Government uses the Internet technology to create electronic Government(e-Government). E-Government is an on-going project, and it represents a strong intention of Korean government to make effective and smooth communication between Korean government and its people. To achieve this purpose, government portal sites is one of projects of e-government, being a common gateway for users to find information and to communicate with the government concerning many matters/any matter. However, user's attitudes and behaviors explaining why they intend to use government portal sites is a scant. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to investigate empirically the determinants influencing users' intention to use government portal-sites. Starting with DeLone & McLean's Updated Information Success Model(2003), this study suggests three qualities(Information Quality, Systems Quality, and Service Quality) and two moderating effects(Ambiguity and Government Supports), which affect the perceived usefulness of government portal sites. Results show that the hypotheses were supported. The findings of the study suggest not only a new theoretical model for IS research, but also the important indicators of a successful usage of e-Government portal sites.

본 연구의 목적은 포털의 언론으로서의 역할에 대한 논란을 정리해보고 포털 이용자들이 언론으로서 포털의 역할과 기능에 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 살펴보는 것이다. 아울러 이 연구는 포털 이용자들의 뉴스이용패턴과 뉴스 댓글에 관한 인식을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 주 1회 이상 포털사이트를 이용하고 있는 15세부터 45세 사이의 이용자 1,036명 을 대상으로 온라인설문조사를 실시했다. 그 결과 대부분의 포털이용자들(70.8%)은 포털이 다른 언론사처럼 언론의 역할을 한다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 10명 가운데 6명 가량은 포털 뉴스가 사회의 주요 이슈를 제기한다는 데 동의하고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 포털 이용자들이 언론으로서의 포털의 사회적 영향력과 책임을 중요하게 생각하고 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 하지만 40% 가량의 응답자들이 뉴스 댓글로 제시된 정보를 신뢰하지 않는다고 답했고, 댓글은 대부분 아르바이트생들이 쓰는 것으로 여겼다. 또한 10명 중 6명 가량은 댓글이 의도적으로 작성되고 있다고 응답했다. 따라서 포털 뉴스의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해서는 뉴스 댓글에 대한 품질 관리가 어느 정도 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 포털을 자주 이용하는 사람일수록 포털이 편리하고 사회적 영향력이 크다고 생각함과 동시에 선정적이고 상업적인 면도 있다고 생각했다. 반면, 인터넷 이용을 많이 할수록 포털이 신속하고 편리하며 사회적 영향력이 크다고 생각하는 경향이 나타났다. 하지만 가구소득은 포털의 뉴스역할인식과 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다.

인터넷 항해의 관문으로 검색포털의 의존도가 더욱 높아지고 있으며, 이러한 현상은 학술연구정보 시장에서도 두드러지게 나타나고 있다. 공공지식정보의 대국민 접점으로 민간검색포털을 이용하는 시도가 지속적으로 나타나고 있으며, 그에 따라 많은 지식정보 생산 유통기관이 검색포털과 개방적 협력관계를 유지하고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 도서관 서비스의 검색포털 연계 서비스도 긍정적으로 검토해 볼 필요가 있으며, 특히 아직까지 대학의 사적 시설로 인식되고 있는 대학도서관 서비스의 연계방안을 모색하여, 지역사회와 연계된 공공시설로 활성화시킬 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 그러한 관점에서 검색포털과 대학도서관 소장목록의 연계방안을 모색한다. 이미 활성화되어 있는 해외 사례와 국내 검색포털 서비스의 현황을 종합적으로 분석하여 국내 상황에 적합한 검색포털과 대학 도서관 소장목록의 연계방안을 마련한다.

