Experiencing work as a calling has been associated with various positive work-related attitudes and outcomes. Recent studies have examined personal and contextual factors related to job calling; however, gaps remain in the literature on how employees' perception of organizational environment may lead to the formation of employees' job calling. We focused on psychological climate of innovation as the predictor of employees' job calling and further investigated its effect on extra-role behaviors, including innovative work behavior (IWB) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). A total of 165 Malaysian employees from diverse industries and organizations participated in a self-reported online questionnaire. We found support for the mediation model in which the association between a psychological climate of innovation and increased extra-role behaviors through increased job calling. Altogether, these findings provided new insights into the important role of innovative climate on employees' job calling and the mediating role of job calling on extra-role behaviors within occupational settings. Theoretical and practical implications are further discussed.

This study aims to analyze the correlation between semiconductor innovation and market dominance in the mobility electric vehicle industry. To this end, the study presentsstrategiesthat provide low-price competitiveness along with high-value creation in the electric vehicle and semiconductor markets. The first change in the era of high interest rates is to overcome the crisis of survival for value. Furthermore, the study acknowledges the ongoing second wave of change as the digital technology's value continues to rise, and companies experience decreased productivity due to rising ESG labor costs. The study analyzed price competitiveness in the context of the increased adoption of electric vehicles and the integration of semiconductor prices, proving that Tesla and Samsung Semiconductor have developed technology to dominate the market, with appropriate low-cost strategies applied as the value of innovation declines.

This paper calls attention to the central problem of the influence of identifying the determinants of airport duty-free store customers perceived innovativeness, pursuit benefits and value-congruency on the behavioral intention. The data is completed with 307 adults with purchasing experience of airport duty-free store O2O integration service which brings sufficient convenience to consumers. The content analysis results show that the influence factors of innovation characteristics, consumer pursuit benefits and value-congruency affect the behavioral intention in various aspects. The result suggests that we should upgrade the innovate functionality and improve the service quality based on consumer needs. Finally, this study discusses implications for theory and practice, indicates limitations, and concludes with some suggestions for future research.
Purposes: The purpose of this study is to analyze nurses' perception on the clinical career ladder system which was introduced to enhance the nursing capabilities in general hospital. Methods: Research data has been collected for approximately 30 days since March 28, 2017 from 171 nurses who had been involved in the clinical career ladder system, 177 nurses who had not participated, and a total of 348. Finding: The study results showed that nurses' perception on the cost effectiveness of clinical career ladder system is significantly different depending on the sex, age, program experience, personal stage in the clinical career ladder system and the individual's health condition. In addition, the nurses' willingness to pay for the clinical career ladder system was significantly associated with their department and the needs for the system. With adjusted age, gender, position, education and marital status, nursing competency was 8.71(95% Confidence Interval; 4.79 to 12.63) in the presence of system experience, but the perception on clinical career ladder system was 4.34(95% Confidence Interval; -6.84 to -1.84). Practical Implications: Based on the study results, we expect that more hospitals introduce the clinical career ladder system and also use these study results as basic data for securing excellent nurses.
In addition to technical skills and competencies, communication competence has been identified to be important to engineering students who will be drivers of innovation in a rapidly changing society. Drawing on the previous studies, this research examines the results of an empirical exploration of engineering students' perception of speaking ability and their communicative competence. To date, there has been most of the research conducted on 'writing' (e.g., its educational process, class designs, ability, etc.) for engineering students. However, relatively little attention has been paid to engineering students' speaking ability perception and their competence diagnosis. This study relies on quantitative data obtained from one survey questionnaire and one test conducted respectively. The sample consists of 386 engineering students as well as 481 non-engineering students for the 1st survey. And to measure communicative competence, 150 engineering students as well as 136 non-engineering students participated in the test. Our findings show that firstly, there were significant differences in perception of speaking ability by majors and gender. Whereas there was no difference in the same survey by grade. Secondly, there was a close and significant relationship between sub-factors of speaking ability. Thirdly, there were significant differences in communicative competence by majors. Whereas there was no difference by gender and grade. Fourthly, there was a close and significant relationship between sub-factors of communicative competence. These findings are expected to provide an explanation for the improvement on engineering students' speaking ability and to encourage the participation in extra-curricular activities and programs in engineering school.
Purpose - The purpose of this study was to explore the impact of chatbots' innovation attributes on the innovation acceptance for consumers who have used chatbots to purchase fashion products that account for a large share of transactions in mobile shopping. Research design, data, and methodology - Data were collected from Korean consumers aged 20 to 49 who had experience using chatbots when purchasing fashion-related products via mobile circumstances. After a pilot survey of 31 customers, pre-questionnaire was revised for the final test, and the final questionnaire was distributed to 1,500 subjects. Out of these, 244 were retrieved. After excluding 48 inappropriate responses, 196 were used for statistical analysis. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, regression analysis and independent t-test using SPSS 23.0 were employed for data analyses. Results - First, four factors of chatbots' attributes were extracted: relative advantages and compatibility, complexity, sensibility, and diversity. Second, two factors were extracted for fashion leadership: fashion opinion leadership and fashion innovativeness. Two groups based on the fashion leadership were identified: active innovation adopters and passive innovation adopters. Third, relative advantages and compatibility, diversity, sensibility of innovation attributes were found to have effects on the innovation acceptance in order. Fourth, significant differences were found in sensibility of innovation attributes and innovation acceptance in groups by marital status and age. The married in their 30s and 40s perceived sensibility as a more important attribute of chatbots than the unmarried in their twenties. Among the groups of different income levels, meaningful differences were found in diversity of innovation attributes and innovation acceptance. Fifth, there were significant differences found in relative advantages and compatibility, sensibility of innovation attributes, and acceptance of Innovation among the groups by fashion leadership. Active innovation adopters were found to be more aware of the importance of relative advantages and compatibility, and sensibility of innovation attributes, and innovation acceptance. Conclusions - The present study provides chatbots' marketing strategies for fashion items need to be modified by demographic characteristics and fashion leadership. Particularly, fashion leadership was found to be an important factor in determining the perception of innovation attribute as well as innovation acceptance.

