교육격차와 정보활용능력의 상관관계 연구 - 『도서관과 정보생활』교과의 I·II 영역을 중심으로 - (A Correlation between the Education Gap and Information Literacy)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 학생이 가진 경제적 여건의 차이, 즉 교육격차에 따른 기초적 정보활용능력의 상관관계를 분석하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 학교별 정보활용교육 경험의 차를 통제할 수 있는 고등학교 1학년 629명을 대상으로 3월에 정보활용능력에 대한 자기 평가를 실시하였다. 더불어 학교 정보공시에 제시되는 학교별 고교 학비 지원 학생 비율로 학생들의 경제적 여건에 따른 학교별 교육격차를 확인하였다. 그리고 교육격차와 정보활용능력 간 상관관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 학교별 고교 학비 지원 학생 비율로 설명할 수 있는 교육격차와 정보활용능력 간에 통계적으로 유의미한 음의 상관관계를 강하게 갖는 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 교육격차가 정보활용능력에 미치는 영향 관계를 분석하기 위해 "도서관과 정보생활" 교과의 I II 영역별 회귀분석을 실시하고 교육격차에 따른 정보활용능력 점수의 회귀방정식을 도출했다. 이러한 연구 결과는 정보활용능력 격차를 완화시켜 갈 학교도서관의 교육적 역할을 강조하는 근거로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 체계적 정보활용교육의 제도화를 통해 이상적인 수준의 정보활용능력과 자기주도적 학습력 함양으로 교육격차를 보다 직접적이고 효율적으로 해소하는 발판이 될 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.

샘플치 퍼지 제어기 설계를 이용한 비선형 뉴트럴 시스템 제어기 설계 (Sampled-data Fuzzy Control for Nonlinear Neutral Systems)

  • This paper presents the stability analysis and design for a sampled-data fuzzy control system with neutral type of time delay. The sampling activity and neutral type of time delay will complicate the nonlinear system dynamics. And it make the stability analysis much more difficult than that for a continuous-time fuzzy control system. Based on the fuzzy control approach, linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based stability conditions are derived to guarantee the neutral T-S fuzzy system stability. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Robust $H_{\infty}$ Control of Uncertain Descriptor Systems With Time-Varying Delays

  • This paper is concerned with H$_{\infty}$ controller design methods for descriptor systems with and without time-varying delays in state and control input. The sufficient condition for the existence of an H$_{\infty}$ controller and the controller design method are presented by linear matrix inequality (LMI), singular value decomposition, Schur complements, and changes of variables. Since the obtained sufficient condition can be changed to an LMI form by proper manipulations, all solutions including controller gain can be obtained at the same time. Moreover, it is shown that robust H$_{\infty}$ controller design problem for parameter uncertain descriptor systems with time-varying delays in state and control input can be solvable using the proposed method.

  • This paper proposes a novel and efficient intelligent digital redesign technique for a Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy system. The term of intelligent digital redesign involves converting an existing analog fuzzy-model-based controller into an equivalent digital counterpart in the sense of state matching. In this paper, we suggest the discretization method based on the dual-rate sampling approximation is first proposed, and then attempt to globally match the states of the overall closed-loop TS fuzzy system with the pre-designed analog fuzzy-model-based controller and those with the digitally redesigned fuzzy-model-based controller. To show the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed method, a computer simulation is provided.

  • This paper develops a stability analysis and controller synthesis methodology for a continuous-time affine Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with parametric uncertainties. Affine T-S fuzzy system can be an advantage because it may be able to approximate nonlinear functions to high accuracy with fewer rules than the homogeneous T-S fuzzy systems with linear consequents only. The analysis is based on Lyapunov functions that are continuous and piecewise quadratic. The search for a piecewise quadratic Lyapunov function can be represented in terms of bilinear matrix inequalities (BMIs). A simulation example is given to illustrate the application of the proposed method.

  • This paper considers a state set estimation (SSE) based model predictive control (MPC) for linear parameter- varying (LPV) systems with input constraint. We estimate, at each time instant, a feasible set of all states which are consistent with system model, measurements and a priori information, rather than the state itself. By combining a state-feedback MPC and an SSE, we design an SSE-based MPC algorithm that stabilizes the closed-loop system. The proposed algorithm is solved by semi-de�nite program involving linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is included to illustrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.

  • An active phased array antenna consists of many channels. Each channel has a different initial phase shift and gain because of the inequality in the active circuits themselves, interface between radiators and active circuits, and beam-forming circuits and other antenna system configurations. This raises an inherent problem in active phased array antennas. To compensate for this problem the initial phase and gain of each channel should be calibrated. This paper presents an efficient calibration method for an initial phase variation of each channel in active phased array antennas. We tested our method in an active phased array antenna, and obtained good results in the radiation pattern and beam direction of antenna.

  • In this paper, we propose a non-fragile guaranteed cost controller design method for uncertain linear systems with constant delyas in state. The norm bounded and time-varying uncertainties are subjected to system and controller design matrices. A quadratic cost function is considered as the performance measure for the system. Based on the Lyapunov method, an LMI(Linear Matrix Inequality) optimization problem is established to design the controller which uses information of delayed state and minimizes the upper bound of the quadratic cost function for all admissible system uncertainties and controller gain variations. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In ubiquitous computing, shared environments are required to adapt to people intelligently. Based on information about user preferences, the shared environments should be adjusted so that all users in a group are satisfied as possible. Although many group recommender systems have been proposed to obtain this purpose, they only consider average and misery. However, a broad range of philosophical approaches suggest that high inequality reduces social agreeability, and consequently causes users' dissatisfactions. In this paper, we propose social welfare functions, which consider inequalities in users' preferences, as alternative aggregation functions to achieve a social agreeability. Using an example in a previous work[7], we demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed welfare functions as socially agreeable aggregate functions in group recommender systems.

  • This paper deals with the consensus problem for multi-agent linear dynamic systems with directed communication topology. All the agents are identical high-order linear systems and their state information is exchanged through a communication network with directed graph. It is shown that a consensus is achieved if there exists a feasible solution to a set of linear matrix inequalities obtained for a simultaneous stabilization problem for multiple systems. Examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