Stroke, also called an attack on the brain, is a complex disease that results from the interaction of many genetic and environmental factors. StrokePortal is a comprehensive resource for information on stroke that integrates and provides essential findings regarding stroke pathology, diagnostics, and treatments, based on Oriental and Western medicine. The stroke information was collected from various sources, such as journal articles, books, websites, and news stories, and it was refined, classified, and stored into a relational database system by automatic classification and manual curation. To provide the stored information effectively to users, a specialized retrieval system, based on web interfaces, was implemented. StrokePortal provides cutting-edge information to experts; interested people, including patients and their families; and investigators to broaden their knowledge of effective treatments for patients and offer many preventive measures. It provides a specialized feature with which users can upload their information and opinions to StrokePortal, which will enrich and mature the content even further. This research paper delved into the availability and utilization of library portal services for research in university libraries in Nigeria. Two research questions and two null hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection. The study was carried out in Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) and Felix Aghagbo Nwako Library, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Library (UNIZIK), Awka. A total of 70 professionals (librarians and system analysts) in these libraries supplied data for the study. Data collected was analyzed using mean and standard deviation. These were used to answer the research questions while the null hypotheses were tested using t-test statistic at 0.05 level of significance and 68 degree of freedom. Major findings showed that portal services available in the library showed that the areas of availability of library portal services in Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, U.N.N. includes Agriculture, Health Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences and information about institution, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Natural Sciences. In Festus Aghagbo Nwako Library, Awka, the areas of Portal Library Services include Career Development, Federal Government Programs, Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Engineering, and Health Sciences. Findings on extent of utilization of portal services available in the libraries indicated that portal services are utilized to a low extent in the university libraries. Furthermore, librarians did not significantly differ in their opinions on the availability of library portal services and on the extent of utilization of library portal services in the libraries under study. It is therefore recommended that provisions should be made by the universities and library management to provide and update required portal services in addition to creating enabling environment for enhanced access and utilization of these services. The governments must make an effort to provide funds for policy implementation, necessary technology training for librarians and users, and develop general information infrastructure.

본 논문에서는 건설사업 프로세스의 통합 정보화를 위한 포털시스템을 제안하고, 이 시스템의 개발 및 운영에 대해 기술한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 포털시스템은 정책 결정이나 실질적인 업무를 담당하고 있는 기관사용자를 대상으로 한 기관포털시스템과 관련업체 및 일반 사용자를 대상으로 한 대민포털시스템으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 포털시스템의 개발 방법론으로 관리기법(Method/1)을 본 논문에 맞게 커스터마이징하여 사용하였으며, 자바 기반의 웹 어플리케이션 프레임워크를 적용하여 시스템을 개발했다. 포털시스템 개발 후에는 단계별 테스트를 실시하여 시스템의 품질을 향상시켰으며, 시스템의 안정적인 운영과 신속한 유지보수를 위해 Help-desk를 운영하고 사용자 및 운영자 교육을 실시하였다. 향후에는 외부 연계 기능 및 추가적으로 요구되는 컨텐츠를 개발할 계획이다.

이 연구는 디지털도서관의 통합포털에서 제공되는 서비스의 모형을 개발하는 목적으로 수행하였다. 모형개발을 위해 먼저 도서관 포털에 대한 이론적인 접근을 시도하였다. 그런 다음 5 가지의 주요 사례를 선정하여 포털의 주요한 특성을 구분하고, 도서관 포털이 갖추어야할 기본요건을 정의하였다. 마지막으로 현재 운영을 준비하고 있는 국립디지털도서관을 기반으로 국내 환경에 적합한 포털 서비스의 모형을 정의하고, 기본이 되는 검색과 참여 서비스의 구성요소를 제안하게 된다.

공간정보 포탈은 지리데이터와 정보에 대한 커뮤니케이션과 공유를 용이하게 해주는 발견창구(discovery gateway) 라고 할 수 있다. 대개 공간정보 포탈은 운영주체 목적 등에 따라 서로 다른 기능 서비스를 제공한다. 미국 아시아국가 유럽 등 해외 공간정보 포탈 동향 조사를 통해 공공데이터와 공간정보 데이터 플랫폼의 통합, API 기능 제공, 공유형 클라우드 인프라 중심으로 공간정보 포탈이 구축되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 궁극적으로, 본 연구는 국내외 공간정보 포탈의 동향분석 결과를 제시하여 공간정보 오픈플랫폼(브이월드)의 미래발전에 기여하고자 한다.

본고의 목적은 이용자 인식도 조사를 통해 공공포털과 민간포털의 정보서비스를 평가할 수 있는 프레임웍을 개발하는 것이다. 평가 프레임웍을 구체적으로 개발하기 위하여 공공포털로는 yesKISTI와 민간포털로는 Google을 선정하였다. 선행연구들을 토대로 공공포털과 민간포털의 정보서비스를 평가할 수 있는 지표를 개발하고, 공공포털의 신규 서비스를 제공하기 위한 프레임웍을 개발하였다.

A wind tunnel simulation requires high-performance computing power like supercomputers and deep knowledge of this subject. Those requirements make win tunnel simulation difficult. Grid technology will make these difficulties simpler by providing easy to use grid web portal. By using grid web portal, scientist can execute simulation and access to high-performance computing power without any serious difficulties. In this paper will present a grid web portal for a wind tunnel simulation that is used in Aerospace area.