This study was to research and analyze the concept of school space innovation to aim at the importance of user educational value. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of students, teachers, or consumers connected with the educational autonomous innovative curriculum and various school-government educational activities and suggest the ways to link school space innovation to the best possible reflection for demander-centered or the demander needs To this end, the basic concepts of the autonomous education and school space innovation were reviewed, and the literature survey on the revised education curriculum in 2015 and educational autonomous innovation curriculum at the national level, educational goals and basic value-added awareness of the curriculum. The purpose was to research the perception of students and teachers through the survey and analysis of basic values of education, the functions of school education, the direction of school environment and space spatial composition, and school space.
As the next generation of smartphone and tablet computers, wearable devices are currently being developed and available in market in various forms. Smart clothing is a wearable device that holds the greatest potential for future development but low in market penetration. This study was designed to identify factors that influence adoption and diffusion of smart clothing. In-depth interviews with potential consumers who were knowledgeable about and interested in smart clothing were conducted. A semantic network analysis method was used. The results showed that consumers perceived smart clothing as a garment rather than as a type of wearable device and had a positive perception of smart apparel as more convenient and advanced than functional apparel. At the same time, however, consumers had a negative perception of smart clothing as unnecessary, ugly, and injurious to health. Consumers also worried that wearing smart apparel over long periods of time would negatively impact their health. Factors affecting resistance to smart apparel included low utility, perceived risk, and lack of aesthetic completeness. Usefulness and convenience were factors that affected the acceptance of smart clothing. The innovativeness of the product was more influential than consumer innovativeness in the process of adoption and diffusion of smart clothing.
The study was conducted to develop an implementation model for digital transformation (DX) of manufacturing companies. To this end, previous studies on the process of management innovation and digital transformation were reviewed. The DX process model was derived based on the NEBIC theory and innovation theory applied in the innovation process of the Internet business. In addition, a research model including the factors of the will of the top management class (TMT) was constructed and confirmed through empirical data. The research hypothesis were verified based on data collected from members of mid-sized manufacturing companies promoting digital transformation. Through regression analysis, the influence relationship of each stage of the research model (technical knowledge, TK → opportunity perception, OR → performace expectation, PE and → Intention to execute, IE) was confirmed. Hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to understand the mediating effect of the members' perception of the top management's willingness to promote DX in the process. As a result of checking the Sobel test, it was confirmed that the management's perception of DX promotion partially mediated the relationship at each stage. This study is meaningful in that it presented a model applicable to the digital transformation of the mid-sized manufacturing industry. It is also valuable in providing an empirical basis for innovative research and NEBIC expansion. Longitudinal studies are required to overcome the limitations of empirical data for process models with dynamic characteristics whereas extended empirical studies are required in various fields other than manufacturing to generalize research results.
This paper is concerned with figuring out a scheme to facilitate UML utilization through examining the factors which affect the intention to use UML. For this, we conducted a survey of those factors among software engineers in IT service companies. In order to examine the factors affecting the intention to use UML, we developed a model by combining the Technology Acceptance Model and the Innovation Attributes Theory, which have been proved to explain well about the acceptance of new technologies and services. Statistical analysis shows that the subjective norm which is one of social factors has significant influence on the career consequences, and also on the compatibility when the result of UML utilization is demonstrable. The career consequences, the compatibility and the ease of use are found to have significant influence on the usefulness perception of UML utilization, implying that the recognition that one's future career can be affected in the long term by UML utilization is important in shaping how one perceives the usefulness along with the compatibility with one's current task type and the ease of use. The usefulness and the compatibility are evaluated to be the factors that have significant influences on the intention to use UML.
