Korea has the tenth largest film industry in the world; however, detailed analyses using the factors contributing to successful film commercialization have not been approached. Using big data, this paper analyzed both internal and external factors (including genre, release date, rating, and number of screenings) that contributed to the commercial success of Korea's top 10 ranking films in 2011-2015. The authors developed a WebCrawler to collect text data about each movie, implemented a Hadoop system for data storage, and classified the data using Map Reduce method. The results showed that the characteristic of "release date," followed closely by "rating" and "genre" were the most influential factors of success in the Korean film industry. The analysis in this study is considered groundwork for the development of software that can predict box-office performance.

Stock enhancement is considered to be a valuable approach for restoring fishery resources. Because no specific official institution in Taiwan is responsible for the production of fry, the released fry are purchased directly from the private sector. However, fishermen from the private industry have not established a genetic background, so the genetic composition for each batch of released fry is unclear. Mangrove red snapper (Lutjanus argentimaculatus), a prominent species released in Taiwan, was collected after its official release. One hundred and two field samples were compared with four batches of hatchery fry (n = 685) by using a microsatellite-based multiplex PCR assay. Four of the field samples (3.9%; 4/102) were revealed to be from a fish farm and most likely from a single batch. This study revealed that wild mangrove red snappers are genetically different from those originating from farms, and their origins can be traced through molecular markers, even without information on breeding stocks.

TETRA Enhanced Data Service (TEDS), which is an upgrade version of narrow-band ETSI TETRA Release 1 system, can support high speed packet data services in frequency selected fading channel. The performance of M-QAM transceivers employed in the TEDS is significantly affected by the accuracy of channel estimation. In this paper, we consider the design of a decision-directed channel estimation scheme robust to fast fading by estimating the channel by means of a per-survivor processing (PSP) method. The performance of the proposed channel estimation scheme is verified by computer simulation.

This study was conducted by utilizing simulation (FDS6) the fire characteristics of the flammable substances such as cable compartment of a small space in the EPS room type. In the partitioned space of a room EPS supply of oxygen does not facilitate the combustion of the upward-sloping curve, as in a standard fire curve is not observed. Simulation results in a situation where ventilation is limited to the heat release rate and smoke emission characteristics of the fire showed a complex and unstable form a repeating rise and fall. Fire time was longer than the fire load. Change in the smoke emission than the heat release rate is slow, but changes of the overall surface was found to exhibit affinity.

Recently, Internet solution market is focused on competition in Electronic Commerce (EC) rather than necessity and effectiveness of EC. In this paper, we propose a policy-oriented matching agent system that makes EC market active. We can pursue diverse promotion since policies are objects, and we can formulate, carry out, pursue, and evaluated a policy consistently on the proposed solution since our solution is integrated into merits of rule-based system and operation space (release post). There are three important points of the implementation. It is component-based structure that fits to be a basic platform for EC. It is connected with other system easily, so it can help marketing. Due to the advancement of mobile wireless networks, various LBS's (Location Based Service) with the knowledge of mobile station's current position are emerging. Providing LBS is very essential feature in Mobile WiMAX networks such as WiBro networks for their competitiveness. To this end, WiMAX Forum has established recently the network architecture and protocols for providing LBS and they are included in the Network working group's release 1.5 documents. Though there have been many research efforts on location determination in Wibro networks, none of them addresses the location determination mechanism complying to Forum's recent LBS standards. This paper proposes an enhanced TDOA-RTD combined location determination mechanism, which complies to the Forum's LBS architecture.

최근에는 고성능 네트웍으로 구성된 클러스터 상에서 사용자 수준 통신을 사용하는 소프트웨어 분산 공유메모리 시스템의 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자수준 프로토콜의 표준인 Virtual Interface Architecture(VIA)를 사용하고 확장성 있는 Home-based Lazy release Consistency(HLRC) 모델을 기반으로 하는 소프트웨어 분산공유메모리 시스템을 구현한다. 본 시스템은 VIA의 원격 메모리 쓰기 기능을 최대한 활용하며, 통신 과정에서 통신 버퍼와 사용자 메모리 사이의 복사가 일어나지 않도록 설계되어 높은 성능을 보인다.

제 3세대 이동통신 시스템인 UMTS/GPRS는 현재 IPv4를 기반으로 MS(Mobile Station)에게 패킷 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 그러나 3GPP의 Release 2000 IM CN(IP Multimedia Core Network) 서브 시스템에서는 멀티미디어 서비스 지원을 위해 인터넷에 연결되어 있는 모든 MS에게 IP를 할당할 수 있도록 IPv6 지원을 필수로 정의하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 UMTS/GPRS에서 IPv4 패킷 서비브 뿐만 아니라 IPv6 패킷 서비스를 지원할 수 있도록 UMTS/GPRS에 다양한 IPv6 변환 메커니즘(dual-stack, funneling, transition)을 적용하여 비교한 후 적합한 UMTS/GPRS 네트워크 모델을 제안한다.

Mobile number portability(MNP) means currently number portability among the 2G cellular phone in Korea and subscriber can change his mobile phone system operator without change his phone number. MNP system use QoR(Query on Release) method in call processing. We shows that the realization and performance of MNP system and the problems that is related with MNP system.

통신 오버헤드 및 거짓 공유(false sharing)등의 문제를 해결하기 위하여 소프트웨어 분산공유메모리 시스템을 위한 다양한 메모리 모델등이 제안되었다. HLRC(Home based Lazy Release)[1]는 Keleher에 의해 제안된 LRC[2] 모델에 home 개념을 도입한 모델로서 최근의 소프트웨어 분산공유 메모리 시스템에서 널리 채용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 HLRC 모델을 기반으로 한 메모리 일관성 프로토콜의 설계, 구현, 그리고 성능 측정 결과에 관하여 기술한다.
