, Settlement service. This research is applied to improve DCCP(Datagram Congestion Control Protocol) which has function as protecting data and preserving message boundary. The improving method is like that we solve data trust in UDP because Connection and Transmission overhead in UDP is less than in TCP. We fix the data loss which is generated from unordered delivery section of IP base wireless service by using DCCP protocol. We guarantee of connection with OBE(On-Board Equipment) and reliance about transmission of data by complement to mapping table and multi-hoping. Finally, We evaluate the performance about transmission of IP based data. We constructed a test-bed near research center for this test.

  • A novel type of intelligent microcapsule reactor system was prepared. The reactor can recognize pH change in the medea and control reaction rate by itself. For the reactor system, acrylic acid (AA), N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM), and glucose oxidase (GOD) were selected as a pH-responsive device, a gating device according and a reaction device, respectively. Poly(NIPAM-co-AA) (P-NIPAM-co-AA) are known to change its hydrophilicity-hydrophobicity due to pH change. They were integrated in a core-shell microcapsule space. GOD was loaded inside the core space and the pores in the outside shell layer were filled with P-NIPAM-co-AA linear grafted chains as pH-responsive gates by plasma graft filling polymerization method. When P-NIPAM-co-AA gates are hydrophilic at high pH value, this microcapsule permits glucose penetration into the core space and GOD reaction proceeds. However, when P-NIPAM-co-AA gates are hydrophobic at low pH value, this microcapsule forbids glucose penetration and GOD reaction will not occur. The accuracy of this concept was examined.

  • This paper is concerned with applicability of two-degree-of-freedom controllers to the recently suggested i-PID controllers, in which unknown parts of the plant are taken into account without any modeling procedure. First, i-PID controller with two-degree-of-freedom is applied to a specific model, called Anisochronic model, to confirm the usefulness of this method. Second, using the original examples of i-PID controllers, it is confirmed that performance/robustness of system are to be improved due to two-degree-of-freedom, especially when the input changes suddenly. It is seen that as the desired robustness increases the optimal value of two-degree-of-freedom parameter ${\alpha}_A$ would be negative. It is checked and verified that if this value was limited to 1 or less as is generally known, performance would be degraded.

  • In this paper, a Mannesmann roll piercing process equipped with Diecher's guiding discs is investigated using a rigid-thermoviscoplastic finite elements method with intelligent remeshing capability and tetrahedral elements. The analysis model is presented and the approach is applied to a Mannesmann roll piercing process found in the literature. Details about the remeshing criterion as well as mesh density control are given. The present predictions are compared with the predictions found in the literature, showing that the two predictions are in close agreement in terms of the deformed shape. However, it is emphasized that the present approach has the distinct strength in predicting details of final shape.

  • Based on the problems of untimely Expressway fire rescue and backward traditional fire rescue methods, an emergency fire fighting and inspection robot riding on expressway guardrail is designed. The overall mechanical structure design of emergency fire fighting and inspection robot riding on expressway guardrail is completed by using three-dimensional design software. The target fire detection is realized by using the target detection algorithm of Yolov5; By selecting a variety of sensors and using the control method of multi algorithm fusion, the basic function of robot on duty early warning is realized, and it has the ability of intelligent fire extinguishing. The BMS battery charging and discharging system is used to detect the real-time power of the robot. The design of the expressway emergency fire fighting and inspection robot provides a new technical means for the development of emergency fire fighting equipment, and improves the reliability and efficiency of expressway emergency fire fighting.

  • Defect detection during liquid crystal display (LCD) manufacturing has always been a critical challenge. This study aims to address this issue by proposing a data augmentation method based on generative adversarial networks (GAN) to improve defect identification accuracy in LCD production. By leveraging synthetically generated image data from GAN, we effectively augment the original dataset to make it more representative and diverse. This data augmentation strategy enhances the model's generalization capability and robustness on real-world data. Compared to traditional data augmentation techniques, the synthetic data from GAN are more realistic, diverse and broadly distributed. Experimental results demonstrate that training models with GAN-generated data combined with the original dataset significantly improves the detection accuracy of critical defects in LCD manufacturing, compared to using the original dataset alone. This study provides an effective data augmentation approach for intelligent quality control in LCD production.
