  • This paper proposed that a small type conductor surface open-loop antenna model for the moisture sensor and its operating characteristics were analysed numerically by using the moment methods. The numerical analysis results from this antenna model showed that this antenna could match the input impedance to $50[{\Omega}]$ by changing parameters of the antenna in the frequency range from 300[MHz] to 500[MHz]. This model also showed that the open-loop radius. height and wire width give a tremendous influence on the antenna resonance variation. while the loaded inductance values affects the variation or the input impedance at the resonance frequencies.

  • In this paper, two-stage low noise amplifier(LNA) for 24GHz is designed and fabricated using NE450284C HJ-FET of NEC CO. In order to get noise figure and input VSWR to be wanted, it is considered input VSWR and noise figure simultaneously in matching-circuit designing. The fabricated two-stage low noise amplifier has the gain of 16.6dB, input VSWR of 1.6, and output VSWR under 1.5.

  • This paper presents a new low-cost Built-In Self-Test (BIST) circuit for 50Hz low noise amplifier (LNA). The BIST circuit is designed for system-on-chip (SoC) transceiver environment. The proposed BIST circuit measures the LNA specifications such as input impedance, voltage gaih, noise figure, and input return loss all in a single SoC environment.

  • In this paper, the performance of the timing jitter which has great effects on the echo canceller that can be used for full-duplex digital transmission on two-wire subscriber loops is analyzed. The power spectrum of timing jitter is about 8.9dB lower in the AMI input format than in the Polar-NRZ-L input format. The performance of the echo canceller also has been shown improved by 4dB when the input signal is in the AMI format.

  • In this paper, we proposed automatic searching algorithm of thresholding value using multilevel thresholding for face segmentation from input bust image effectively. The proposed algorithm extracted the thresholding value of brightness that is formed background region, face region and hair region without illumination, background and face size from input image. The statistical projection analysis project the brightness of multilevel thresholding image into horizontal and vertical direction and decide the thresholding value of face. And the algorithm extracted elliptical type block of face from input image in order to reduce the back ground region and hair region efficiently. The proposed algorithm can reduce searching area of feature extraction and processing time for face recognication.

  • Hardware-Software co-simulation of a multiple image encryption technique shall be described in this paper. Our proposed multiple image encryption technique is based on the Latin Square Image Cipher (LSIC). First, a carrier image that is based on the Latin Square is generated by using 256-bits of length key. The XOR operation is applied between an input image and the Latin Square Image to generate an encrypted image. Then, the XOR operation is applied between the encrypted image and the second input image to encrypt the second image. This process is continues until the nth input image is encrypted. We achieved hardware co-simulation of the proposed multiple image encryption technique by using the Xilinx System Generator (XSG). This encryption technique is modeled using Simulink and XSG Block set and synthesized onto Virtex 2 pro FPGA device. We validated our proposed technique by using the hardware software co-simulation method.

  • Elman Discrete Recurrent Neural Networks Model(EDRNNM) was used to be a suitable short-term hydrological forecasting tool yielding a very high degree of flood stage forecasting accuracy at Musung station of Wi-stream one of IHP representative basins in South Korea. A relative new approach method has recurrent feedback nodes and virtual small memory in the structure. EDRNNM was trained by using two algorithms, namely, LMBP and RBP The model parameters, optimal connection weights and biases, were estimated during training procedure. They were applied to evaluate model validation. Sensitivity analysis test was also performed to account for the uncertainty of input nodes information. The sensitivity analysis approach could suggest a reduction of one from five initially chosen input nodes. Because the uncertainty of input nodes information always result in uncertainty in model results, it can help to reduce the uncertainty of EDRNNM application and management in small catchment.

  • CAC, UPC, NPC, cell level QoS and congestion control is required to assign efficiently channels's BW and to prevent networks from congestion. In the CAC algorithm, each user defines characteristics of input traffic when channels are set up and network based on this parameters determines the acception or rejection of the required BW. The CAC control mechanism is classified into the centralized BW allocation mechanism and the distributed BW Allocation mechanism according to the function and position of CAC processor allocating BW. In this paper, in contrast with esisted the distributed BW allocation mechanism which assumes the required BW of input traffic as constant, we assume input traffic & serices as bulk probability distribution in order to analyze performance more precisely.

  • In this paper, a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) full-duplex system is addressed, where both the transmitter and receiver have multiple antennas. Fundamental problems of the MIMO full-duplex technique are discussed, and possible solutions are presented. In particular, the transceiver designs that have been reported in the literature are technically reviewed, and their problems are discussed investigating the feasibility of the full-duplex technique in commercialized systems such as LTE and WiFi.

  • The computational complexity for the zero-forcing (ZF)-based multiuser (MU) multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) preprocessing matrices can be immoderately large as the number of transmit antennas or users increases. In this paper, we show that the span of singular vector space of a matrix can be obtained from the singular vectors of the parted rows of that matrix with computational saving and propose a computationally efficient recursive-algorithm for achieving the ZF-based preprocessing matrices. Analysis about the complexities shows that a new recursive-algorithm can lighten the computational load.
