This study empirically verified the effect of enterprise SNS usage on communication and work performance and the effect of communication on work performance for corporate employees. To accomplish the purpose of this study, we proposed a research model, set up research hypotheses, and verified the hypotheses based on previous studies. For this study, we surveyed the employees of manufacturing companies located at Ulsan city. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the use of enterprise SNS has a significant effect on communication. Second, communication has a significant effect on work performance. Third, the use of enterprise SNS has a significant effect on work performance. Through the results of this study, it can be confirmed that the introduction and utilization of enterprise SNS suitable for enterprises leads to the satisfaction of employees' communication and improvement of the work performance.

Information and communication industry, which shows rapid growth rate, is now leading the global economic growth, contributing a ripple effect on general business and economic structure. It is said that information and communication industry enables swift economic growth taking a role as a basic industry of information-oriented society. Especially, rapid technical innovation promotes mutual growth of other related industries and it is technology-intensive. The purpose of this research is to analyze the management efficiency of information and communication industry using DEA method, and finally suggest numerical value for inefficient organizations to improve their efficiency. CCR-I, BCC-I efficiency and RTS(Returns to scale) of 29 companies engaged in information and communication industry was evaluated. With the results, I suggested model companies for benchmarking in information and communication industry. To summarize, 7 companies were selected with CCR-I efficiency rate 1, and 12 companies with BCC-I efficiency rate 1. RTS was finalized with 8 IRS companies, 10 DRS companies, and 11 CRS companies.

The Enterprise Security Management system is a centralized control system based on predefined security policies by organizations. In Korea, there is a Common Criteria security certification according to the strict standards for various features. As the needs of information security product are increasing, the ESM system should be evaluated with quality characteristics. In this paper, we propose evaluation items for functionality and performance of Enterprise Security Management system, and the best practices for evaluation.

As the number of smart phone users increases, many organizations begin to adopt social media rapidly to diversify communication channels with customers. Specifically, micro-blog, which supports instant and two-way communications between users and between organizations and users, has been adopted by many organizations as an efficient way not only to identify new customers but also to retain existing customers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the usage motivation and satisfaction of enterprise twitter based on use and gratifications perspectives comparing with Korea and China. Based on prior studies on use and gratifications of internet-related media, information seeking, pleasure/entertainment, relationship, communication, and incentives were identified as usage motivations of enterprise Micro-blog. This study contributes to provide the base of activation strategies and practical implications for micro-blog as a marketing tool.

초고속 인터넷 망의 진화로 인하여 VoIP 기술이 대두되어 저렴한 장거리 전화로 주로 사용되었고, 기업체에서는 통신비 절감을 위하여 VoIP기술의 도입이 점차로 활발해지고 있다. 기업에서 VoIP 기술을 접목하는 서비스로는 음성전화, Fax전화, 방송 등이 있을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 VoIP를 이용한 기업 방송 서비스를 구현 하기 위한 기본 기술들을 고찰 하고, 실제 구현 방법을 제안한다.

기업들이 정보공유를 통한 협업과 신속한 의사결정을 위해 기업용 SNS를 시도하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기업용 SNS 이용수준이 업무성과에 미치는 영향에 있어서 커뮤니케이션 수준의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 조직 커뮤니케이션은 경쟁우위 확보의 핵심 요소가 되기 때문에 그 선행요인을 규명하는 것이 매우 중요하기 때문이다. 다음으로 본 연구에서는 권력거리를 바탕으로 기업용 SNS 수준이 커뮤니케이션 수준에 미치는 영향에 대한 국적 조절효과를 검증하였다. 기업용 SNS를 도입하기 이전에 오프라인 조직문화를 정보기술에 적합하도록 변화시키거나 권력거리가 낮은 조직에서 기업용 SNS를 도입하는 것이 유효하다고 가정했기 때문이다. 이를 검증하기 위해 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국에서 기업용 SNS를 도입하여 운영하고 있는 기업의 구성원을 대상으로 한국 81부, 중국 81부의 설문 데이터를 회수하여 SPSS 다중회귀분석을 수행하였다. 연구모형 검증결과, 기업용 SNS는 업무성과에 직·간접 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 첫째, 기업용 SNS는 조직 구성원들이 정보를 신속하게 공유하고 피드백을 빠르게 주고받도록 지원함으로써 오류를 줄이거나 예방하여 업무성과 향상에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 커뮤니케이션 수준은 기업용 SNS가 업무성과에 미치는 영향을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 기업용 SNS는 면대면 커뮤니케이션을 온라인으로 수행하도록 함으로써 소통의 불안감이나 스트레스를 낮춰 커뮤니케이션을 원활하게 하고, 협조적이며 창의적인 조직 분위기를 조성하는데 기여함으로써 업무성과 향상에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기업용 SNS 이용수준의 커뮤니케이션 수준에 대한 국적 조절효과 가설은 검증결과 가설과 반대로 한국이 중국보다 더 높게 나타났다. 이것은 기업용 SNS가 오프라인의 경직된 소통의 우회통로로 사용되어 나타난 결과라 해석된다. 즉, 오프라인 환경에서 높은 권력거리로 인해 상하 간 커뮤니케이션이 경직되고 폐쇄적으로 흐르는 것이 비대면 기업용 SNS를 이용함으로써 대면소통의 불안감이나 스트레스가 감소하여 상하 간 커뮤니케이션이 보다 원활하게 흐르게 된 것이라 해석된다. 본 연구는 기업용 SNS 이용수준이 커뮤니케이션 수준을 향상시켜 업무성과를 높인다는 커뮤니케이션 수준의 매개효과를 검증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 그리고 변화관리와 조직 문화적 적합성이 요구되는 다른 유형의 정보시스템과 달리 기업용 SNS는 구성원들이 오프라인 커뮤니케이션 상의 문화적 한계를 우회하도록 지원함으로서 커뮤니케이션을 활성화하고 업무성과를 향상시킬 수 있음을 보여주었다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Seamless mobility is one of the most crucial feature of telecommunication industry. Researches are going on in full swing to deal with this feature in most efficient manner. Software Defined Networking (SDN) is seen as the next generation paradigm which can facilitate seamless mobility across heterogeneous networks by segregating the control plane and data plane functionalities, and logically centralizing the control plane. In this paper, we propose a simplified Layer 2 handover mechanism for enterprise wireless networks, based on SDN framework. We present a network assisted L2 handover method using the IEEE 802.21 Media Independent Handover (MIH) protocol and SDN concepts, to achieve seamless mobility across heterogeneous networks.

In recent years, business environments have become more complex; therefore, enterprises must be capable of responding flexibly and agilely. For these purposes, effective enterprise systems service monitoring and early decision making based on the same, emerge as core competency of the enterprise. In addition, enterprise system techniques that filter meaningful data are needed to event processing. However, the existing study related with this is nothing but discovering of service faults by monitoring depending upon API of BPEL engine or middleware, or is nothing but processing of simple events based on low-level events. Accordingly, there would be limitations to provide useful business information. In this study, we present an extended event processing model that enables delivery of more valuable and useful business information through situation detection. Primarily, the event processing architecture in an enterprise system is proposed as a definite approach, and then define an event meta-model suitable for the proposed architecture. Based on the defined model, we propose the syntax and semantics of the elements that make up the event processing language include various and progressive event operators, the rules, complex event pattern, etc. In addition, an event context mechanism is proposed to analyze more delicate events. Finally, the effectiveness and applicability of proposed approach is presented through a case study.
