수용성 UV경화성 수지를 이용한 고품질 PDP용 격벽제작 기술 개발 (Development of High-definition PDP(Plasma Display Panel) Barrier Ribs Using Watersoluble UV-curing Resin)

  • Barrier ribs for PDP(plasma display panel) are commonly utilized to have uniform height and width and to prevent opical crosstalk between adjacent cells. The requirements for such barrier ribs are uniform height and shape, low outgassing rate and low porosity, high aspect ratio, and fine resolution. In this study, we are studied about that to make efficiency of material and high quality barrier ribs for PDP. As a result, could got high barrier ribs of $140{\mu}m$ evenly in 1th phenomenon using watersoluble UV curing resin and know that flatness of upper part is also very good.

국산 신문 용지의 인쇄 압력에 따른 잉크 침투 깊이에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Depth of Ink Penetration according to the Printing Pressure in Domestic Newsprint Paper)

  • Measuring ink penetration is one of the best ways to know paper printability. Ink penetration was effected by physical properties of newsprint paper. This study was carried out for the purpose of improvement printability with ink penetration of domestic newsprint paper. The samples were prepared by means of 20 newsprint paper manufacture company in Korea, and were tested by IGT printability tester. The results of this experiments showed that the depth of ink penetration according to the printing pressure. The maximum points in ink transfer curve and the coefficients of oil absorption of the papers also depend mainly upon the situation of anchor points.

  • This paper describes an improved design of graphic memory for QVGA ($320{\times}240\;RGB$) - scale 262k-color LCD Driver IC. A distributor block is adopted to reduce graphic RAM area, which is accomplished with 1/8 data lines of the previous structure. In line-read operation, the drivabilty of memory array cell is improved by partitioning a word line according to the row address. The proposed graphic memory circuit has been designed in transistor level using $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS technology library and verified using Hsim.

  • The emulsification of lithographic printing inks are very important to determine printing quality. In this study, we measured the variation of water pickup according to the hardness of water in dampening solution. In order to observe the rheorogical properties of the emulsified inks, we measured the viscosity, the elastic return, the thixotropy area and yield stress value of the emulsified inks. In this paper, we found that the water pickup of the ink increase the hardness of water with the amount of dampening solution. Also, The viscosity, the yield stress value and the thixotropy area were increase by the water pickup of the ink.

소리내어 책읽기에서 나타나는 실수를 통한 유아의 읽기전략 분석 (The Analysis of Reading Strategies from Errors of Children's Oral Reading Action)

  • This study analized the strategies in beginning readers by age and reading ability. Sixty 4-and 5-year old subjects took a reading test based on Bsatjes & Brown(1997) and Park, et a1.(1989). They read contextual and non-contextual storybooks. Errors in oral reading were recorded as mispronunciations, substitutions, omissions, insertions, teacher-assistance and self-corrections. Mispronunciations and substitutions were Specifically evaluated for graphic and contextual reading strategies. Data were analyzed by percentage and mean. Results revealed that children made more mispronunciation errors in reading the non-contextual story book. They used graphic information more than contextual information. Fine-year olds and high-level readers developed the use of graphic and contextual cues simultaneously.

인장법에 의한 고점도 잉크의 표면장력 측정법 (The Elongation Method for the Measuring Surface Tension of High Viscosity Printing Ink)

  • We have reviewed the method for surface tension of printing inks. Most of the methods fir for the low viscosity inks and solvents for inks. However, the inks for the offset lithography and intaglio should have high viscosity and high tack. The elongation of the ink filaments has more effect on the measuring surface tension than the energy of the surface molecules. In this paper, we propose the elongation method to estimate the surface tension of high viscosity printing inks. Even though we could measure the surface tension for low viscosity inks such as gravure and screen, elongation method could more useful to estimate the surface tension of lithography and intaglio inks than any other methods.

디스플레이 특성화과정에서 감마변화를 이용한 컬러이미지 재현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Reproduction of Color Image using Gamma Variation on Display Colorimetric Characterization)

  • The propose of this study investigated the reproduction of color image on a CRT monitor, for a range of different values of monitor gamma. We have used the GOG(gain-offset-gamma) model of the behavior of CRT. Color difference have been computed in a color space, based on the CIELAB color appearance model. The 133 patch defined linearly color sample and 24 patch defined printing color target were used, and were subjected to the influence of nine different gamma value. The result shows that netural color is increasing the decrease range of luminance black color than white color. These results concern correct in the context display of color reproduction.

  • Recently as color image processing to be become independent have been desired at the light source in an image processing and it have been enlarged. An image processing of the light source which is become independent means an image processing which uses a spectral reflectance information. We improved it in the spectral reflectance estimation method which uses existing 3-band image in this research that the improvement of an identity color population generation method which uses the hue angle and the processing speed improvement and introduces a labelling method. The precision of a spectral reflectance estimation appeared to the ${\Delta}E^*_{ab}$ of an average 2.7 comparing with the measurement price. The practical use possibility came to be fast and appeared a processing speed compared with existing method.

  • The rheological properties of emulsified ink must be maintained adequately at various shear rates or shear stress. So it is necessary to understand its rheological properties in order to regulate the printability of eumulsified ink on the performance. In this study, the rheological properities and printability of emulsified ink are investigated according to the molecular weights of rosin-modified phenolic resin.

LCD 면광원용 저온 소성 Paste 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Low Temperature Calcined Paste for LCD Flat Light Source)

  • BLU is a important part of the most representative LCD at flat panel display. In order to supplement the optical special quality which LCD cannot light itself, BLU is an essential property to supply with same brightness on the screen. In this study we have manufactured and characterized the low temperature calcined paste that can be used as a flat light source for LCD BLU. For the phosphor paste and intermediate paste, the low temperature calcined acryl resin was used as the binder. From the result of thermal decomposition measurement, residual carbonaceous materials was found to be less than 0.2wt% at $400^{\circ}C$.
