  • This study developed integration control system that improve efficiency and give flexibility of smoke control system and can improve prevention of disasters performance. The reliable each kind sensor and of integration control system was developed by establishing the specifications, algorithms and constructing engineering data. More correct and reliable control function of optimization can be obtained by the central control from integration control system rather than the existent individual control. This sees to do to impose flexibility to smoke control system. Also, this will provide the basics of integration control system and ability security of smoke control system and can construct smoke control system of performance based.

  • The INS/GPS integration system is designed by employing an adaptive filter that can estimate the measurement noise variance using the residual of the filter. To verify the efficiency of the proposed loosely-coupled INS/GPS integration system, simulation is performed by assuming that GPS information has large position errors. Simulation results show that the proposed integration system with the adaptive filter is more effective in estimating the position and attitude errors than those with the Extended Kalman Filter.

  • The Closed Control System, which uses exclusive network and protocol, have been adopted in TM/TC systems. However, the Closed Control System is known that it is not able to support the integration in the water management automation. There are two methods in integration solution in different types of TM/TC System. One solution is hardware system integration that is very expensive and impractical. The other solution is software system integration that uses OLE for Process Control(OPC). In this study, we recommend OPC solution, for KARICO water management, that is the practical and efficient. KARICO is using OPC technology in MMI(Man machine Interface) and water management program. Through this technology, the real-time status of reservoir, pumping station and canal can be achieved without difficulty.

  • This study defined engineering mechanism and compensation method to establish reference pressure of smoke control zone with atmospheric pressure that is compensated for temperature. The reliable controller of integration smoke control was developed by establishing the specifications, algorithms and constructing engineering data. The development of controller for integration smoke control can cut down number of processes, manufacturing and installation cost by removing pressure measurement pipe established separately for non smoke control zone, and improve the accuracy of pressure differential by embedding pressure measurement ports for non smoke control zone. More correct and reliable pressure differentials can be obtained by the central control from controller of integration smoke control rather than the existent individual control. This will provide the basics and the flexibility to the integral smoke control system and accordingly improve the performance of disaster prevention.

  • The existing building control and automation systems which have been applied to buildings are provided by many different vendors and each vendor has its own proprietary protocol. There are many problems in system integration since those building control and automation systems belong to each vendor. Also, the problems of cost and space increase, due to the usage of personal computers as the control servers of DDC(Direct Digital Control) in each facility. Those problems mentioned above can be effectively resolved by using XML Web Services and Embedded Web Server. Embedded Web Server and XML Web Services are technologies emerging out of the IT industries and there are many researches to apply them into many fields. In this paper, Embedded Web Server and XML Web Services are proposed to be used in building control and automation system to resolve problems in building system integration.

  • According to the Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) system milestone, Site Acceptance Test (SAT) has three steps test until the end of the project. SAT#1 is the first time of SAT steps and verify the KASS Reference Station (KRS) and Sub System (S/S) for the monitoring and controllable. After the equipment and software were installed at the Mission Control Center (MCC) with Central Monitoring and Control Simulator (CMS) for the SAT#1, the 1:1 test was progressed when the KRS and S/S are ready to test. SAT#1 has a 10 steps test case and it was progressed each KRS sites. The test was finished throughout the real-time monitoring and the data collection including the data analysis all of the 7 KRS sites. Finally SAT#1 was completed on December 2020 with successfully.

  • Electric Power Steering (EPS) mechanism has become widely equipped in passenger vehicle due to the increasing environmental concerns and higher fuel efficiency. This paper describes the development of concurrent simulation technique and simulation integration technique of EPS control system with a dynamic vehicle system. A full vehicle model interacting with EPS control algorithm was concurrently simulated on a single bump road condition. The dynamic responses of vehicle chassis and steering system resulting from road surface impact were evaluated and compared with proving ground experimental data. The comparisons show reasonable agreement on tie-rod load, rack displacement, steering wheel torque and tire center acceleration. This concurrent simulation capability was employed fur EPS performance evaluation and calibration as well as for vehicle handling performance integration and synthesis.

  • System Integration is significant role in building, because it is that the more building system is integrated, the more they can save management costs and energy costs. Nowadays system protocols in building use BACnet, LonWorks, etc. to integrate effectively, but their interoperability is not perfect. Therefore, we propose system integration using Ethernet and TCP/IP for perfect harmony. When data network protocol, Ethernet and TCP/IP is used for control network, there are several problems. But there have been solved by many researches. therefore it is possible that building system integrate to use Ethernet and TCP/IP. Finally, we show that Ethernet and TCP/IP can be used for building automation system integration.
